As the title suggests, these players may not have been amazing in real life but still had an impact on your past FM/CM experiences.

Just had a massive wave of nostalgia remembering a save when I must have been 11/12 taking plymouth up a few divisions after signing Tijani Babangida and Danny Invincible!

I'm sure a few more will come to me, but I'm intrigued to know who everyone else can remember!

To Madiera
Maxim Tsigalko
Andriy Sigporsson
Evandro Roncatto

and my personal favourite Orri Freyr Oskarsson, I also remember Cisco Roma had a cheat player if you like in one of the later FM's, he was later removed by one of the patches.

Tonton zola moukoko score 30 gls a season from amc no matter what league his stats were poor apart from flair off the ball driibbling and maybe one or two others!!! Legend. Mark kerr and alex notman too!

Mark Kerr, Chris Jackson, Nii Lamptey, Paul Williams, Roland Nilsson all from around CM 90 or Italia....

Jackson started at Barnsley was 16 and would immediately bang in 20-30 a season

Darijo Srna on FM09 did not miss a freekick

Fabio Paim was always a first signings I made on 2004? I think. Always did the business, first team at 15/16

Carlos Fierro has always been good through multiple FM's to be honest i could dig deeper to some older versions but Fierro has been (for me) one of the best strikers to ever lace boots in an FM game.

Andres Guardado in about FM11/12? for Deportivo.

Retrained him to play CAM in the Adelante & he went on to dominate La Liga.

Finished 3rd in the P.O.Y. behind Messi & Ronaldo every year (may have gotten 2nd a couple of times). 15 goals, 20 assists (at least) year in, year out. I loved that little Mexican!

Daniel Bierofka circa FM08 or 09. Was available for 275k at the start of the game and would average a rating over 8 in the Premier League for about 10 years

Richairo Živković on FM15 has become a legend for me, bought for £10m from Ajax, gave him a (what I thought was) unrealistic buyout clause of £50m, tore the league up in his first 2 seasons, then PSG trigger the clause giving me big money!

not superstars but always players i will remember over the years,

gojko kacar
giuliano
hulk (up until fm11 i signed him on every one as i was close to being a dominate team for around 35mil)
G. Wijnaldum
igor akinfeev
azpilicueta (back when he was at OM)
Ganso
Sergio Asenjo
federico Fazio
Romelu Lukaku (fm09 days now plays for the team i support IRL haha)
Ignacio Comacho
Alan Dzagoev
Diego Bouananotte
Lautoro Acosta
Franco Zuculini
Sunny
Kerrison
Marquinhos (the fm09 attacking midfielder version)
Leo
Henri Saivet (never used him but was a beast attribute wise on previous fms)

Jackson Martinez (probably my favourite as i remember finding him at jaguares in either fm10 or 11 before he was 'known' and he was my all time top scorer on any fm for around 2mil)

thats just off the top of my head some players i remember that done well for me as you can see most of them are fm09 era as this was my most memorable most fun and definitely my most played :)

Yaya Sanogo in FM 11 and 12
Bressan in FM 12, I bought him for every team I played as, and he always performed well
Carlos Fierro always seems to be a great player no matter what FM. Even though he's clearly not even close to being as good in real life. He's got 3 goals in 27 games in real life, but in FM he's a god. xD
Mbaye Niang used to be amazing, if I remember correctly.

Robinho used to be at beast in 05 or 04 and i rememeber scott sinclar used to turn out class to

Henri Saivet (never used him but was a beast attribute wise on previous fms)

thats just off the top of my head some players i remember that done well for me as you can see most of them are fm09 era as this was my most memorable most fun and definitely my most played :)

Saivet was an absoute beast! Used to be able to sign him and Sakho for cheap at the start of the game and instantly smash it! I'd have to agree that 09 was probably my most memorable year.

Riquelme, Van der Vaart, Beckham (back in the day)
James Rodriquez (before he was discovered and then I used Riquleme to tutor him)
Stefano Okako & Vaclav Kadlec (cant remember if I had them together or in separate saves)

Martin Palermo for me back in the cm days remember having him an Mols as strikers for Rangers and Palermo broke McCoist's goal scoring records
