Why are Scotland so **** good?

We are actually a good team with a lot of rather good players :)

It's because of George Burley though he brought us way down the rankings

Craig Levein is sure to do a brilliant job with us

but just to name a few of our best players right now:

Kenny Miller
Allan McGregor
Charlie Adam
Darren Fletcher
Stephen McManus
Kris Commons

to name a few

and then some youth

Barry Bannan
David Goodwillie
Leigh Griffiths
Danny Wilson
Jamie Ness
James Forrest

again there a few more

We do actually have a fairly decent team, even if it is lacking a bit in technical ability :) Though I know what you mean, we do do ridiculously good on this :D
 
Yea i agree, in every game i've played of football manager, 2010 and 2011, Steven Fletcher always ends up scoring about 25ish goals per season, topping the charts and beating the likes of Rooney and Darren Bent.

A find this a little over the top oO)
 
It's pretty simple, the majority of people who buy FM are from the UK, so England and Scotland are way overrated...there are a lot of overrated English players, and the regens from both countries are way, way too good.

I think that's a little too..err what's the word, opinionated? it's not really true, people buy Fm all over the world, not just mainly in England and Scotland. And the overratedness doesn't really transpire into the game world, it's factuates (not a real word, i just made it up!) on the fees and the media in rl, not how good a Scottish player is..

Yeah but the vast majority of people who buy FM are from the UK, or are at least Premiership fans (I mean, look at this site), not to mention, it's produced IN the UK. It only makes sense that they would overrate these players, anything else would surprise me. I do agree that the transfer fees for English players are too high in real life for a variety of reasons, but that doesn't have anything to do with the fact that there are a lot of English players whose ratings are way too high in this game. I'm not so sure about Scotland because I never manage there, but in all of my saves they produce amazing regens and the NT does way too well. As does England's...they always win a World Cup and/or Euro in mine.

Sigh, so naive.

Good regens can come from anywhere. Lichtenstein can produce good regens.
