the funny thing is, i usually check through it everytime as well. I won this game just to clarify lol. Will edit it now!

Glad to hear, you're doing pretty brilliant mate. Well done. I'm doing rubbish this time around. My story is full of controversy, betrayal and being sacked! Haha.
Good luck though mate, hope you make euro qual.

Cheers man! I'll give your story a read now. I've just finished my first season at Wigan, so update will be up shortly!

April

Wigan 3-1 Southampton

Southampton have been struggling all year, so was expecting a win in this game and they didn’t disappoint. Southampton didn’t really put up much of a fight and we deserved the win. Albin, McCarthy and Redmond got the goals for us.

Stoke 1-0 Wigan

Al though the score line may suggest this game was close, Stoke fully deserved this win. We don’t seem to turn up when it comes to away days. Something that needs addressing next season.

Wigan 3-1 Swansea

Another dominant home win. Helenius got himself to goals and Albin added the 3rd. Really happy with how we are playing at home looking very strong, can’t seem to keep a clean sheet though.

Reading 0-3 Wigan

We finally managed it, our first clean sheet in 12 games! Believe it or not our last clean sheet was against Man Utd as well. Reading are also a team struggling down the bottom end of the table, so I was expecting to come out on top. Goals in the first half from Albin, Helenius and Wellington Nem made it a straight forward win.

May

Norwich 1-1 Wigan

No repeat of the 6-1 smashing at home thank god, but disappointed we couldn’t win this one. Our play fully deserved the win, but Ruddy was in fine form for Norwich. See this as 2 points dropped rather than 1 gained.

Wigan 2-0 QPR

Was expecting this to be a lot closer then it turned out to be, we scored early in the second half through Redmond, and then a goal in injury time from Wellington Nem secured the points. Form has been decent over the last month!

Aston Villa 2-0 Wigan

Goals in the first 10 minutes from Bent and Agbonlahor completely deflated us. We gradually got back into the game but couldn’t find a goal!

End Of Season

The European dream couldn’t be realised, but overall im more than happy with our 10th place finish, and so was Dave Whelan who awarded me with a new contract! Here is a look at the final standings in the Premier League, amazed that Man Utd never secured a top 4 finish especially with Van Persie smashing in 24 league goals.

Excellent stuff, Interested to know if the board offer you decent transfer funds next season.
You might be able to mount a decent challenge for a euro quals position, especially if your team gets any better than it already is.

Watching with interest mate. Keep it up.

Decent start here mate, hope it can build into something! Always seen Wigan as a tricky challenge

Wow, this is a cracking story. Hate it when people dominate from the off with small team and expect it to be a good read. 10th is a cracking but realisitc finish. Some great results. Must admit though glad my local team Norwich were a thorn in your side haha. Good luck next season, establish yourself as top half team would be fab.

Gutted that theres no update yet and I'm gonna bed, haha. Will read when ya post it :)

Yeah i agree with your comment about early/unrealistic domination. As for Norwich i am looking to beat them home and away after what they done to me last year haha

Just read through and you have done really well :) looking forward to the next update

Sorry about the lack of updates people, been real busy at work etc. Hopefully have one up tonight!

Just read through this mate love playing as wigan, very good first season, Redmond is a great addition im sure in a couple of years you'll be able to sell him on for 2or3 times that fee

What tactics do you play with? I cant seem to get any working.
