Post Match Review
England duly delivered today thanks to a superb hat-trick from England skipper S.Gerrard and a brace from in-form striker C.Cole. This game gave us a chance to try out our wide play and it has improved all be it not perfect. Next us Is the Qualifier to Bulgaria, A Must win game.
 
ur doing well at the moment. although big test will be when u play the bigger teams.... also have u thought about applying for a club job to go with ur england job

i did but i want to stay at england til at least, 2020. may go into Club management then.

Post Match Review -
A 5-2 win against Bulgaria is a great win and to see W.Rooney back to his best is a massive boost, C.Cole continued his great form with another goal. Thats 6 in his last 4 games. Woodgate took a knock and was subbed at half time, but an impressive all round display. Montenegro come next with Switzerland to come 4 days later. 6 points out of 6 is the target.

Post Match Review -
A near nightmare start as Terry tugged back Jovetic from Montenegro to give away a penalty but Foster saved it and we then got our act together. After such an early scare i was pleased with how the team took the game to Montenegro. We all know that the next game against Switzerland, will be a much sterner test.




So after a 3-1 win in Montengro, England travel to Zurich to play Switzerland. A 1-1 draw at wembley last year showed how good the opponents are tonight, lets see the starting line-ups for tonights qualifier.

Post Match Review.
A great win against Switzerland has set us nicely to Qualify for EURO 2012. With three games left and 7 points clear of 2nd placed Switzerland a win against Wales in September will see us qualify with two games to spare. C.Cole is the star man in these qualifiers he is the leading goal-scorer and i hope he can carry on this rich vein of form. Next up is Wales and Bulgaria in 4 days.

thats what i thought?!!!

he was injured for the first three months but after that he's played in every game..... Please explain.

Post Match Review -
A great win against wales, which secured our place at EURO 2012. W.Rooney was on form again and J.Milner scored his first goal. We also kept a clean-sheet which was a bonus and this may suggest a new no1 goalkeeper in R.Green.





With Englands qualification secure, many would feel they may take their foot off the gas, however looking at Pugh's starting 11 many would say it's a strong enough side to win here tonight. Lets have a look at the starting 11's....

Another fine display saw us take 3 points and another clean sheet. Rooney scored his second brace in a week and A.Young the solution to left mid scored the third. Next up is our last qualifier against Montenegro at Wembley

An expected win and now i can concentrate on the actual tournament itself. I have arranged two friendlies between Cameroon and France before the draw takes place in December Results are unimportant but good performances are crucial.
