I must say before this story continues that i am glad to inspire other people to start their own storys and challenges. i myself was really finding it hard to get back into fm2010 and i will admit that i have failed on other threads that i started. i am enjoying this story though and every positive comment i receive is like a trophy in its self thanks to all everyone following this story and to all the people who have commented so far................ P.S. next up is England vs Greece my first group game :)

Post Match Review -
A good start to the group with a 1-0 win. We dominated possession and at times were allowed to knock the ball backwards and sideways or long periods. I must admit i was worried that they would equalise, but thanks to our overall domination we got the three points we deserved....

Post Match Review -
A good game but i thought we could of snatched it at the end. A.Cole suffered concussion after heading the post (looked funny and painful at the same time) i know now we must get at least a draw against Sweden to qualify.

Post Match Review -
As always England have done it the hard way. The worst of starts got worse as we went
2-0 down in the first 15 minutes. At half time i knew we had to score twice so i went to a
4-2-4 formation. It thankfully paid off as C.Cole scored twice to pull us level. My Heart nearly sunk when in the third minute of stoppage time Z.Ibrahimovic broke clear rounded the keeper on the edge of the area and rolled the ball towards the goal, only for P.Jagielka to clear off the line to just out side the "d". With Foster scrambling back it fell to K.Kallstrom who on the half volley unleashed a thunderbolt of a shot, which thank to god thundered off the crossbar and went out for a goal kick. Our Life was still intact and the heart of England beats on into the knockout stages.

Post Match Review -
A tense scrappy affair, saw us progress to the semi-finals with a sterling performance from S.Gerrard. We didn't play too well but at the end of the day it's the result that counts and now we know we have a 1/4 chance off winning the trophy.

No because if he's not good enough for the spain squad he's not good enough for the england.

We gave football to the world and we should have the best players, not the brazilians or the spanish..... We are English and we should be the best of the best lol

Post Match Review -
WE ARE IN THE FINAL!!!! - Shouts John Champion, and he's right. Thanks to captain Marvels brace England are through to our first final since 1966. A Sour note is the fact that F.Lampard will miss the final as he was sent off for two bookable offences. But nevertheless England are now 1 game away from glory.
