Ok seriously guys. Cantona, Scholes, Best, Messi... where is this coming from.

Yes, Messi has the potential to be the greatest player ever. But he isnt there yet. Not close. Greatness is earned through success over time. I'm a Utd fan, but there is no way Scholes, Best or Cantona, as undeniably great as they were, could be called the greatest ever. Just no way.

There are so many players who could be, it is impossible to judge accurately really. If forced to answer the question would have to say, Pele, Maradona, Eusebio, DiStefano and potentially Zidane...

best was simply that, the best. Ronaldo whinges about being kicked in england thesedays well he never had to put up with what Bestie did. Best is up there,
Best, Pele and Maradona are the three greatest no doubt.

Gone for Zinedine Zidane due to his spells of utter genius that he can have. But if Ryan giggs was on there would have voted him due to his ability to win game and is one of the few top players that actualy stay at top of there game all there career and his consistancy is unbelivable.
 
i vited for pele but iwas suprised to see maradonna in the line up he was a fat cheat and still is

u should remove Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka and maybe Ronaldinho from there. they still play.
