WTF is wrong with my team?!

Bad seasons happen, In FM 2010 I got sacked from Liverpool because I was 13th after 30 games, was not even in the running for EURO CUP.
In the same game the next season I took charge of Notts Forest and finished 6th in the PREM, you have great seasons and BAD seasons, its what makes the game great

Anyway, I guess it's all been said. Dip in form, formation, training, etc. Really just try to hang in there and think were your teams strength lie, then find a formation for it.
 
In all fairness if you have been using the same tactics and the same players in the same role for two seasons then other managers who would be scouting your team for a few games before playing you will be able to see the EXACT way that you are playing, thus being able to change how they are playing in order to beat or counter your tactic. Losing is to be expected, change it up!
 
Okay, I downloaded goalgalore or whatever, here's the deal..

There is a little difference in style of playing, I mean I score more goals(lil bit more), BUT..

I keep losing games, home/away games..... Games I'm supposed to win, I lose em..

I dontknow.. PLEASE, ANYBODY WHO IS PLAYING WITH CHELSEA, GIMME A CALL..
HOW ARE YOU MANAGING CHELSEA?
tactics, training etc...
I'm desperate..

I already started to hate FM.. I used to love it.. quite alot..


Just started 3rd season, 3 wins 2 draws 3 losses..................................
 
Mate I won the League 1st season & started the 2nd season really badly.
I was 8th or 9th for ages, the middle of the season was good but then lost 4 of the last 5 games and finished 5th and out of the Champions League places.

You have to change the tactic occasionally otherwise the AI susses you out and you end up drawing or losing games you should win.

I found the morale of the squad can become low very quickly (after 1 defeat) and the team play very badly when the morale is bad.

I found Lampard and Anelka not to be very good at all and have got rid of Anelka and Lampard is a reserve.

I sacked Wilkins at the end of season 2 and promoted Baldini to Assistant.Season 3 has started well currently 2nd.
I play a Diamond formation most of the time and a 4-5-1 away to the big teams.

hmm... I remember when I played with Liverpool on fm10. I won the first season but finisht like 13th the second season. Then I won the leuage two times in the row again!
I know its really frustrating but it will probebly turn around soon. Try new tactics, bring in some new players, change the way you manage the team. How u talk to the media, matchtalks etc.
 
Mate , like everyone else has said you need to change things around a bit, there wouldn't be any point in this game if you made one tactic and said the same thing at half time and won everything, and btw isn't it more challenging tryna find a winning formula, you see what happens is that like the others have said, your team is scouted and the other teams work out how you play, if you can't score and are not creating heaps of chances become more attacking, give some players more creative freedom or sometimes less so you work more as a team,its difficult and frustration but i can't believe you quit the game if you were losing i mean yeah chelsea are good but any team can suddenly collapse just as fast as they rise, you can have all the money all the players but if you are a poor manager your gonna lose and mate its your tactics and your morale that is making you lose, try offering new contracts to a few players or praising some players who are doing ok, use oyur managmeent skills, this game is football manager , so do what it says on the tin.

I am in my second season as celtic and doing well. First season started with my traddiotnal 41212 then chnaged to a 4132. I reg tweak the temp the width playing style i.e through the middle, I would recomend if you dont allready see what your scout says on your upcoming match cause even if you are playing the shitest team in the league and you dont get your tactics spot on you will lose which i found out, but i learned from it. When you play in games do you go attakc every game as i tend to select control depedning if i am playing away from home in europe or the old firm game where i want to go first 30 minutes without conceeding.

Well i did pretty well in my second season. Nearly won the quadruple except losing in FA cup final. So any screenshots of the squad and tactics? Still relying on Drogba, Lampard etc??

Btw i use my own tactics and believe me, i'm no tactical expert:) .....and Dunc's training with seperate schedules for unhappy players.
 
I changed so many things mates..
Bought new players, new tactic(galore), new team talks, new media talks, everything..
Yesterday, after I posted my last reply here, 2 players came to me with: "Club is underachieving bla bla .."

So, WHATS that...

Okay, I guess I have to start new game or something, and see what will happen. But Im pretty sure that it will happen again, and ..


And another thing I forgot to ask about, Do you all have 5-star training? I mean, In all areas?

Cuz in attacking I got only 3 stars, but in shooting I got 5..

I mean, I bought some new staff additions like Meulensteen, Baldini, Di salvo.. But I cant gain 5 star training in all areas..
