Okey:) you said different attack formation so I thought you changed it up
 
Is this still working with 14.2.2. or should i wait with update?
 
Aww i was hoping you would say 4-2-3-1 as thats what i have the team set up for. Oh what camera view did you have it set to in that demo? reminds me of fm13 and i prefered it that way personally
 
Second Season running the Home v3 Tweaked and Away v3 Tactic.

Don't think I could have tried any harder than I did. I won Champions League second time in a row and League. So I did the double (or treble if you count club world championship). But oh boy do I hate Man City.

They knocked me out the FA cup in the Semi Final and the Carling Cup in the Final.

They also did the double on me in the league. Messing up some great runs.

4 times I played them and not one time did I even get a draw!

In the Semi Final I made three subs and a man got injured and in the Final a man got sent off, I scored first, but ended up losing anyway, so fed up with the game dishing out unrealistic luck. It has been the same way for me in cup competitions from years.

I just can't get to the point of winning everything gah!!

Same is happening for me, both team from Man I just can't beat them!
 
Manchester UTD are definitely still a hard team, but they have declined where Manchester city haven't.

For years I would lose against the same teams and slowly as my game progressed they would get weaker and I stronger.

First it was Fulham, Tottenham, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and the Manchester teams. Then slowly(perhaps every other season)a team would become easier to beat.

First Fulham, then spurs, then Liverpool, then Chelsea, arsenal, Manchester UTD but not city...so far..

I think reputation may have a lot to do with odds, because the quality of my team now isn't necessarily better than it was 10 seasons ago.

I wanted to be able to win everything through merit rather than have to make sure I beat other rival clubs to important signatures, just so they don't have another world beater to play against me for 15 seasons.
 
Starting to find things falter after only a few matches. Went 2-0 down at home to L'orient and changed to my old tactics to claw myself back into the game and get a 2-2 draw. Getting dominated by Marseille at home in my last match untill i changed the tempo to lower and got 2 quick goals but they still seemed to have a lot of possession.

Im normally of the belief that if i am not dominating, then i am doing something wrong and i'm not normally content to sit back and soak up the pressure and try to counter. Its 2 nerve wracking :p So i tend to tinker till things start going my way a little more. That was what i did on my previous tactic had went unbeaten for 12 months in the league.

I know theres no issue with squad morale as its high and i follow Raaikan007's team talk thingy, just sometimes with some matches i think a tweak here or there can make the difference. Maybe its because this tactic is more Direct Ball rather than pass 2 feet, or because the tactic width/passing and formation arent fully fluid, i couldnt really say.

One thing i do notice whichever tactic i play, changing the tempo of the game after i score 1 or 2 goals does seem to alter things. If your losing a goal do you try and change things to get back into the game? Ofc you do and so does the AI. It would be 2 easy to stick to exactly the same tactics and win 10-0 because you constantly exploit the same weakness over and over and ive consistently noticed that tempo altering does change things depending on what tempo the opposition plays and what other tactics your employing affects what will work.

Well it's starting to get better for me, as now I don't loose like 4-1, but maybe more 2-0, 1-0 or 2-1... Even got a draw against Man Utd :D!
 
Again, wonderful work. I am really enjoying my Ajax save. Because of the young players they have I have been able to coach ppm. Ppm's should NOT be under estimated!

I won the Champions League in my first season, which quite frankly I shouldn't of with the squad I have.

- changed Advanced Playmaker instructions and duty to Support (Home tac)
- changed Advanced Playmaker to Deep-Lying Playmaker with new p.instructions (Away tac)

Tips:
- if you play away & first half is ending with 0:0 result start second half with home tac. When they score change back to away tac (against Big Clubs it can be risky)
- if you play home tac and you want to keep the score just change to away tac
- against weaker opponent away you can play with home tac
- if you get a red card take off CF
- on home tac you can try to change AP duty to attack and see if it works better for you

Players Preferred Moves:
AF: Moves Into Channels, Tries First Time Shots, Shoots With Power, Places Shots

Will any of the PPM's be changing? Not sure comes deep to get ball would work with AF?

you mean AP I think, of course will work - he's your playmaker and he need to do that

No I mean the advance forward which replaces the false 9. When playing away with the Deep Laying Forward I can understand the PPM come deep to get the ball, but doesn't this conflict when set as AF?
