2-0 down at 20mins playing vs Chelsea using the Home v4a tactic. So I switched to the Away v4 tactic, to save face and not let in more goals. My ST's had other idea's!!! Thank you xPer for these amazing tweaks!
 
has anybody have test this tactics with match prep teamwork???

First season done with v4 tactics and results wise about the same as last season with v3. This season I got knocked out of Champions League quarter final against arsenal. I was 1-0 ahead in the opening game away and lost 1-2 at home. The home tactic letting me down.

In league cup semi final, my loss was against Fullham, again the home tactic letting me down. It did however come at a bad time, directly after the champions league falter.

If you look at the results, you'll see I got caught out in the league game before the champions league first leg, this put me in bad form for the two cup games and although I escaped the champions league at that point, it probably cost my morale for the league cup.

I really think last years home tactic was stronger, you score more goals with this tactic and strikers are more clinical, but if you don't switch your defensive line/instructions/to away tactic you quickly will lose leads, perhaps this has to do with the Advance forward contributing less to the team as a whole than a False 9. Instead he focusses more on attack. There however hasn't been many games where i have struggled to score like last season at home.

Manchester City weren't as good this year so hopefully they are falling, my biggest problem was getting the results in big games.

Now there have been a couple of changes to the roles it gives me time in the summer to bring in a couple of more suitable players. Hopefully that will give me the same results as others have been reporting.

I am in the year 2038 now, so sometimes its hard to get regens with the right stats.

I tried by default and I think it helps your team a lot when you are rotating squad often for mid-week games.

Next season I will only be using Def Position at start and in big away/neutral games.

Attacking for games at home.

Teamwork for easy games home and away and the odd set pieces every so often...ill see how that works out.
 
it's a good tactic buth struggeling with the match prep the best results are with teamwork and tactics only buth not for a long period.

for some reason match prep with atackking movement i easy lost games and my strikers don't score.

does someone uses OI?

I use OI's (Tassotti as Ast Manager) then I use Att movement in Home games + Def positioning in Away games. Or if I'm vs a big club I do def positioning at home too.

My latest result using such things. and General - Average, normal training and Individual training = the role they play (BWM, AF, CF etc)

Got the same problem as you do. I win the games, but my strikers doesn?t score. Just a goal every 3 or 4 matches. It really sucks. But it is a great tactic.
 
I just downloaded your set of tactics but in those tactics, strikers are Advanced forward attack / complete CF support
In the first post, your strikers are CF attack / F9

Is this normal :) ?
 
Tried this tactic but everytime my midfield gets overrun. Any tips to stop this?
 
Im playing now multiplayer game with my friends with v4 and I have made a small change on AWAY tac.
I have change one Team Instruction from Work Ball Into Box to Pump Ball Into Box:

It works better for me.

The "pump ball into box" tweak has worked a treat away from home. Doubled the shots on target stat per game. turning narrow defeats into draws and draws into wins :)

Well my midfield 4 consists of Insigne, De Rossi, Lucas Romero and Florenzi... Maybe not using OI's?? Will try/test the new home one.
