Still sitting 7th with Notts forrest on 59 points with 5 games to go, unfortunately teams above me are doing awesome so even though I have bossed the league beating city united etc its all for nothing because I wont get a european place!

Borini and Vydra up front works well, Vydra got injured so had to try Borini as CF and wow he was awesome 7 in 4 but dont have another F9 so slight issue!

May try this with my shrewsbury save as some of my regens are insane
 
this tac with arsenal works great for me.bought back my favorite player reyes,and he is a assist-king on LM (Winger).
also using ozil!!! as my f9. just love this tac.GOOD WORK

Hey bombers, i must say this tactic is really good! i wanted to start a game with Hellas Verona (20th predicted) in Italy but i always get sacked in january, then i've tried your tactics and this what happened

4th! and lost a CL spot in the last game. i've played all season long with the away tac just made some minor tweaks, the training was set to Balanced/def.pos and i've signed only a right FB. Really, good job:)
 
The away tactic for underdog teams is one of the best I just beat Arsenal 4-0 at home with them only having one shot... ha

As you can see I finished 7th scoring the most in the premier league! Vydra top scorer (CF) and Borini top Assister (F9) , the season had ups and downs, still trying to find something that works but jesus does the away tactic work at home against big teams.

It was strange how I got these two results and then lost 2-4 against southampton when I was the home team, should have started with the away tactic so my mistake! Had silly draws against wigan and norwich with the home tactic creating 15+ chances and getting a 1-1 in the norwich game and a 0-0 in the wigan game!

Overall this tactic is brilliant I would have finished higher but as you can see the 6 teams above me performed incredibly well 65 points and not getting top 6 was a joke, luckily got to the final of the FA cup which got me into europe! Lost that final against Newcastle who also won the league with a very mediocre side! I had 10 shots they had 5 in the final and they won 3-1, but hey thats FM for you! May try this on other saves or may carry on this one! Hope this post is useful! Also finished the season on a high with a 3-3 draw away from home against United which prevented them winning the league, which as an Arsenal was bliss!

Also I used the defensive tweak on the home tactic which is changing the defensive line to deeper and unticking offisde trap!

Also I conceded 60 goals but 9 of them were in the first 2 games where I wasnt using this tactic, and 4 were in a home game against Spurs when I was using the home tactic with the high line

Steven Fletcher may be coming in as the complete forward his stats are insane, Vydra was good but feel if I had someone better all round they would have done much better!
 
Might just be for me, but this seems to work much better by asking my assistant to take care of opposition instructions rather than not having any at all.

Excellent tactic though mate all the same. Love a classic 4-4-2
 
Its not a tweak as such mate, just on the home tactic on the shouts, change the line from push higher up to drop deeper and uncheck the offside trap!
 
Just played 3 game with oppo instructions on (Arsenal Away, Hull Home, WBA Home)... And none of the 3 sides had a shot! Compared to me having a total of 61 shots at the other end! Wow, seriously impressed with this mate, will keep testing.
 
Yes I use both.

The formation still has the problem of conceding a lot from set pieces (Messi scored 2 headers from corners against me :/ ) But that's more to do with the ME favouring corners/free kicks than it is anything to do with the tactic.
 
played the home version of this tactic for my last 21 games of the season won 15 drew 3 lost 3. Finally got Torres scoring he had scored 5 up until February by the end of the season he had 17 playing in the CF role. Won the league with Chelsea by a landslide. Very happy with the tactic just not the FM14 experience overall.
 
My CM combo next year is a mean one, Matic as the AP and Bradley as the BWM should work nicely
