So far it's been Maxi Rodriguez and Oscar Cardozo for my Villa game.
 
Christian Stuani. Not a superstar, but he's been scoring consistently in the Prem for three seasons now.

Just got Miguel Veloso for the upcoming season on free, let's hope he lives up to expectation.

which team u play..? i just won prem the season before, so he come, offered to me by his agent.. stiff competition from man utd...

he's very easy to get on fm10, so is affelay and zezinho, all players i got free

Mainly people just saying 'WOW I GOT (insert good player) FOR FREE I R PRO'. :)

I also got Muntari on a free, who has been pretty beast. Seen so many awesome players on frees, but as I am leicester, I don't have a chance in **** with most of them :(
 
I managed to get Evra for Aston Villa, and i almost got Drogba but he went to Madrid both in 2012
 
Not mine but Napoli grabbing Sergio Busquets was a good 'un - they took Serie A that season too. And Balotelli's moved on a freebie a couple of times now - apparently as a result of him hating everyone at every club everywhere - came close to signing him myself last time he was available but his wages and ego combined put me off.

In my game rooney didn't want to sign a new contract and is now half a season without a club, plus there doesnt seem to be anyone interested, which is pretty weird, but serves him right. i wanted to buy him first when he was transfer listed, but he didnt want to talk to me so i got hulk instead xD
 
Best freebie so far is Xabi Alonso, its 2013 in my game so hes nearly 32 but his stats are still very good i also was looking for a nice CM well i certainly got one
