Your most Underrated and Overrated Player and Manager?

Overrated player - Luis Suarez. Everyone had been going on and on about him being world class but boy he frustrates me whenever I watches Liverpool. Gives away the ball way too much and finishes like a donkey at times.

Underrated player - Youssuf Mulumbu. Every time I watch a West Brom game this guy is a stand out performer. Keeps things simple, passes well, strong tackler, good interceptor and pops out with good shot from range occasionally. What more can you ask from a DM?

Overrated manager - Mark Hughes. Look at the amount of players he had signed for QPR and how they performed. Look at what he did in City. Look at how he quit Fulham.

Underrated manager - Sam Allardyce. Saved so many clubs from relegation but yet when people hears his name they groan in agony. It's not pretty, but it's sure as **** effective. His record speaks for himself.

Overrated player - Pepe Reina. Mistake prone for a good year or two now.

Underrated player - Shola Ameobi. Mackem slayer.

Overrated manager - AVB. Won the league with Porto. Hardcore.

Underrated manager - Brendan Rodgers. No one else could keep Liverpool from the foot of the table this season.

Overrated Player - Reina, been a mediocre keeper since last year & Cleverly & Evra!!!!...

Underrated player - Agree with Ramires! Diaby (Arsenal, he is class)

Overrated Manager - Pep Guardiola & AVB

Underrated Manager - David Moyes (I know he is not underrated, but he is very good and deserves more praise than he actually gets)

I personally love Cleverley and think he deserves all the praise he is getting, the simplicity and effectiveness of his game is for me a sign of a great future player. At the moment he is one of United and England's hottest talents imo, definitely could be something special.

Overrated player - Steven Gerrard, I'm sorry he is just not the same player anymore, consistently gives the ball away in the double-pivot role.

Underrated player - Cheick Tiote/ Michael Carrick.

Overrated manager - Mark Hughes... what the **** has he done.

Underrated manager - Tony Pulis.

Agree with Mark Hughes at club level but the best Wales manager i've seen, got to the playoffs of euro 2004 before losing to Russia which at that time with the Welsh team was a brilliant achievement beating Italy home and away on the way, should have been rehired after the events of Gary Speed rather than Chris Coleman

Interesting to see reina and avb being the most overrated. I think he got overrated because all the media wanted another mourinho so they just made him up to be a genius, he might have gone a season unbeaten but last year they only lost one.

My worst hate about avb is when he said ' I feel I helped the [chelsea] team win the cl' argh!!!

Reina is mistake prone but he used to be very good so I guess he is living on his reputation, I thought vorm was going to join them as Rodgers bought him.

I think Sam alladyse has the same problem as pulls: his playing style, everyone wants the pl to be 20 barcelonas I enjoy the variety of styles.. Also all of that agent backhanders and stuff?
Song was quality for arsenal against Liverpool, reminded me of vieria but I only watched the highlights so please correct me and tell me a player he is like.

Suarez is a ****... Middle finger to fulham, bites somebody, rascist, headbutt, handball cheat, can't finish, looks like a ****! Plays for Liverpool, I hate him!!!

Overrated Players - Cleverly, Ramsey and Wilshere.

Underrated player - Arteta

Overrated Manager - Scholari

Underrated Manager - Rafa Benitez

Over-rated Player(s): Stewart Downing, Rio Ferdinand and Pepe Reina
Over-rated Manager(s): Mark Hughes, AVB and Paul Lambert

Under-rated Player(s): Laurent Koscielny, Ramires, Tony Hibbert and Neil Taylor
Under-rated Manager(s): David Moyes, Steve Clark and Michael Laudrup

Would like to mention Paul Scholes as a under-rated player, Manchester United would really struggle without him it showed at the start of last season. RVP thanked Paul Scholes for his perfomance against the Saints and gave all the credit to him. He doesn't get mentioned alot in the media etc despite his talent.

How is Lampard underrated when 90% of fans/media think the sun shines out of his ****? There's a reason we've persisted with trying to fit him and Gerrard into an England side for a decade.

Lampard underrated? XD now that is a good one

Underrated when it comes to a lot of opposition fans and mainly England supporters. One of the reasons i don't go to England games now is because of the hatred towards our own players. Was there once and Lampard scored for us and people infront of me booed him! Called them up on it and they said well he is **** for England! Seriously he just scored for us and the amount of players who have played well for England in the past 20 years you could count on one hand! He is constantly picked by managers not the media or fans, from what i have seen/heard he's ability is questioned all the time.

Lampard shouldnt be playing for england. Not because he is a bad player, but he is the wrong player.

Maybe so, the role he took up Friday is the same he has been doing for Chelsea this season and the last 3 months of last season. Will be okay against the smaller sides but the bigger sides will take advantage of him for sure because he does like to get forward and bigger sides will punish him. But he still puts in good displays for England and Chelsea and his experience is key, Hodgson must see something in him.

If Lampard or Terry was dropped for England then there would be national rage and outcry. I think that shows they're overrated

I doubt it, when JT was included instead of Ferdinand for the Euro's there was an outcry.

Well yes, because of why Rio was overlooked.

Well the media portrayed it as Hodgson being racist. Maybe he just rates JT as a better defender or is that just inconcievable?

That is the exact problem. Hodgson sees him as a deep lying player, we both know thast wrong. We saw against Atletico why at the top level you need a specialist. Its one thing vs Moldova, Wigan, etc, another thing entirely again tougher teams.

There is plenty of experience in the side to be honest. 4-3-3, and yeah play him, no one better making those runs. 4-2-3-1. bad call.

In terms of England, Lampard is overrated.

His reasoning fell apart very quickly once he called up Kelly, lets be honest.

Not really, lets be honest with the trial coming up after the Euro's he had to pick one of them. Rio's attitude during and after the trial on Twitter just proved that. Imagine if both were in the squad, it would have caused to much tension.

That doesn't make him overrated, just not needed.
