HANNIBAL V4 - Inspired by Diego Simeone's philosophy

We were discussing a home version with 'Slightly higher' D-line, but I did not added it, since it was a bit situational. Just added to the notes section.

Currently trying Hannibal V4 with Hartlepool and 13 games in top of the league 6 points clear

Hello, I am currently managing Charlton, I tested your Falchion V3 tactic with a big club and it worked wonders, which tactic should I use for a Sky bet league 1 team? Sky bet league 1 teams doesnt have complete forwards!

Thanks zyndar. I am using the HANNIBAL V3. Just got promoted to D1 with my Exeter City with a record high points!

I have some questions to ask:

What is the difference between V3 and V4? Should I use the new one for the next season?

Is it OK if a use a left-footed forward for the right advanced forward?

Is it OK if a center midfield/winger has a preferred move of 'Dictates Tempo'/'Stops Play'?

Many thanks!

Could someone help make a defensive version of Falchion which can actually shut up shop, the one attached is worse defensively than the normal tactic, sick of giving up 4 goal leads, the normal tactic is great but slightly leaky sometimes

what team are u?do u watch games in full or use instant result?do u use teamtalks after a game and at end of every month?is tactic completely fluid?you havent given any information so i suspect u are doing something wrong bro.original falchion v3 had me dominating la liga with las palmas and my tweaked version has seen my mk dons side unbeaten approaching xmas in first season. It wont work with every team but its a solid tactic bro, defensively my tweaks have been very solid just like the original.

Maybe I just have a poor defence for the league that I'm in but it just seems that we implode when I switch to defensive tactic

what team are u?when u say defensive version are u referring to my tweaked version i posted?if so then i have to say for me it has been solid defensively whilst being very effective upfront.i never thought it would be so effective having 2 false 9's in L1 but its working,i advise using pacy f9's and definitely a quick AF.kieran agard and nicky maynard are both exceptional as an AF for me.And if u arent fluid in a tactic then dont expect great results

I'm having very good results using Hannibal v3 in my brazilian save. Most of the time I start with Attack mentality (I don't have the patience to watch AI parking the bus for 97 minutes every game) then switch to counter the very second I take the lead. I think the ME actually favors this approach.

I had actually won the league the previous year (using three strikers formations, quite effective but also incredibly boring to watch i.e. Crossing Wingback 17), but find with this tactic and approach I tend to hold on to leads more successfully.

When the opponents don't just play to park the bus for 90 minutes this can be a very versatile and fun tactic. See this Copa Libertadores match against Estudiantes (used counter mentality for whole game and destroyed them everywhere):

Unfortunately this is the exception, and even top clubs in brazil - with much better players than me - force my team to play Crossing Manager Near Post Edition virtually every match. This game has been so frustrating to play for the last two years, I only keep playing because I have an addiction...

Have you tried developing a tactic with AMC + 2 strikers (4-3-1-2; 3-4-1-2)? I'm currently convinced SI games hate AMC's...

Thanks for another great tactic Zyndar!

Thanks for the feedback! The 4312 could be interesting, this is a formation I will be new to ;)

View attachment 112878yes ive tweaked it a little but can honestly say falchion is one of the best tactics ive used in a long time.Looking to try hannibal v4 for some games before end of season.i might even try and create a 4312 out of falchion
