This tactic attempts to create horizontal lines, 2 at the back, 3 in midfield, and 4 across the front, with one midfielder just behind the two strikers. The tactic attempts to use patient build up play for the two strikers to eventually get most of the goals.

I think the player can develop into a top DM, since he has good defensive potential, but is slow (ruling him out as a CB), and is not good at crossing (so not very good as an attacking fullback)

Unless I misunderstand your question, here is the answer: You do not need to 'open' the .fmf files. You only need to place them in the editor data folder. Then simply start new game with that file enabled from the menu. .fmf files are editor files that can be used to edit the games database...

Check what kind of affiliation you have with Manchester United. It looks like they have signed this player from you, and will give you money after league appearances. It is a youth player (i think), so they may have gotten him from youth recruitment.
