Yeah this is decent. My tactic was starting to not work anymore, so gave this a try and results changed straight away - played 6 games last night and won 5, however the one I lost was 7-0 away at Man Utd (my left back getting sent off after 4 minutes didn't help matters though).

Good to hear. It certainly isn't a flawless tactic, but getting some decent results with Newcastle - knocked out of Carabao Cup in Semi Final by Spurs, in Qtr Final of FA Cup, and sitting 3rd in the league, so can't complain!

Well, my season went completely off the rails and I finished 11th, Semi Final of FA Cup, and 4th Round of League Cup. Had to beg to be given another chance by the board, who have agreed and given me their backing. Not sure why FM splits your summer transfer activity between the season before...
