They screwed it imo. The release version (unpatched) was so good. 1v1s were actually more likely to score (like IRL) - of coruse not all the time, but movement etc was better as well.
The current ME just feels like FM20 all over again - frustrating chances, players made to be dumb at worst...
I've since changed my AP, IF, and W to a support duty. changed both wingers to have shorter passing and fewer risky passes. Seems to have the 10 more involved.
I've played around changing the 10 to have 'More Direct Passes' on and off, varying degrees of success. Obviously though having it on...

Why are people complaining about tactics "not working" (which I would categorically disagree with in the first place) after the first season?
IN the modern era of professional sport (any sport) teams are quick to adapt to tactics that aren't defensive based - which is why teams like Chelsea etc...
From someone who REALLY wants to tailor tactics to a team and make my own (instead of relying on the many, but albeit excellent, tactics on here) - I really appreciate this.
I may not be up to LLM level yet, but let's hope this gets me onto a good start.
What would I need to do to swap the more attacking fullback to the right hand side (e.g. play a more defensive monreal on the left with an attacking bellerin on the right)? Or could I just swap the roles without tweaking anything?
This may not be my preferred way of playing, but **** this is the only tactic (either downloaded form here/anywhere, or ones I've made) that can truly have 800+ passes per game.
