Wikipedia (Yes, I know anybody can edit) for place and date and there are many articles (including ones about England nicking another Jamaican -like John Barnes) which say he was born in Jamaica which can be found all over the internet.

He was born in Harlesden. I know him personally, he's English. His parents are from Jamaica.

Well if the lad himself says he was born in England then.. I'm going for he was born in England..
