334 PEPPER (POSSESSION + CCC = PERFECTION) #BLISS

I'm going to try this now - changing wide mid fielders to the wing back roles instead. Shall report back soon.

The stability of the tactic comes from the CMs but it's to try using wing backs in the winger position to be more capable at the back but not lose anything in attack. Other people have tried it and it worked really well. Gona try it this weekend and report back

I appreciate the idea, but playing against teams like Arsenal that overload those wide areas can be very difficult - as shown by a couple of the results in this thread against them. Never seen a top team let in 9 goals before

Really great feed back. Did you use the v1 or v2.0. You maybe on to something here with the wing backs on the wings. They will give you more defensive stability and are still comfortable on the wing. How many goals did they score

I played with V1 and didn't use any OI's at all.

The WM's were always my best players. I had to use my WB's as I had built my team around a 4 defenders back line, so I put the RB/LBs into RM/LM position. Their ratings for that position was only like 50% but they still performed amazing.

Can't figure how to take screenshots from FM or else I could upload. But this tactic really was amazing. I had really bad results with other tactics and as soon as I switched to this I didn't lose in 25 games.

When the SPL split into the top 6 all playing each other, I beat Partick Thistle (2nd place) 7-0, Aberdeen (3rd place) 6-0 and a few more high scoring results.

It is an amazing tactic. Im interested to play for a full season.

Steam has a feature to take screenshots, just hit F12 during the game ;)

I dont know why, but I feel that I'm getting better results with V1.

Now on my 4th season with grasshoppers and this tactic: We had a quite bad start, just 4 points from the first 3 games. Maybe it's because we sold too many players during summer. But after this 3 games we're smashing everyone again. Clearly on top of the league and managed to get 3rd place on Champions Cup Group Stage while beeing seeded 4th again.

Although I've to say I am really struggling on the Champions Cup. Only once I've made it through the Group Stage, but maybe the european opponents are too strong for my swiss team :(

Which teams would you lot say are most suited for this tactic? Im talking about teams that have fast cbs, great wingers and quality cms (hard working yet great passers)?

After a few dodgy results with the version 2 tactic I have reverted to version 1. First match I dominated and smashed Chelsea 6-2 at home. I feel version 1 is a better tactic and man marking takes away from possession and attacking movements.

I played with v1 for second part of my second season and went unbeaten till the end. However tried v2 from start off following season and played 6 lost 4 won 2. The Tactic is fully fluid but just doesn't seem to have the effect of the v1. I have aguero and vietto up top and both struggling like anything to score and tbf the whole team are struggling to score. Am reverting back to v1 and hoping I can turn it around before I get the sack lol. But v1 very good tactic indeed

I am going to be removing v2.0 from the DL list as it doesn't perform as well as I would like. I'll be sticking with the moto of if it ain't broke don't fix it from this point forward

Hmm I feel as though people aren't setting up the man marking correctly on v2 hence why people are getting bad results. Sometimes you'll need to redo the man marking since the incorrect players are selected. Either way as long as you're getting good results then that's all that matters at the end of the day.

Man marking in v2?

Potentially but it takes away from the plug and play aspect. Maybe just removing the WM man marking will stop confusion

Man marking in v2?

The v2.0 has man marking for the F9s to mark the opposing full backs and the WMs to mark opposing wingers. It works but needs tweeting almost every game to make sure ppl are marking the right players. I will be removing the man marking from the WMs which should help as 90% of teams use full back's in some fashion

Will this tactic work in the non league system?

With the right players it can work anywhere. I'm using with Cambridge at the moment and the team is winning g the league and the team is average at best for the league

I used the V2.0 /w Newcastle all season. I will try the original next one now.

Here's a video of the tactics general faulty. Conceding from crosses. Almost exact copies of this situation has happened 28 out of 60 conceded goals and that's just in the league.

+ 1st Goals scored (85 - 2nd is Man C with 73)
+ 2nd % Possession in the League (Man C 1st)
+ 1st Headers won (67%)
+ 77% Pass completion (3rd in league)
+ FA-cup finalists (Lost on penalties to Man U)
+ Sissoko won Player of the Year

- Conceded 60 goals (15th shared with Sunderland) .....
- 19th in Crosses completed. Absolute bullocks.
- Only 6 goals from Corners

I know I should be happy with 3th, but I had a firm grip of the 1st place around January. A just slightly more tighter defense against crosses would have made my side Champions.

I cant get the cross thing sorted it seems impossible with 3 at the back. The original version of the tactic is better than the v2.0 the marking that is set messed with the overall play and feel of the tactic too much for my liking. And resulted in less goals and possession in your favour than the original. The WM aren't there to put crosses in the box as they are set to cut inside and end up being the open players for a through ball from either a F9 or one of the CMs. Only suggestion for defensive side is play quick CBS in the wider of the 3 or all three if you can get them. If you can retrain a full back to play there who is quicker that a standard. I play iorfa at CB for boro and he is outstanding and can deal with the opposing wingers early. And a suggestion to play attacking wing backs in the WM position can help defensively as well without taking anything from the attack which is awesome.

Thanks for the feedback and you will find v1 a lot better than v2.0 as it will kill teams off before they get chance to rape you down the wings and if you insist on using V2.0 I suggest turning the WM man marking but leave the F9 ones to stop the overlap
