334 PEPPER (POSSESSION + CCC = PERFECTION) #BLISS

Really promising. What are stats looking like for that in game. Does it shut the opposition down like did with me
My general feelin is that V2 is a little less possession, but feels a lot mer realiable in scoring and winning games, and thats usually the "thing" with FM. Extremely high possession-tactics(65+) usually dont generate a lot of goals. It feels like the rule of the game (or previous games at least) is: the more possesion, the more your team is passing the ball around, the less time you have for scoring and thus, the less you score.

4 games with V2 has around 55% possession, while 2 games have 60+. Very good.

Ouch!!!!!! Is that first season and with the v1 or v2.0. What players have you signed if any. Because as far as I'm aware Liverpool defence is rather weak and slow which isn't the best thing for this tactic. Majority of the time this tactic needs quick CBs especially in terms wider of the 3. I retrain full backstory to play at CBand it works a dream. If you can't find quick CBS then tall full backs are the next best thing

Yeah it's the first season with Liverpool. V2. No signings.

To be honest I think this particular match is scripted. I've just tested in with about 10 other (predominantly successful) formations / teams / pre-match comments etc and they put 3-4 past Liverpool each time minimum.

Love the work done on V2 - FM genius

Just so you are aware - the man marking on version 2 can be wrong depending on the formation you are vs.
Just double check before every match.

With my Hearts team i drew with Real Madrid 2-2 away from home in the Quarter finals of the Champions league and then lost 3-2 at home (was 2-0 should have protected the lead!).

This is by far the best FM 16 tactic at the moment and with a bit more tweaking and if someone can find a successful corner routine and throw in routine then we will have a winner!

thanks!

Away at Chelsea:
Juve: 56% possession, 15 shots, 6 on target, 4 CCC = 0 goals.
Chelsea: 44%, 12 shots, 7 on target, 3 CCC = 2 goals.

Difficult away game of course but this really classic Fm when your using a possession-tactic.

I hit the woodwork 3 times...

Edit:

I did sort of get my revenge in the second leg as I beat Chelsea 2-1. But lost on aggregate.
51%, 18 shots, 6 on target, 4 CCC = 2 goals
Chelsea had 49%, 15 shots, 5 on target and 1 CCC which was enough to score.

As I said earlier. The tactic is great, im dominating games basically but I think that unfortunatley the tactic is somehow hindering the strikers a bit too much. In big tight games like these, your team really needs the edge that only really lethal strikers can offer, and right now I feel that the tactic is suffocating its F9s. Which coincidently is what makes the tactic so great and dominating, which really makes this quite a pickle.

This being said, this is a tactic where your wingers are really thriving and excelling and Juventus wingers arent really worldclass but I still get some great ratings:

So even tho your strikers arent scoring a lot, if you have really great wingers (Neymar, Hazard, Reus, and so on) I dont see any problems at all

Typical FM rubbish - matches like that just seem to be scripted against you.

Opposition instructions: Left F9 striker needs to man mark opposition right back, right F9 striker needs to mark opposition left back. Your right winger needs to mark opposition left winger/midfielder and your left winger needs to mark opposition right winger/midfielder. You need to click on the player and set them to MAN MARK and choose the correct player.

Does take too long before a match when you get used to it.

Just wanted to chime in and say this tactic has been amazing for me.

I used it last night on my Celtic save for the first time. I had been playing with Tweebler and got very inconsistent but good results until around September and it went down hill. Was getting beat by teams bottom of the league. I played about and eventually switched to this tactic in December.

After switching, I went undefeated for the rest of the season, played well instantly but when my team got really fluid, I was winning a lot of games by at least 3 or 4 goals. A few games in particular, one of my F9's scored 4 goals in one game and 5 goals in another, beat teams by 7 goals, totally dominating. Everyone from the midfield up was all rating at least 8.0 every game.

The WM's are key to this. I played Saidy Janko and Emilio Izaguirre (Celtics RB/LB) in this position and they were awesome. Janko finished the season with I think around 20 assists and Emilio wasn't far off, both average rating for the season was around 8.1.

Very good tactic and the best I have used this year and I have tested a lot of them on my own test parameters. Great goal scoring, great defense and very consistent.

Really great feed back. Did you use the v1 or v2.0. You maybe on to something here with the wing backs on the wings. They will give you more defensive stability and are still comfortable on the wing. How many goals did they score

So my third season went much like my second. We were playing good football but we'd end up drawing when we were winning and losing when we were drawing. I'd oscillate from not being able to score to not be able to keep a clean sheet and vice versa. To be honest with you, I was about 3/4 of the way through the season and was wondering whether to jack it all in and start fresh. I decided to man up and stick with it and saw what has to be the greatest final 1/4 of a season I've seen on any FM or CM game and I've been playing them for 15 years.

I was in a relegation battle in February, then finished 3rd and won the playoffs. Unbelievable. My best player with a season average rating of 7.93 was a 1.5 star (started as 0.5 star) M/AMR called Jorge Intima. Quick but pretty **** other than that. This is what I mean about this tactic being some sort of winger hack haha.

Anyway, now I've got to work out how the **** to keep MK Dons in the PL with no money and such low club stature no one will sign.

If anyone wants any specific screenshots let me know. All I would add to this tactic at the moment is touchline shouts seem to be very strong at overcoming some of its weaknesses.

I tested the V1 in the challenge mode with atletico. I went to acomplish the saviour cometh, so I started on thhe 17th place and morale was ****.

The first game was against real madrid (they're 1st) and we won 2-1. The next two games against espanyol and fc barcelona we lost, but I think it's okey as the squad morale was really bad.

But the the magic began:

Is anyone having success with this on FM Touch? I'm getting battered on both my Liverpool and Spurs saves.

Really nice. I had a guy in previous comments state that he had wing backs in the winger slots and there might be something in it could be the difference between going up and going down let me know how you get on

Usually with tactics they get the neh sayers saying the tactic doesn't work or its **** or my favourite you've abviously cheated but this is post 176 and it's all positive. Loving the work guys keep it up and your right tat is total domination!!!!

Have we had any feedback on the wing backs situation?

I play on "touch mode" and I find that the tactic still works. Although i lost 2 and drew 2 in my final few games as Hearts manager? - it was okay because we absolutely smashed the league!

Will check when I get in from work seems quite plausable better defensively than an average winger bit still able to beat a man and get a ball in or have a strike and the atcaking side can be trained

Are you discussing player type in the wide positions i.e. Dani Alves playing there, or moving the positions to WB attack? I tried the later for a game away to Spurs as an equal-ish ability team (tactic on accomplished - first game with the tactic) and outplayed them. They only had long shots and I although I had a player sent off after 60 mins I eased to a 1-0 win

The stability of the tactic comes from the CMs but it's to try using wing backs in the winger position to be more capable at the back but not lose anything in attack. Other people have tried it and it worked really well. Gona try it this weekend and report back
