Your welcome. Follow the advice in the above post to improve the defensive side of the tactic. Scoring will never be a problem for this tactic no matter the players. In my league 2 save with Cambridge I average 62% possession and 3.2 goals per game. I am still over a goal a game conceded though

It does bring consistency to flair players. You should defiantly do better this year especially with the tactic fluid pal. On the away note. The tactic doesn't care if home or away due to the design. The tactic create's chances full stop
 
omg this tactic is just amazing. after winning the swiss league and cup a few, but always failing to get through the Group Stage of the European Champions Cup I accepted a offer from Atletico Madrid in Feb 2021 and the result were incredible.

I took them from the 7th place to securing the 3rd place without any problems (without any loss ;))

Everything done without any transfers - I am really looking forward to rebuild my squad now (they have like 10 deep-lying playmakers and no ballwinning midfielders) and buy the players we need.

Absolutely amazing results. Athletico have a monster team and adding some players will help but no matter the game or the situation the tactic will create chances. I would recommend buying in some quick CBS or get some tall full back's and retrain them because the tactic can be a bit frail at the back if possession isn't as dominant in games
 
How fast should the CB be, is it enough if +15 pace & acceleration or we need higher one?
 
I have tried Devastator, Sirgoalalot , tweebies none of them work but this one is really special one finally found the right one to use thanks for the tactic great work !!!!

Thanks man. The tactic is a beast. Took me 2 months to tweak and the results really do speak for themselves
 
Will try this tactic out. Playing roma in 2019. Got Mangala and rudriger as fast cb's :)
 
I used to help out with the Goals Galore tactic every year but I haven't been on this forum that much since. I'm properly back in to FM again and this is the third tactic I tried and had unprecedented success initially. My first season as MK Dons, signing only a couple of pretty average free transfers, I was predicted to finish 22nd in the Championship. I actually finished 1 point outside of the play offs which was because I drew the last game of the season.

I'm now in to my 3rd season with MK Dons using this tactic and here are my thoughts:

The Pros:

Possession is excellent but then again so it should be with a 5 man midfield. But certainly no complaints.

Scoring is also very high. I went a ludicrous amount of games without not scoring.

Wingers seem to absolutely thrive in this tactic. I had a huge injury crisis at one point and being MK Dons I have no money and a fairly thin squad. I was play 0.5 star wingers and they were getting an average rating of 8. In fact, in season 2 I played a very young 0.5 star for 3/4 of the season on the left wing and he finished the season as 2 star and won young player of the year.

Midfield in general is pretty strong.

The Cons:

I leak goals. I've got a decent keeper but my 3 CBs aren't amazing. However, I can't seem to not leak goals. I'm not saying 100% it's a flaw in the tactic because I haven't had 3 x 4 star CBs yet, but I buy intelligently and use CBs that have the right stats for this tactic. I can almost always tell when I'm about to concede but it's usually from a player not being picked up when a wide man plays in a cross. I'm not sure how to properly overcome this yet with 3 CBs and no DL or DR.

Disciplinary. Seriously. I get fined by the FA for having more than 6 yellow cards in a game about once every 10 games. I get a red card about the same amount and I can't seem to calm the boys down haha. I've tried to tweak it a little but without success. I think this will be reasonably easy to fix but it's a big problem at the moment.

Injuries. Not sure if it's the training, MK Dons' facilities, poor luck or FM16 but it's beyond a joke. It's like my squad have intermittent brittle bone disease.

I'm going to keep using the tactic and see what happens. Feel free to send me any tweaked versions and I'll throw it in.

The pros speak for them selves with regards to the cons. The leaky goals I have covered in a prev post but I'll go though what I have found to work. The quicker the CB in the wide CB position to the point that in my Cambridge save a have some tall converted full backs and in my boro save I have iorfa who is a full back. This tends to stop the early ball out wide and negate from there but when the ball is in our half having the players in the way they are set up is to maybe have the wingers man mark the opposition wingers and have the F9s mark the full backs in an umbrella effect as some ppl may know from my previous tactical exploits. This could solve that problem.


I am currently working on this aspect. With regards to fouls. Simple solution would be to have the players stand off the app on ens and ease off in the tackle but I would find that counter productive. If the game us watched in full match the fouls are many silly fouls but nothing to hard which results in a straight red or yellow. The higher the mental stats and in my boro save there isn't as much of an issue with this other than the middle CB is garenteed a yellow just for the sheer volume of challenges made.

With regards to injuries I think your unlucky but reducing the training could help with this. Also on this the tactic asks the wingers and CBs to perform a lot of dog work running wise covering the most ground in a game so only way to counter this would be to have 3 wingers for each side and rotate which I do with just the two play one in a game and then the other in the next should help too.

Would be preferable but not essential as the players will come inside in the final 3rd anyway but if they don't have it might an early cross in to one of the F9s drifting into the box or the winger on the otherside.

hey mate, deadline day on the winter transfer window was just crazy. Both of my strikers Rui Pedro and Donis Avdijaj have been doing really good so far.

And then ManCity bids around 90 millions 12 hours before the transfer windows closes for Rui Pedro and few hours later the same amount for Donis Avdijaj.

I wanted to get 100+ millions for a transfer so that was even a bit too much for ManCity on a winter transfer, but I guess someone is going to leave in the summer window ;)
