Very much appreciated. Just a question though, how does it work out to have relatively small strikers with traditional wingers? Say your right striker, which is a poacher, is either Vaclav Kadlec or David Villa, they are both small and in most cases all poachers are small.
The left striker almost sounds like a messi / rooney type to me, which again are not especially tall, which mean both your forwards are small.
It just seems a bit weird to me using traditional wingers if you don't have a big tall forward or perhaps that is just me? How are they playing in this tactic, do they cross most of the time from the byline or? Do they assist a lot?
Anyway, thanks for your reply once again and would love some more info from you.
They seem to assist quite a lot from either crosses or through balls, the left striker gets most assists in this formation I think. Crosses can still be effective even with a small striker as he can get inbetween the defenders and still head or the crosses can be low across the back of the defence which seems to happen quite a lot with this formation.
