I seem to get torn apart against teams that play a counter attacking strat. Any ideas on how to cope with this?

In between all the ****-chat i throw in another stupid question. Could this be used with a lower league team? Without beein smashed apart due to its offensive strategy?

thanks

Shtazian,

Can you please stop with your negative views on almost every tactic on this website all because a certain type of tactic does not work with Barcelona, does not mean it is bad. I can remember back in the 1980's 89, i think off top of my head Wimbledon beat Liverpool in the FA Cup Final playing their own tactic, wasn't pretty to watch by any means, was it a good one? For them yes a very good one. Now if Liverpool played the same way would they have won? more than likely no, they did not have the players to do so, even thou they had world class players. Now at the time Liverpool were the team to beat, like Barcelona are today.

Now just because a tactic works for one team and not another does not make it a bad one.

Last thing, playing this game as Barcelona is not a challenge, its fun yes but not hard. Its something I do when I come home from the pub, drunk, hardly standing, throw a weird, strange tactic on the pitch that SUIT THE PLAYERS and pull off wins, if I were you I would look at doing that or go give up.

enjoy

1. Guys, this game has nothig to do with the reality so stop considering yourselves Mourinho, Guardiola, Enrique...etc! There are people in this game who won UCL with Galatasaray, Benfica, Porto...etc. So examples like Wimbledon vs. Liverpool are not suitable when playing this game.
2. I play every FM only with 4 teams: FC Barcelona, Liverpool FC, AS Roma and Dortmund... Why? Because I'm a fan of this teams in the order that I mentioned.
3. I found it very boring to play with a lower league team as long as when you eventually get the promotion in the first league players like Ronaldo, Messi...etc. are retired or too old.
4. This are not MY NEGATIVE VIEWS! This are my feedbacks: good or positive as they really are!
5. As I said it before, if the creators of the tactics expect only whorshiping, than they shouldn't post the tactic, they should send it via e-mail only to their fans.

The tactic is good. The best I have used so far with Spurs.

If you don't like it mate. Don't use it. You have given your opinion and for me the conversation is over.

No need to defend yourself and waste your own time. Go try another tactic or something because you are getting boring.

I'll ask this question again... in the OP it says manual make the opposition strikers, which position is man marking them

Normally, in FM it has 2 marking type. First is Mark in the area and second tight man mark. I think if you us mark from OI it's mark in the area it means when striker come to any player area he will mark him but you can right click to our player in tactic page and edit man mark but i didn't set that because i like to mark in the area it's more flexible. ( This is what i understand but if it wrong feel free to tell me the truth) Thank you for your question.

Has anyone tried it with 2 IFS? I realize the OP says that this isn't ideal, but all my wing players have 'cuts inside from both wings' PPMs.

Started a new game with Newcastle United, currently sitting top on 21 points, played 8 won 7 and only lost to Man U. No major changes to original squad. Brilliant tactic, I have tried a few others and none come anywhere near this.

Anyone tried switching the BWM to DM position? I wonder if it could improve the defence

anyone had any look changing striker role? I've had a play but had no luck. don't have the players or money to get a complete forward

I don't understand, I can see that this is a good tactic and people get great results but I get thrashed by nearly everyone (I'm playing with Spurs) and I'm pretty sure I'm doing most things right. Players fit the roles, I manage training, coaches etc. myself.

craig, what match preperation is best? attacking, defending ect?

I dont blame you Shtazian, i blame idiot who sold you broken game. I also blame Barca for their bad politics, instead of investing money in corrupted transfers, they should give some money to SI so they make Barca unbeatable. Straight logic, isnt it? :P

Forget about FM12 and exploit tactic, forget about FM14 and danilo tactic, forget about FM15 and all corner and long throw exploits. This is FM16 where having M-N-S trio isnt good enough to win every single game. Every tactic need different kind of players.

PS. Pls leave AFC Wimbledon alone, they needed only 1 player to be strong team and that was Vinnie Jones. Such kind of player dont exist in modern football and never will again :P

I'm not speaking of UNBEATABLE tactic, but in the title says "invincible, 6343445 goals in league...etc" and when I test it, I finished 10th place in the first part of the season... with Barca... :))))))

Mate, it is only your fault! The tactic is perfect! Everyone told me the same thing (that it is my fault because I don't know how to play FM) when I posted some screenshots of my awful results using this tactic with Barcelona...
