Been using since December as Arsenal, going pretty well haven't lost yet.

Only change I've done is add Run at Defence shout and changed the AMC to AP (A), defence is looking solid aswell.

HI There , Just going to start a Spurs game using this tactic, I think this would suit the default squad ideally, I will let you know how it goes
 
i had it there and the thread got locked lol , the locked thread link is in my first post... go for it spurs does seem ideal for this i know for a fact lamela will play well for you
 
are the two wingers required to just pass the byline and cross? would an inverted player work? or a lad like cazorla?

i love this tactic, which i love arsenal too. And its work for my nc save, altough i dont get nice result like u.. But my player playing better after i use this tactic. I need to ask about striker, can we change them to be CF or something? or must on poacher mode?

change it to what ever suits your striker just keep it on attack... thanks for trying it out hope you get nice results eventually !!

to be honest allthough it says winger support meaning beat the full back and whip a cross in , the players still cut in an chip in with a few goals .. i use draxler on the left and im sure hes predominantly right footed but he cuts in and scores alot
 
Will it work using a lesser team in a lower league aswell?

The "no player instructions" thing strangely helps loads! My players are now beating their man, completing passes, and generally playing well! I think it has something to do with the AI not being able to mark a player out of the game due to the fact that he has been given absolutely no individual instructions, but maybe I'm thinking too much :P

Defensively, pretty suspect but at least I'm banging in the goals and winning games. And I don't care if I win 3-2 or 5-4 as long as I win!

Gonna keep using this tactic for the foreseeable future :)

I'm training Team Cohesion at the moment, but will switch to balanced the moment the players are willing to die for each other :P

As for OI, I generally "Mark Tightly Always" most attacking players, and if they have poor Composure/Bravery/Anticipation I'll "Close Down Always" too. Oh and I show them all to the weaker foot (unless their Preferred Foot is Either). If they have a midfielder that has poor Passing/Creativity, I'll set "Mark Tightly Never" and "Close Down Never". Since he's always open for a pass, they'll pass to him when possible, and since his Passing/Creativity is low, he'll never (well, almost never) play a decisive pass.

I set "Close Down Always" to the centre backs that are low in Composure. And show to Weaker Foot of course.

That's it really. Worked for me in FM13, and is working alright for me now.

yeah i know what ur saying about the defense , in my second season i signed a world class keeper and some fast centre backs and the defense is much better now.

for OI i let assistant manager do, all though i do have to add to it sometimes for the world class stand out players... especially hazard he is my nightmare on this game , i try to get him injured .... the training i use is default but some players get unhappy and i highten there workload to heavy
