biggest problem i have found with this tactic is that you create loads of chances but somehow never score...anyone else finding this and anyone have any hints

team talks , really get aggresive with squad during half time and after the game , also critisese your main goal scorers ... martinez podolski and theo. until the get back in form , also conduct 1 or 2 team meetings and get ur teams morale close to superb it makes a big big difference....

Started again after being sacked wit the same transfers. This results so far:

Crystal Palace (h) BPL 5-1
R. Sociedad (a) CL 0-1
Norwich (a) BPL 5-1
R. Sociedad (h) CL 1-1
Cardiff (h) BPL 4-1
Aston Villa (h) BPL 1-1

Martinez scoring some goals now 6 games 8 goals. Lets see how it goes

Been trying this with Chelsea in a new game. Works very nice but in its original form seems quite prone to a lot of goals against your team. So I've fiddeled a bit with it a turned the centre attacking midfielder into a AP (S) and the central midfielders to BMW(D) and CM (auto). This also suits my players better. Now I'm getting much less goals against which is esp. better against smaller teams in away games. But I haven't really tested it yet in away games against the big teams as I mostly use a 4-5-1 (same but with AMC becomming DMC). One thing I seem to notice is that on very long pichtes the distance between defence and midfield can get to big.

Results so far (end feb first season):
- undefeated in BPL (3 draws)
- 1/4 CL (1 loss to Dortmund in group stage, but 2 wins against Milan)
- won carling cup
- won European Super Cup
- still in FA Cup

Only really big signings: Varane & Bender. Suprise: Eto on 24 goals this season so far (haven't see Torres since I started)

Ok,this thread needs a resurrection.....too true to believe. I have been playing it with my Arsenal 1st season...6mths into it and, its still very slow. Tactics training has been brought up to fluid but still hot and cold.

Can I have an expert help me on this tactic please!

Looking for a 4-2-3-1 for my City as a backup, like Pellegrini has been using for City recently. Do you think this tactic could work for me as that?
