442 is NOT DEAD

The draw was against Man City away from home when the tactic wasn't fluid, but still unbeaten in all comps, in fact I've won every single game apart from that one- including a 5-0 win away against arsenal and this latest result....

One of the craziest matches I've ever played! I was 2-0 up in 5 mins, then Neymar scores two to bring it to 2-2 after 10 mins. Then we scored, making it 3-2 in 15 mins and then the floodgates opened up and Lukaku absolutely destroyed them with 6 goals! Good to pick up a win against my old team who are far stronger despite selling a load of the players I brought in for them. They are by far the best team in the league. I was up against Neymar, Gotze, Januzaj, Blind, Barbosa, Mata, Marquinhos, Shaw, J. Rodriguez etc.

Really enjoying this Chelsea era of my career! Don't have the strongest team, nor players I would have necessarily bought had I started the game with them, but with the likes of an aged Hazard, Lukaku and two good creative midfielders in Oscar and Isco i'ts going really well. Can't thank you for this tactic enough as it's really doing the business.

I CAN'T STOP MOVING CLUBS!!! HAHA!!! So i left Southampton for Arsenal and my first match was against the Saints...So after untold success with the new 442 i've decided to give the 523 tactic a go...and i'm initially impressed although it's early days!!!

Haha I guess it's just me and you out here promoting this tactic then...

Good start with Arsenal mate! Got some tough few fixtures ahead I see! Definitely enjoying playing the game your way now, as normally i stick with a club for 10 years and then just start a new save. Not a fan of regens though so will probs start a new game once the whole database is filled with completely unrecognizable players lol

ClarkKent, do you happen to have a 433 (with wingers) variation of this tactic?

Jimmy, number 3 in the set is a 41221 or 433 with wingers.

Yeah it does look like it's just me & thee promoting Clarks tactics...ha!

The main thing I like about these tactics is that they do exactly what they say on the tin...the 442 plays like a 442...& the time wasting tactic (based on my experiences with the 523 (W) ) sees the games out comfortably!

I used your 442 for 3 years in my Liverpool save. Had some exciting results using it. In all three years I won back to back Premier League titles, 2nd and 3th years above 100 pts. Also had great results in Championsleague. Twice had some bad luck in the semi-finals but in my last year I won it with style. Thanks for your work, had 3 very enjoyable years!!

I'm going to start a new save. As usual I will manage Liverpool. Is your 532 as good as your 442?

If the results are good I will post some screenshot later this weekend.

I just started a legends custom league. United is made for your 4-4-2. Will have some fun with that I think.
 
Just reached the halfway stage in the season....

Still in all competitions and, most importantly, unbeaten in all competitions.

Absolutely dominating the league with Icardi, Lukaku and Vietto (Brought him with me from Barcelona) banging in the goals! Hazard and Kishna have been brilliant on the wings too, with about 30 goals and assists between them so far!

Slowly putting together a good team with this tactic. I have a really good attack now but there is certainly a lot of deadwood and aged players in midfield and defence that I will need to move on and replace. Just been given 60 mil to spend in the January transfer window but debating whether I should make changes now or just wait till the end of the season for sake of team cohesion.

Using the original home tactic at home (though sometimes I use the latest Home version), and for away games I use the original home tactic set to standard.

make the changes now coz a job will come up at the end of the year & you'll want a new challenge if you win everything again! Ha!
