Games (goals total will now be in what type of competition)

League Game 23: No slowing down for this team under coach Ryan. All the strikers would score in this game. Captain Alipio (10th) would be the fourth person on the team to break the double digit mark in the league and would be the only striker not to score two goals this game. Both Rukavytysa (22nd, 23rd) and Stoykov (11th, 12th) would both enjoy their two goals as the teams success would continue.

ECC Quarter Final Leg 2: Olympique Lyonnais would be heavily favorites at home. CSKA’s winning and undefeated streak would be in the hanging. CSKA would bunker in and only one record would remain, and that would be the winning streak since they would hold Olympique Lyonnais to zero goals. While the Reds did have some shots it looked as if they were more worried to control of the game than try to stretch out their team for the win on the road.

League Game 24: It looked as if CSKA would only score three goals as they hit a drought in the second half. At the end of the game two quick goals in recession would be scored to put another five spot on the league. Tonev (4th) and Rukavytsya (24th) had one goal while hometown hero Stoykov (13th, 14th, 15th) had the hat trick. There would be a PK kick and normally Brunclik normally takes it, but Stoykov would take this one. Ribeiro with another shutout is starting to build his streak back.

Bulgarian Cup Quarter Final: Balkan felt great after the 25th minute as they would tie up the game. That feeling of happiness would end as soon as the 33rd minute came. That’s when everyone went bad and CSKA does what it does best and just pummel teams. Paulo (1st) and Stoykov (2nd) would only have one. Edu Bedia (1st, 2nd) would be the only player with two goals while Rukavytsya (3th, 4th, 5th) would end up with a hat trick. Sadly Ribeiro with that goal would end his 356 minutes of not giving up a goal. Still trying to go that elusive 500 minutes without giving up a goal.

League Game 25: Another five spot by CSKA in this game with another shutout as well. Its now a fight to see who is going to be loved by the fans more between Rukavytsya and Stoykov. Stoykov (16th, 17th) scored twice, but set a team high record in assists on the season that still has five games left. Rukavytsya (25th, 26th, 27th) has the most Man of the Match awards, scored over 50 goals on the season, and looks to repeat as league leader in goals.

ECC Semi Final Leg 1: Rematch of last year Semi Final as well. Again there is a link between these two clubs as well still even though no one has switched teams yet. Last year the record was split at 1-0-1 each with CSKA edging out on goals which lead them to winning it all. The high they are on right now (37 straight wins) looks to be straining for this one on the road in which they had to travel over 1,300 miles. “The ref had a good game, but he did fail to call a foul that would of lead us to a PK kick. Other than that it was a very interesting game in which at the end we failed to come up with a win. Hopefully this doesn’t hurt them, but makes them more hungry for the next leg at our place. Where we have been perfect all season.” said coach after a 3-1 loss. The only goal for the team came in the 23rd minute by Brunclik (5th). They been in this position last year and still came through so hopefully they can do the same this year. Still two goals in stoppage time, one in each half, is still a little hard to swallow and could of easily been a 1-1 tie.

League Game 26: Coach Ryan would give rest to six starters this game for the first time he has done that. Or well starters for the next ECC game against ManU. Only the strikers would play to make sure that there wouldn’t be a chance of a tie or even a loss. Shockingly enough only two goals were in this game and none were by a striker. Some bad news though came as Stoykov would be injured and looks to miss the rest of the year. Bedia (2nd) looked to have two goals, but the second one the goalie would barely get a hand on it. It would be defected to where Addy (1st) would score.

ECC Semi Final Leg 2: For the second straight year CSKA would do what was needed to advance to the finals of the ECC. They just needed to win by two, but they didn’t think that was good enough. They would score a third to seal the deal in the 66th minute. United did have there chances, but Ribeiro looked like a world class goalie out there. World class striker Rukavytsya (13th, 14th) would take it upon his shoulders and looks to be garnering interest from some clubs. He said he loved it at CSKA, but if it was the right club he would allow a move. Lippai (1st) would put the screws to United in the second half.

In just a little over five years coach Ryan has improved this squad, by winning a couple of tophies, but now has risen the club by breaking the 100 million mark. With rumors of big clubs coming in to knock on Ryan’s door for some players especially after his team has made the ECC finals for the second straight year. Another easy road especially when they face off against a team for the finals who is missing three of their normal starters on the team.
