Three years in and three first place finishes. Back-to-back Bulgarian Cups as well. Second straight year for the double. Wages are now increased 10K, but still looks to be problems for coach Ryan to actually start getting talent in. Not to mention losing some players and coaches looks like this rut they are in will still be there for the next couple of years. Still you can't complain winning the DOUBLE again!

Bulgarian Semi Final: “I know it wasn’t going to be a good game. One time there was an open lane to the goal and we hit it off the goal post. Every shot that should of went in hit off the post or the keeper got a hand on it. Even when they lost someone to a red we couldn’t do anything. Sometimes that’s just the way it goes. Heck the goal we scored was an own goal by them. That should basically sum it up for you.” said coach Ryan after the win in a shootout.

Team would be driven to be on top of the standings where they belong. They would be on a scoring clinic in this match. Alipio (11th, 12th) would win player of the match with his two goals. Captain Jozsef Kanta (5th) would be one of four people who also had a goal. The other three were Platini (12th), Vidanov (1st), and late sub Saidhodzha (5th). Despite giving up a goal it was an impressive rout.

Bulgarian Cup Final: Would be back to the finals for the second straight year. After a quick goal by Alipio (13th) to start things off with a bang in the first minute. If that didn’t kill the mood for Cherno more then two more goals within a thirteen minute span would. A mistake defensive would let Cherno more cut the lead to two, but it didn’t matter as they went into half with a 3-1 lead. Another two goal performance would happen for two players in this game as they would win the Cup easily. Captain Kanta (6th, 7th) and top goal scorer Gueye (27th, 28th) would do the rest of the damage for CSKA.

Another year is closing and another year the title isn’t secure for someone. It again comes down to CSKA’s last game. They hold the keys to everything. A tie keeps them in first depending how third and fourth place finish, and a win seals it by three points. A loss will give them the lowest finish under coach Ryan in his tenure. That’s right at least second place and a chance at third. After this game you would think that hometown hero, Stoykov, scored both goals. He didn’t even score one, but did get the assist on the first goal that would seal the game and the title for the Armystites. First goal was for Tonev (5th) and the goal that would end the game came at the head of Guedioura (3rd). Stoykov had a nice first touch and instead of shooting it passed it to Tonev to open up the game. “For being only seventeen he showed that he has composure and his intellect out there. I am very happy with his performance, and since the fans love him he might have a couple more starts next year. I think I might just get fired on the fact if I don’t start him a lot next year.”

Coach Ryan would get in hot water with his fans with a sale of three year starter, Platini. With the way the young strikers did with the injury to Platini it would seal his fate with his team. Another striker who was unhappy with the new signings at his position is also gone. Two strikers down to make money for how much
Alipio cost. If there is one thing coach Ryan can do is make money off of players when selling them, and bringing in players for cheap.

Platini win's it? He was injured for half the year and went like 10 games without scoring. I guess you can't have a new guy who leads the league in scoring to win it. Oh well at least next year will be a new guy. Maybe this is why the fans are upset with Ryan for selling him.

Going into the fourth year would be the first time coach Ryan would be able to get someone on loan. Still he has the ability to buy the person anytime he wants for a certain fee. Coach Ryan tried to get two people on free transfers. One was out of his price range, but just interested to see a player of his caliber without a team. Next was another one where the player signed to a different team. Had no interest to go to a Bulgarian League despite would of made 12K more in wages if he did. Lukaku is the guy who is out of range (of course) while Belaid when for the pay cut.

ECC Qual. Round 3 Leg 1: First leg would seal up moving to the playoffs as they took the lead comfortable. Coach Ryan said he would already sit some starters next leg so that no injuries happen.

Bulgarian Super Cup
: It looked like a very good game in the first half. Tied at half both teams were struggling to grab control of this game. In the second half it would belong all to the Reds as they would cruise to any easy victory and back-to-back wins of the Super Cup.

View attachment 73768

ECC Qual. Round 3 Leg 2: Coach Ryan would rest up six starters in this game. Still they would easily get past this team to move on to the playoffs.

View attachment 73770

League Game 1: Starting off the year against the #4 place team last year. If there is any indication of how the season is going to go watch out folks its going to be a crazy year. Like last year the Reds would score first only too give up a quick equalizer. Unlike last year they came firing back and in the 75th minute this game was over. Alipio had a hat trick in this game as well. Guess that 6.5 million price was a great deal. Lets just see how we do in the ECC this year with him.

View attachment 73771

League Game 2:What can you do? I am not going to get in trouble for opening my mouth again for what a horrible call. I am not going to do that cause honestly it shouldn’t of happened. We had one minute of stoppage time and they get a PK late in the 91st minute. We had the ball and kicked it out after the 91:30 mark and still they got another chance.

View attachment 73773

ECC Playoff Leg 1: Coach Ryan would pluck their best midfielder, but maybe he should of got the other one since he put in the first goal of the game. While it was a shaky start and a disappointing last game they got their grounding and started to play the game they knew how. They would go into half winning 2-1, and after losing their best defender at half to an injury would concede a goal to end with a tie. “It’s a little disappointing when you let them have five shots and still end the game tied.” Obaje (3rd) and Alipio (1st) would get on the goal sheet for the team.

View attachment 73774

League Game 3: Looks as if the team chemistry is getting messed up with all the new influx of players on the team. Another game that they had the lead and let it sleep from three points to just one. Obaje (4th, 5th) is up to reclaim the top goal scorer for the team.

View attachment 73772

ECC Playoff Leg 2: In the closest playoff race for coach Ryan came through when they needed it and luckily this game was at home. Gueye (2nd) would get it started off with a bang. He was relieved when it finally when in since it broke a 424 minute scoreless streak. Halftime sub Payne (1st) would seal the game. They would get a late score but would advance with a 4-3 aggregate.

Games Recaps (goals will now be in what type of competition)

View attachment 73810View attachment 73800

League Game 4: Coach Ryan is still shuffling with his lineup and its starting to cost them as they fail to win another league game after a wonderful start of the season. Tonev (1st) tied up the game in the second half, but after a gift header where Ribeiro was out of position (when does that happen?) sealed CSKA fate.

View attachment 73809

League Game 5: Only the second home game so far. Sitting in tenth place it looked as if things might start off bad again if they can’t turn it around. Against a team they are suppose to win they won big. A PK kick by captain Kanta (2nd) in the second minute. Defender Stoyanov (2nd) towered over a guy to head in the ball. Paulinho (1st) got his first goal on a thirty yard screamer. Strikers Obaje (4th) and Gueye (1st) would finish off the scoring in a total dominating match.

View attachment 73808

ECC Ranger Leg 1: Rangers would be close to heavy favorites in this one. CSKA didn’t care if they were in a slump or underdogs they came out and played like they were the favorites. CSKA would dominate the first half although they would concede the first goal and go into half 1-1. Gueye (3rd) would be the only score in the first half. Second half it would be pinball heaven for the Reds. Obaje (4th, 5th) would score twice by hitting it off the woodwork to score. It looked as if the game would end in a tie with a late equalizer by Bougherra, but a quick response by Obaje on a counter attack would seal the win for his team.

View attachment 73807

League Game 6: It looks as if the two team squad coach Ryan uses is starting to pay off. Third straight game where they scored over three goals, and yes I been giving half a team a rest after a game, and this would be no different as they would dominate. Alipio (4th, 5th) would break his 395 minute scoreless streak today. It would go back to the first leg of the ECC playoff. Obaje (5th) wouldn’t let Alipio lead the team in goals for the league as he continues his hot scoring streak. Other striker Gueye (2nd) would get in on the scoring as well. The last scorer was Guedioura (1st) to finish off the high scoring attack.

View attachment 73806

League Game 7: First time under coach Ryan has his team held the opposition to just one shot. Of course that shot was off target. So it came down to the lads in front of their home crowd to score at least once. You think they should with 28 shots, and they would score three goals. New signing Martin Brunclik (1st, 2nd) open up the scoring while team leader Obaje (6th) would finish it off as they posted a shutout in front of the home crowd.

One more win in the ECC and they will survive the group stages. Team is getting younger and better it seems. Also the league they are atop the league once again where has been over two years since they been this high up. Three games this month and they came out with a 3-0-0 record. More impressive is the ten goals this month. They only concede three goals while posting one shutout. Chemistry is finally set in for this team after a rocky start.

Games Recaps (goals total will now be in what type of competition)

View attachment 73844

ECC Red Star Leg 1: The tandem of Gueye (4th) and Alipio (2nd, 3rd) would strike fast for CSKA to help push them to their second win in the group stage. The winner though would come on Payne (2nd) shot in the 82 minute to seal the win. Red Start got lucky with an own goal by Ribeiro to keep them in competitive in the first half.

View attachment 73845View attachment 73836View attachment 73837

League Game 8: Alipio (6th, 7th) is tearing up the league and right now he is carrying his team up the standings (now in first place). The defense is starting to click for the Reds, but it has to be a little worrisome for coach Ryan when they gave up a goal on only four shots.

View attachment 73846View attachment 73838

League Game 9: All that CSKA does now is just score. If they keep this scoring of more than 3 a game they have a good chance of getting 100 goals in the league. Still that seems very difficult, but for now Armeytsite are just enjoying their success. This game wouldn’t be any different. Sure they were suppose to win, and they would post a shutout, but for the third straight game they held their opponents to under ten shots. Paulo (1st, 2nd) would snap his 420 minutes drought for his new team. Alipio (8th) and Obaje (7th) would be duking it out to see who will be the top lead scorer for this year in “A” group.

View attachment 73847
ECC Real Madrid Leg 1: By the look on coach Ryan’s face after the game you think his team won. While they got dominated the whole game he had this to say. “Real Madrid is one of the two teams that are expected to win this tournament. Last two years we played against Barcelona, another title favorite, and we couldn’t score a goal in the four games we played. First leg against Madrid and we scored a goal. We hit the lowest point the last two year and now we are starting to find confidence that we can compete with the top teams in the world. Small steps, small steps.” Goal came from a PK and Paulo (1st) scored it in the 21st minute.

View attachment 73848View attachment 73841

League Game 10: Super sub and hometown hero Stoykov (1st) got the start and the first goal of the game. Another scoreless streak ends with 377 minutes for a CSKA player. Obaje (8th, 9th) would make it a 2-nil game and looked as if the rout was on. Not so fast though as Slavia would tie up the game heading into half. Obaje second goal of the game and Tonev (2nd) goal in the second half would give them the game. This game another under 10 shot performance, but this time it was by CSKA.

Welcome past the group stages CSKA for the third straight year. CSKA is still tearing it up in the league. While we are only up by eight points its the more impressive 46 goals in just 15 games. While giving up a lot of goals last year in certain games the defense is finally playing up to par with the offense as they have the least amount of goals scored in the league.

Games (goals total will now be in what type of competition)

View attachment 73855View attachment 73849

League Game 12: Armystite getting back on track with its three goal game again in league play. Chavdar would help them out in the 29th minute as they would pick up a straight red. Alipio (9th, 10th) would score two goals in this game and would be the league leader in “A” as he is the first person to ten goals. Chaydar would help out CSKA even more as they would give them a PK kick in which Stoykov (1st) would finish off the game.

View attachment 73858

Bulgarian Cup Round 2: Coach Ryan would bench all three of his starting strikers to give them a rest. “With the ECC and league games we aren’t worried that much about the Bulgarian Cup. I mean I would like to win it for the third straight year, but the fans and I want to advance more in the ECC than anything. Something has to give and right now in the middle of the week it has to be this.” With the chemistry change the first half was a little rocky for the Reds since they were tied 0-0. Still the second half everything started to fall in place as the new players got their feet wet and pulled out the victory still. Goals by Orlinov (1st), who is unhappy about his lack of playing time, and two goals by hometown hero Stoykov (1st, 2nd) sealed the game for the Reds.

View attachment 73859

League Game 13: With the starters back for the league game up top it looked as if the rest was helpful since they looked very restful and Obaje (10th, 11th) would overtake Alipio for top goal scorer for the league. Guedioura (1st) as the team would post another shutout and CSKA starting to pull away from the pack.

View attachment 73860

League Game 14: The race is on! Alipio (11th) and Obaje (12th) are fighting for the top person for most goals scored this year in the league. While these two keep scoring means trouble for opposing teams and this time it was against Loko. No one seems to find a way to score now against this new look back line for the Reds and again post a shutout.

View attachment 73861

ECC Rangers Leg 2: Rangers would be under more pressure than CSKA even though one win will put them pass the group stages. Rangers need a win to stay alive and are slight underdogs in this game. Rangers would be the first to score and looked to have the upper hand despite letting CSKA have more shots on goal. Rangers would gift a goal on a stupid mental breakdown in the box that gave captain Kanta (2nd) a free shot from the penalty spot. After half it would be Obaje (4th, 5th) to take the game over and seal everyone’s fate in the ECC. Real Madrid and CSKA are now moving on. “With the win we are thinking about resting some starters in the next game before the knockout stages so that everyone is healthy and rested for that to start. Hopefully we don’t face Barcelona for the third time."

View attachment 73862View attachment 73853

League Game 15: Captain Kanta (4th) scored 30 yards out on a free kick to open up the game with a bang. They wouldn’t slow down either in the first half when Lazaro (1st) would get the start at midfield this game instead of defensive midfielder like usual. Gueye (3rd, 4th) would finish off the scoring in the first half. He would also be the only regular starter to play in this game. Reason behind it was to try to get him back on the scoring track which he did and ended his 666 minute drought.

While the wins are piling up for CSKA in the ECC so is the money. Plus how coach Ryan has now managed the wages for this club better than anyone has ever had in the past the club see’s more money for this club. The Board loves Adam Ryan and seeing that coach Ryan likes to bring in talent they decided to give him a little more money for transfer funds. It’s the second consecutive year the Board has done this. Looks like now they can buy the two guys on loan for good and also maybe bring in another player or so.

Finally leg was against Red Star in a non-important game. They got another tough draw in the first round of the knockout, Juventus, but hey at least its not Barcelona. League with two months off will be good, but they will have to be sharp when they face off against the second place team when the break is over. While people though Adam Ryan would buy people he was actually quiet and didn't sign anyone or sell anyone.
Games (goals total will now be in what type of competition)

View attachment 73871

Bulgarian Cup Round 3: CSKA would try its hardest at losing this game. They would have great vision on their passes. They would be wonderfully skillful until the final third. When they came they seemed as if it was all about taking shots right at the goalie in which they would not score on any of their twenty-four shots. In the second half they would even make things more interesting when the captain would pick up his second yellow to lose a man. It would go to a shootout where finally CSKA would score and Ribeiro would only allow one goal on three shots.
View attachment 73872

ECC Red Star Leg 2: Coach Ryan already advance through the group stages and with that he has decided to rest most of his starters. With Obaje and Alipio getting the last game off they were the only attackers who got the start today. With that the chemistry was a little messed up and being slight underdogs his team performed well for the first 80 minutes. They would finally lose, but still the results didn’t really matter. What wasn’t the best is now that Ribeiro got a red card and will miss the next ECC game.

As the team stature grows so does the wages. Now we see when not bringing in money from the ECC looks like on the books. Not bad, but they need to start doing better in the ECC to start bringing in top players. Sure it makes for more wages, but more money if they do better in the ECC. Plus it will bring more people to the stadium.

The nine point lead CSKA has in first is the highest they ever had it under coach Ryan. It looks as if they have already wrapped up the season, but normally when they start off the year good it’s the end where they go into a slump. Only three teams are +10 in goal differential and CSKA has a staggering +39 on the year. They had another solid month scoring six goals and only giving up one in three games.

Games (goals total will now be in what type of competition)

View attachment 74037

League Game 16: While the first half was sloppy and uneventful, what do you expect with a month break, it wouldn’t be until the second half to actually start watching this game. It looked as if the three goals a game average was in jeopardy after a first half of that. Still it wouldn’t be until Alipio (12th) and Obaje (13th, 14th) would get the fans on their feet. Even with the win it was very sloppy and it shown as CSKA only had 42 percent of possession of the game. Still winning against the #2 team in the conference has to be a good sign for this club.

View attachment 74038View attachment 74042

League Game 17: This game wouldn’t be pretty for the Reds. First they were behind 1-0 before what seemed to be before the whistle to start the game was over. Then Pirin would even go down two men in the 54th minute and still the Reds couldn’t score. Finally at the end they made a dent, but with a tie it still seems as if they loss. Maybe the new signing wasn’t the best thing and actually hurt this team. Chemistry again is in question.

View attachment 74036View attachment 74043

ECC Knockout Leg 1: Losing their starting goalkeeper this game it looked as if it would be a very difficult game. Their backup should be on the under-19 club, but he was called up to be the starter for this game. The home fans saw this as a loss and was hoping for the best.CSKA looked good with a new formation, all defense, to give the new goalie some more defense. First half they would be rock solid as they would end up tie at half. Second half got a little worst. Two double yellows for two players went down to nine men. With that it only took eight more minutes for Juventus to score. Juventus would loss one player to a straight red make it a little interesting. With four minutes of stoggage time they only needed three of them for CSKA to score to tie up the game. While the fans were going crazy for the impossible tie it would be a bitter ended as Melo would score in six minutes of stoppage time (what happen to that four minutes?) to give CSKA the loss.

View attachment 74040View attachment 74044View attachment 74045

League Game 18: The Reds were actual slight underdogs in this league game for the first time all year. While they didn’t have the best offensive attack this game, 9 shots, they did manage to score two goals. Both of them were by Alipio (14th, 15th) in which they posted another shutout.

Another month where they went undefeated with a 5-0-0. Looks as if they won't be breaking the 100 goal mark this year, although the new players if they stay healthy next year they just might. With just seven games left and having 13 point lead it looks as if have clinched first place for the fourth straight game.

League Game 19: Armeytsite would again bring in its second sqaud after the ECC game and again the first half would be trying to get all the players to play on the same page. Halftime would come and it would be nil-nil. Second half would finally get together and the scoring would come in droves. Gueye (5th) would get them on the board first. Next was Rukavytsya (1st, 2nd) would score his first goals for his new team in just his second game. After a double yellow for Baez Cherno more could finally crack this defense to score a goal. Rukavytsya should of scored his hat trick, but the refs would give it an own goal so he would stay at two goals for the game.

View attachment 74072View attachment 74063

League Game 20: “I disagree with most of those calls. We had two people get red cards and one was a straight up red. They had a bunch of hard challenges and hardly got a yellow card. He would barely touch a guy they would flop and it was a yellow or red.” said coach Ryan after a 1-1 tie. Even when they were down a man they still were able to score at the hand of Rukavytsya (3rd).

ECC Knockout Leg 2: They needed a win and at least score two goal to have a chance to advance past the furthest they ever been in the ECC. Again the red cards would come out in this game. However before the first red card would come out their would be a goal by Juventus. Six minutes later the first red card would come on a breakaway by CSKA. It would be in the box which would give them some life with a goal by Obaje (9th) right before half. After another goal by Juventus it looked as if the game is over. Hometown hero Stoykov (1st) would score off of a header in which Jeventus though climbed over the back. With just three minutes of stoppage time it looked all, but over but then Stoykov (2nd) would come through and would hit one on off the post to win the game for CSKA.

View attachment 74071

League Game 21: With injuries to CSKA they went to defensively this game. Their wouldn’t be three goals this game, but hometown favorite Stoykov (4th) would be the only score in this game. While the game was sloppy the team still came away with three points in this one and haven’t lost a league game in seventeen games now.

View attachment 74068View attachment 74064

League Game 22: Alipio (16th) would start things up in the first half. Brunclik (3rd) who has finally been healthy made his appearance after his lengthy absence. They didn’t need much offense for this team as Chernomorets only had five shots on goal. Captain for the Reds is expected to miss the rest of the season due to an injury.

View attachment 74069View attachment 74065

League Game 23: Another shutout makes it 303 minutes for Ribeiro hasn’t allowed a goal. Offense is slowing down, but still winning games. Goals from Iliev (2nd) who ended a 477 minute scoreless sheet, but also got injured, and one from Paulo (3rd) was enough to give CSKA the win.

League Standings

View attachment 74099

With nine games this month, only four league games though, they managed a 2-0-2 record this month. It didn’t matter much about the record or the final three games next month cause they already sealed up the league. Coach Ryan has already stated since they are out of the ECC that he will be resting most starters now until the Bulgarian Cup.

Games (goals total will now be in what type of competition)

View attachment 74105

ECC Quarter Final Leg 1: Another red card (Lazaro) in the second half would open up the scoring for Panathinaikos. One of those was even a PK kick. Problem was for Panathinaikos was that before the red card they would score three goals. One was by Lazaro (1st). Stoykov got another start due to suspensions and injuries failed to score a goal this game though to end his four game scoring streak. Gueye (5th) and Bedia (2nd) would give them a slight edge going into the second leg.

View attachment 74108

League Game 24: Coach Ryan would actually start a starter who needed a rest, due to the fact the next game is an ECC game, in hopes to having his normal starters rested for that game. The nineteen game winning streak in “A” play would end this game as they couldn’t manage to keep the chemistry going with new squad this game. Rukavytsya (4th) would help this team not be shut out this game.

View attachment 74107

ECC Quarter Final Leg 2: Armeytsite did all they needed to for the tie. That’s what they were aiming for and that’s what they got. While everyone thought there would be goals scored by both teams in this one Armeytsite decided to go all defensively like they did against Juventus first game and came out with a scoreless tie.

View attachment 74106

League Game 25: Two goals each by Alipio (16th, 17th) and Rukavytsya (5th, 6th) would have this game in hand. A lone goal by Slavia would ensure not the shutout, but coach Ryan was just happy to get back on the winning ways in the league especially knowing the now its going to get tough with both the Bulgarian Cup and ECC Semi Final coming up as well.

View attachment 74100View attachment 74088

Bulgarian Cup Quarter Final: CSKA would spot the opposing team two goals early in the first half. Which would be forever since they would allow two goals in a game it would seem. They would start to finally played when they were down and would finally make the comeback in the second half when they took the lead with the score 3-2. In the end it would be again two goals from both Alipio (2nd, 3rd) and Rukavytsya (1st, 2nd) to help push them into the Semi’s now.

View attachment 74098View attachment 74089

League Game 26: “I was disappointed in how the team played today. I am not that upset about losing, but how we dominated the game, but still let them dictate how the game was played.” CSKA would tie up the game, but would lose it in stoppage time. Gueye (1st) would be the only scorer for CSKA. Even with the loss they managed to seal up first place with four games left in the league.

View attachment 74101

ECC Semi Final Leg 1: With some of the new guys not making the ECC roster it put a damper on things as they came in after the registration. It looks as if the improbably run will end as soon as they play the second leg. Another ECC game though and another red card. With the good run it looks as if next year they will continue to make the push in the ECC.

View attachment 74102View attachment 74090

League Game 27: With the league wrapped up coach Ryan would let some of his starters rest, but kept some of them in just in case of a glimmer hope of them coming back and winning the Semi’s in the ECC. Alipio (18th) would finally get his team on the books. Paulo who would finally get a start would chip in two goals (4th, 5th) to help his team win another game. Now with the winning of the league now its all about how much they are going to win the game by.

View attachment 74103

ECC Semi Final Leg 2: Things looked to be going good early for the team as Obaje (6th) would break down the double team and sneak one past the goalie to start off the game for CSKA. That would be the only good play for the fans of the home team. Three more goals were scored in the game, but it would be all by Chelsea which would end the fairytale run of the Armeytsite in the ECC.

League Standings

Three league games, a 3-0-0 record, and each game they won 3-0. They missed the 100 goal mark, but did score the most in the league (24 over second) and the least amount of goals (1 over second). This is the first time in four years that the league wasn’t decided by the last game of the year as they had a easy 18 point lead over second place. With the additions to this team and with a new transfer budget coming up it looks as if CSKA will be atop for many years. The real question is can they do well in the ECC and continue their success from this year.

Games (goals total will now be in what type of competition)

View attachment 74154

League Game 28: Another three goal sighting by the CSKA. This one would be more impressive than most other games since they had the majority of their starters on the bench in this one. Another red card would be issued in this game and luckily it wasn’t for CSKA. Rukavytsya (7th, 8th) is enjoying life in the Bulgarian league and bigger clubs have taken an interest in him. Dimitrov (1st) in his first appearance would get his first goal of the season.

View attachment 74155
Bulgarian Semi Cup: Second game all season to where CSKA was slight underdogs. Again they would dominate the game. This time it would be a shutout with another four games. Obaje (3rd), Alipio (4th), and two by Rukavytsya (3rd, 4th) would push CSKA into the finals for the Bulgarian Final for the third straight year.

View attachment 74153

League Game 29: Another three spot for the Reds this game. Another shutout puts Ribeiro now at 270 minutes without giving up a goal. Guedioura (3rd), Iliev (2nd), and Rukavytsya (9th) were the scorers. Still another red card in this game in which two of those goals came after. Some fans were a little upset about the lack of goals after the man down, but again Adam Ryan said “a win is a win.”

View attachment 74151View attachment 74137View attachment 74138

Bulgarian Cup Finals: The first half would be a wild shootout. Every time Armeytsite scored Cherno more would rocket a shot out of twenty yards away to tie it up each time. Second half the nuts and bolts would finally get tighten down on defense and they started to pull away. Third straight game a red card, actually two, would be given in this game and both would be for Armeytsite. Still they would be up to the challenge and would end up winning the cup for the third straight year. Goals from Obaje (4th, 5th) and Rukavytsya (5th, 6th) sealed up the win.

View attachment 74149

League Game 30: Final game of the season and it wouldn’t be a let down for the supporters. They would see another shutout with another three goal performance. Stoykov (5th) would be glad to get his goal since that would snap a 695 minute scoreless streak. Guedioura (4th) and Alipio (20th) would finish off the scoring as Alipio would be second in scoring in “A” league this year.

Coach Ryan decided it was tie to sell one of his most productive players on the defensive side. The board is worried about the last three years of teams wanting to buy him and what it was doing to the club. While he was only worth 1.8 million coach Ryan said he could go for 5.5 million which is the highest funds every received by the club under coach Ryan. While fifteen teams put in bids only two of them offered at the asking price. One of those was accept and will be off the team as soon as the new year starts.

CSKA moves up to second for the drawing in the ECC. They enter the drawing facing off against Chelsea who beat them last year in the Quarter Finals last year. ECC Qual’s 3 Leg 1: CSKA has never loss in the qualifying rounds under coach Ryan. This wouldn’t be any different as it was a breeze.

View attachment 74760View attachment 74779View attachment 74781View attachment 74782

Bulgarian Super Cup: A couple of injuries from this game has starting to put fans in a frenzy of wanting more players brought in. Coach Ryan said they will keep their options open, but even with the injuries CSKA is just too good for the league and they showed it with an easy victory.

View attachment 74761View attachment 74778

ECC Qual’s 3 Leg 2: A hat trick wasn’t needed but the fans loved it. With that they moved on to the Playoffs in the ECC where they will meet the Young Boys.

View attachment 74762

League Game 1: Coach Ryan wasn’t liking that he couldn’t run his starting lineup due to injuries. It looked as if they would struggle, especially when a striker was playing on the defensive line, early on as they gave up a quick goal. Still the firepower from Rukavytsya (1st, 2nd) who was the only starting striker healthy to play would push the team to the win with two goals.

View attachment 74763

League Game 2: This wouldn’t be a pretty game for Dunav. At the start of the whistle Stephanotis (1st) wouldn’t waste any time scoring for his new team as he scored in the first minute. Five minutes later from massive pressure in the final third Sheehan (1st) scored on a PK kick. Since a defender and a striker scored the next goal the midfield didn’t want to be left out so Brunclik (1st) scored to open up the second half. Rukavytsya (3rd, 4th) looks to seal up the scoring title for “A” league this year with two more goals. CSKA would score another goal which would count, but the ref said it would be an own goal to stop Stoykov from getting his first goal on the year.

View attachment 74764

ECC Playoff Leg 1: Last two years they had trouble in one game when it came to the playoffs. They would always win out and make it into the ECC. This year they would make the first game go off without a hitch as they would post an easy 2-0 win.

View attachment 74765

League Game 3: First half was very sloppy for Armeytsite. Luckily they manage to score one goal in the first half. New acquire midfielder Paulo Cesar (1st) started the game off of a free kick. “We needed that goal. Some players were having an off day today and I felt if we went into half tie we could of ended up the game tied or even lost it.” Luckily that didn’t happen and Rukavytsya (5th) didn’t score two goals this game, but sealed the win with the second goal of the game. Ribeiro posted his second straight shutout in the league.

View attachment 74766

ECC Playoff Leg 2: The Reds wouldn’t try to do too much in this game. While they had the handle on the game they didn’t look to score, but just hold the lead. With that mentality they held Young Boys scoreless. On the opposite side they couldn’t score either, but win the playoff from the 2-0 win from leg one.

View attachment 74767

League Game 4: With the third straight shutout by Ribeiro in league play it now has led Ribeiro to 392 minutes without conceding a goal. Rukavytsya would move over to the left side this game, normally center, and got back on track with two goals (6th, 7th) that would be plenty in this game for the win. Still Bedia (1st) wanted in on the fun as they have two less goals than total shots by Levski in this game.

With the signing of a top striker it meant that at least one, maybe more strikers on the team would be sold. Right now only one would sold and it was Iliev who looked good as an under 20 player for coach Ryan, but never broken out. Still at 24 still hasn’t reached his peak, but his value was going down since he wasn’t getting a lot of playing time and though this was the best time to sell him.

People wanted defense to come in. Coach Ryan said he didn’t want to spend more than 10 million on a player. He would spend the bank this year on another striker, he sure loves his striker, and this one was worth a whopping 16 million. While it looks like it might be a bad decision and a striker or so might be sold off. Although no one will bring in that much money who isn’t a starter. Rumor had it that Rangers wanted Rukavytsya and offered 12.5 million for him, but the coach said it wasn’t time for him to go since he hasn’t been on the team for a year. Even with that big deal they still signed a defender, Paulo Cesar, who can play midfield as well.

Three league games and they would go 3-0-0 and would outscore their opponents 11-1. Right now CSKA is trying to have a better goal differential than points in the league. Right now after seven games they are tied at 21 at piece. Despite the high scoring (24) there are also two other teams with 20 goals so far. Looks as if CSKA has a good chance at repeating for least amount of goals scored.

Games (goals total will now be in what type of competition)

View attachment 74946

League Game 5: In a very sloppy game for CSKA, again, it looked as if it would end at least in a tie. A miss penalty kick by Paulo in the first half lead both teams to be tied at half. While they dominated the game they couldn’t see to put it in. Sliven had less shots, but seemed to have better chances on goal. Finally late in the second half CSKA would get lucky as it would be the second game they would get an own goal from the opposing team. This would be bigger than that the last one since it would be the only goal of the game. Ribeiro makes it now four straight league games with a shutout and moves it up to 482 minutes.

View attachment 74947

ECC Austria Wien Leg 1: Scouts thought this game would be a close one with some injuries to CSKA. That wouldn’t be the case as the backup strikers, who were starters the last couple of years, came in and are making a good case to be back in the starting formation. Obaje didn’t score but did manage to get two assists. Gueye (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th) lead the way. The last goal was just the icing on the top as he took the penalty kick that Obaje set up.

View attachment 74948

League Game 6: Ribeiro streak without giving up a goal would end last game at the hands of Austria Wien in the ECC. However theleague streak would end this game after four games, and for Litex goalie Kamdem his streak of 211 minutes would come to an end as well. Alipio (1st) would end his 712 minute scoreless mark in this game. He stated after the game that the rumors about bigger clubs wanting his was effecting his play, but is glad he found the back of the net today. Rukavystsya (8th, 9th) got back on track and it took only just four minutes to score both of those goals. Paulo (2nd) and Stepanovic (1st) to finish off the scoring.

View attachment 74949

League Game 7: The scoring wouldn’t be in short supply for this game either. For the fans thinking Stephanotis (2nd, 3rd) wasn going to disrupt chemistry can put those thoughts to rest with his two goals and an assist. Rukavytsya (10th) would be the first person in “A” to get to ten goals and while he only had one he was more looking like the facilitator than goal scoring machine. Alipio (2nd) was having a terrible game and right when he was about to get sub out he would score on a screamer right inside the box. Defender Vidanov (1st) coming back from injury put in the final and last touch to the scoring puzzle for the Reds this game.
