Month starts excellently but got worse at the end, which was not good...

------------------------------

View attachment 398187

View attachment 398185

MOTM: Hatem Ben Arfa (Newcastle United)

Decided to put a strong team out here to ensure we got our month of to a good start which we did as we dominated Cardiff and they really did not put up much of a fight with just 37% possession and 3 shots!

------------------------------

View attachment 398178

View attachment 398177

MOTM: Moussa Sissoko (Newcastle United)

So my choice to play a backup side nearly backfired here as we only just managed to win! For the first time in a while we actually weren't the much stronger side as it was probably quite an even game and West Ham probably deserved a draw so I am pleased with the lads in that aspect that we got the win!

------------------------------

View attachment 398173

View attachment 398172

MOTM: Kevin Volland (Newcastle United)

So for us to ensure we got into the knockouts we basically had to win. Which we did, in excellent fashion! Was thinking before this game that Volland has not really been in great form this season with just 4 goals in 12 start but he shut me up after this performance! Excellent goals from him and ensured we went through to the knockout stages, where as you will see later on we got a very helpful draw for us to keep going!

------------------------------

View attachment 398167

View attachment 398165

MOTM: Danny Welbeck (Newcastle United)

I never had any worries about this game and I was always sure we would win and get into the final! It probably helped us that all of their players were on 60%ish fitness at the start of the game but I doubt it would have helped them much as we completely dominated them (58% possession and 36 shots to their 1 shot), so we are now into the final where we will play Flamengo!

------------------------------

View attachment 398162

View attachment 398161

MOTM: Mohamed Salah (Newcastle United)

More silverware!! Even though Flamengo are a good side I still wasn't worried and I even though it was 0-0 at half time we were battering them and I was always sure we would get the win and we did! Thats cup win number 2 this season as we are still on to get 3 more cups and titles! (League, Champions League, FA Cup!)

After this win I received this email...

View attachment 398159

I am now officially one of the best English managers! Yaaaaay! And I am sure that I will be able to take the title of Best from Bob Paisley eventually!

------------------------------

View attachment 398155

View attachment 398154

MOTM: Hatem Ben Arfa (Newcastle United)

What. A. Game.

It was absolutely incredible and defintiely the most exciting game for us this season! Very end to end game with lots of shots, goals and as you can see, tackles flying in! We did incredible to hang on and to even get the winning goal after Santon was sent off as Arsenal hammered us! But we went defensive and stood strong!

------------------------------

View attachment 398150

View attachment 398144

MOTM: Luke Shaw (Newcastle United)

So this was the big game that we kind of had to win... and to be honest... it was quite boring. Only 12 shots all game and 50% possession kind of showed neither of us really dared to go for it due to the threat of counter attacks... means race for number 1 is still wide open!

------------------------------

View attachment 398142

View attachment 398140

MOTM: Andriy Yarmolenko (Liverpool)

This could be the result that stops us from winning the title. We were really poor in this game and definitely deserved to lose, so of course I was not happy at all after this result and gave the players a bollocking! Luckily Welbeck is only out for a week as well.

------------------------------

League

View attachment 398136

So we started off well in the league this month with the wins against Cardiff, West Ham and Arsenal. But the loss to Liverpool has hurt us as we are now in 3rd and 9 points behind Chelsea. We do have 2 games in hand but even if we win them we are going to be 3 points behind! We are going to have to be in excellent form for the rest of the season and hope Chelsea slip up for us to have a chance of winning the title!

Champions Cup

View attachment 398133

So with that big win against Fiorentina we go through the group in 1st! Overall I was quite surprised we lost 2 games but I am still pleased we managed to go through! Now with our lucky draw...

View attachment 398131

I definitely think we got the luck of the draw as I believe we probably got one of the easiest teams we could have got! Definitely think we can make it through to the next round and will be able to do it strongly!

------------------------------

Best Player of December

View attachment 398126

Ryan Gauld

With all the squad rotation I did in December it was quite hard to pick just one player... but eventually I decided on Ryan Gauld! He is really starting to develop and stand out as one of our better players as he provides us with 1 goal and 2 assists and was also awarded this...

View attachment 398120

So I think this definitely backs up my choice as he is awarded Europes Golden Boy which I think he does deserve!

------------------------------

Next Update

So as it is now January it means the next update will be of any transfer activity!

We have a transfer budget of 20 Million and a wage Budget of 160k available so there is likely to be some players coming in and I also have some players I will be selling due to various reasons!

January Transfer

So there was one player I wanted to get rid of as he didn't really play and when he did he was not good, and another player left due to him aging and also a pretty decent offer coming in.

One player was brought in now and a deal tied up for someone to come in at the end of the season.

Lets see what cracked off!

Current

View attachment 397896

So Tiote left for what I think is a good fee of 10 Million as he never really played and was just sitting, draining money from us via wages.

Debuchy has also left for 5 Million as I think that was a good fee for a back up right back who is 30!

Now coming in now there was one player...

View attachment 397892

View attachment 397891

Mateo Kovacic

Kovacic is an excellent young player and I have been following him ever since I joined Newcastle. I was even close to signing him in the summer but I chose Romero instead. Really happy to bring him in and I cannot wait to see him form what I am sure will be an excellent partnership with Romero who will be my midfield duo for a long time to come I am sure!

Future

View attachment 397889

So January of course means a lot of players only have 6 months left on their contracts and we can come in now and tie up deals for foreign players, and we tied up a deal for a great youngster!

View attachment 397887

View attachment 397886

Thiago Casasola

We managed to tie up a deal to bring in this youngster from Barcelona at the end of the season who I am so happy to be bringing in! I have been watching him, like Kovacic, ever since I joined and since he joined Barce I never really got a chance to get him before now. He will most likely not feature for us next season and I will loan him out so he can get the first team experience he needs to develop!

------------------------------

Summary

So overall I am very pleased with bringing in Kovacic and Casasola and also with the fees I got for Tiote and Debuchy.

Very happy with where our squad is at now with the only issue now being that we only have Mayke at RB but luckily we have the likes of Santon and Marquinhos who can easily cover that position!

Squad is looking gooood!

View attachment 397879

------------------------------

Other Transfers

January

View attachment 397877

PSG with a lot of transfer activity as they bring in 4 players for a total of 63.75 Million! Some excellent players as well!

February

View attachment 397872

Man City quite active on deadline day as they bring in 2 players for a combines 29.5 Million!

------------------------------

Next Update

Next up will be the update for January where we have had an excellent month and things are looking more promising and better for us!

January

View attachment 397862

Excellent month!!!!!!!!!!!

------------------------------

View attachment 397861

View attachment 397860

MOTM: Ryan Gauld (Newcastle United)

Never had a doubt that we wouldn't win as we get an easy win with my back up side as Millwall (Who are actually a feeder team of ours!) never stood a chance and only managed 2 shots and 29% possession! So we should have probably won by more than 3 but still, not going to complain! We now have Chesterfield away in the 4th round, easy win!

------------------------------

View attachment 397858

View attachment 397857

MOTM: Ross Barkley (Newcastle United)

We were very lucky to win this as even though we became the better side after they scored, after we scored jesus christ they brought it to us and we were really lucky they didn't score! So very pleased we managed to hold on and pleased with got a point!

------------------------------

View attachment 397853

View attachment 397852

MOTM: Ryan Gauld (Newcastle United)

My back up side is in excellent form again and some of them are definitely pushing to get into my first team... Gauld! He had an amazing game with a goal and two assists to get us a very good win we definitely deserved!

------------------------------

View attachment 397850

View attachment 397849

MOTM: Ross Barkley (Newcastle United)

God I love destroying Derby... they just did not have a chance at all, we were always the better side right from the start and apart from the odd shot they had on the break they really did not pose much of a threat.

------------------------------

View attachment 397843

View attachment 397841

MOTM: Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa (Newcastle United)

This was a very close game which we probably did deserve the win in the end as we were the slightly the better side.

------------------------------

View attachment 397831

View attachment 397830

MOTM: Ryan Gauld (Newcastle United)

Decided to field a strong side which clearly showed as we just tore Wolves apart and they showed us why they were bottom at the time of this game! They managed just 2 shots all game but even though they had more possession, 51%, they did not do anything when they had it!

------------------------------

View attachment 397827

View attachment 397826

MOTM: Kevin Volland (Newcastle United)

I am very disappointed with this. Even though we got the win our finishing was incredibly horrid as we managed just 6 of our 28 shots on target!! I mean we got the win but it should have been a lot more comfortable! We will now be playing Brentford at Home in the 5th round... definitely should be another win! Liking this run we are getting!

------------------------------

View attachment 397825

View attachment 397824

MOTM: Luke Shaw (Newcastle United)

Close game which probably should have ended in a draw but we got lucky and caught Stoke off guard in the first couple of minutes with a great attack but after that we both sat back and neither dared to attack... not going to complain!

------------------------------

View attachment 397810

View attachment 397809

MOTM: Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa (Newcastle United)

Easy win where we put in another excellent performance as we managed 33 shots and Swansea had.... 0! Thats right they did not manage a single shot on our goal... not even a long one, great way to end the month with a great win!

------------------------------

League

View attachment 397805

The excellent month and some lucky results has worked out perfectly for us! We did what we had to to get level on points with Chelsea but also because they drew with Arsenal and lost to Villa we are now only in 2nd due to goal difference! Come on!!!

------------------------------

Best Player of January

View attachment 397804

Luke Shaw

He has had another excellent month for us as he put in some excellent performances, especially against Derby and also chipped in with an assist against Swansea! Lovely! His great performances also got him this...

View attachment 397802

Another young player award for the excellent left back!
------------------------------

Other Award

Mohamed Salah picked this up...

View attachment 397800

Didn't actually see this as I was busy but think this is actually the first time one of my players has got this award! Wooo!

February

View attachment 397635

Great form continues!

------------------------------

View attachment 397634

View attachment 397633

MOTM: Moussa Sissoko (Newcastle United)

Another good win, we should have won by more but still 2-0 is a good scoreline to win by!

------------------------------

View attachment 397632

View attachment 397630

MOTM: David De Gea (Newcastle United)

We would have won this if it wasn't for De Gea being in such good form! He was the reason why we lost as be really could have at least got a draw.

------------------------------

View attachment 397623

View attachment 397622

MOTM: Mateo Kovacic (Newcastle United)

We won but it should have been a lot more comfortable as even my back up side tore Brentford apart. We are now through to the 6th Round where we will play scummy Nottingham Forest!

------------------------------

View attachment 397621

View attachment 397620

MOTM: Sandro (Newcastle United)

We were quite lucky to win this as Tottenham were quite good this game, as were we, and so it should have really been a draw but luckily for us they couldn't finish at all!

------------------------------

View attachment 397619

View attachment 397618

MOTM: Ryan Gauld (Newcastle United)

What an action packed game! 28 shots, 5 goals, 8 yellow cards, 2 reds, 1 injury... what a game it would have been for neutrals watching! We definitely deserved the win as we were the much better side and now go into the 2nd leg with a 4-1 lead... think its easy to say we are through to the next round!

------------------------------

View attachment 397616

View attachment 397615

MOTM: Ross Barkley (Newcastle United)

Before this game Gary Bowyer (Everton Manager) was basically an absolute T&*T to me making bad comments about the squad and how we were lucky to be where we are so it felt so good to get a strong win over them! Shut him right up!

------------------------------

League

View attachment 397614

Yes! We are top!!!!!!!!!! 5 points clear and even though Chelsea have a game in hand, even if they win it we will still be 2 points clear! I am sure that we can hold on to it for the remaining 9 games!

Champions League

View attachment 397612

So after the first leg of games being played, the only real surprise in my opinion is that Atletico beat PSG 4-0! Majority of teams are going into the 2nd legs with good leads, including us and will surely be through to the next round!

The main man up top is back in good form! 4 goals and 1 assist in a very good month for him and for the club and hopefully he can keep it up coming into the final stretch!

We just keep on playing excellently!

Also there is a fixture missing off this list of the Villa game as it our Champions League quarter final game and I don't want to ruin who we have!

------------------------------

View attachment 397595

View attachment 397594

MOTM: Ryan Gauld (Newcastle United)

This was actually quite a tough game but we did do enough to probably deserve the win! Ryan Gauld was just incredible this game with 3 goals and an assist!

------------------------------

View attachment 397592

View attachment 397591

MOTM: Mohamed Salah (Newcastle United)

We won but I wish we had beaten them by more like the stats suggest we should have! Still a win though and now we are through to the quarter final where we will be playing Man Utd in the Semi Final! The other draw is Liverpool vs Burnley.

------------------------------

View attachment 397590

View attachment 397589

MOTM: Kevin Volland (Newcastle United)

Quite disappointed we conceded in this as Reading really did not deserve a goal as they were quite poor and we were excellent!

------------------------------

View attachment 397588

View attachment 397587

MOTM: Lucas Romero (Newcastle United)

Literally exactly like the last game versus Reading where we didn't deserve to concede but overall we got a very dominant win as we won 7-2 on aggregate! And now for the quarter final draw...

View attachment 397586

We have Real Madrid! All the teams in the tournament are very strong so it will get tough from now! Also 2 other English sides left in the tournament so possibly another all English final!

------------------------------

View attachment 397585

View attachment 397583

MOTM: Nicklas Helenius (Aston Villa)

Cannot believe we messed up a 2-0 lead and lost it in the very last minute! Was very annoyed with this result and made sure the players knew about it after!

------------------------------

View attachment 397582

View attachment 397581

MOTM: Lucas Romero (Newcastle United)

This is the game missing off the fixtures list as I didn't want to ruin it for you! We did very well to win this as Madrid were the better side but we took full advantage of our chances so we get to head into the 2nd leg with a lead!

------------------------------

League

View attachment 397576

So we are still top by 3 points but it looks like the draw with Villa could have cost us because if Chelsea win their game in hand they will go top! Although we do still have Chelsea to play in 2nd to last game of the season so I have a feeling that will be the game that decides who wins!

Champions League

View attachment 397574

Looking promising for at least 3 teams to be English in the semi final! I predict that Barcelona, Chelsea, Man Utd and us (Newcastle United) will be there 4 teams in the semis!

Lucas Romero

Lucas had a great month for us and was the main reason we beat Madrid as he provided a goal and an assist! Hopefully he can play this well next month and help us in many different ways as next month we can get into the Champions League Semi Final, the FA Cup Final and also be still in the race for 1st!

Next Update

The next update will be of the first half of April as after that we have some very big games which can decide whether the club will win cups or the league!

Also for the rest of this season there will be no results fixture list viewable at the start of the updates as so it doesn't ruin the results of these big fixtures!

And believe me... after the first half of April... some of these games are huge!

At the end of the first half of April update there will be a fixture list showing our remaining games.

April - 1st to 16th

Of course no fixture result list so I don't spoil things right from the start!

-----
-------------------------

View attachment 397511

View attachment 397510

MOTM: Luke Shaw (Newcastle United)

No idea how we only once this by one goal and a penalty at that! As we were completely all over Cardiff and deserved to win by more!

------------------------------

View attachment 397509

View attachment 397508

MOTM: Lucas Romero (Newcastle United)

We were very lucky to win this as Madrid totally started to destroy us after Vollands penalty but we held strong and did enough to ensure we would go through to the Semi Final! Here are the other results from this round...

View attachment 397507

So it looks like there will be at least one English team in the final, hopefully us!

------------------------------

View attachment 397506

View attachment 397505

MOTM: Edinson Cavani (Manchester United)

So we did not really deserve to lose like this... as it was quite an even end to end game, only difference being that Utd... well more specifically Cavani took his chances and put us out the cup. Suppose this does give us the opportunity to focus on the league and champions league though!

------------------------------

View attachment 397504

View attachment 397503

MOTM: Eder Alvarez Balanta (Newcastle United)

Another one of our strong dominant wins as we play West Ham off the park and they did not have a chance to ensure we can keep up with the opportunity to win the league!

------------------------------

View attachment 397502

View attachment 397501

MOTM: Kevin Volland (Newcastle United)

So in our final game before the big end to the season we get another good win as Wolves showed why they are 20th and likely to go down as they did not really put up much of a fight and with us beating them this happened...

View attachment 397500

Ooopsy! Sorry Wolves! Bye Bye!

------------------------------

League

View attachment 397499

So with just 3 games remaining we are top by 2 points by as you will see at the end we have some rediculously tough games coming up! We are going to have to be playing the best we can to ensure we win the league!

Champions Cup

View attachment 397498

So we have been drawn against our title rivals Chelsea!!!!

That is 2 more big games added to our fixture list and makes our final run in even tougher!!

------------------------------

Best Player of April (1st to 16th)

View attachment 397497

Kevin Volland

He has had a great first half of the month with 4 goals, an assist and a Man of the Match award, I really hope he keeps up this form as he could easily win us these final games on his own!

------------------------------

Remaining Fixtures

View attachment 397494

I literally do not think these fixtures could have been any harder... we play Chelsea 3 times, twice in the champions league and what I think will be the decider in the league! Also Man City are Arsenal are going to be incredibly hard games as well so we could easily go from being to win both the league and champions league to finishing the season without either which would suck!

------------------------------

Next Update

I will do the remaining fixtures in single updates to help leave some suspense!

Newcastle United vs. Chelsea

Champions League Semi Final Leg 1

View attachment 397492

MOTM: Ross Barkley (Newcastle United)

Just look at this win! We absolute tore Chelsea apart in what has to have been our best ever performance since I took over! Surely that books our place in the final! Also with Vollands hat trick he achieved this...

View attachment 397491

Top goalscorer in a season ever in the Champions League which I think is incredible!

This was the result from the other tie...

View attachment 397490

Looking quite likely that it will be us playing Barcelona in the final unless there are 2 shock results!

------------------------------

Up Next

So the next update will be our league clash with Manchester City as we hope to go on to win the title... come on!

Manchester City vs. Newcastle United

Premier League

View attachment 397483

MOTM: Coutinho (Man City)

So if you look at the stats you can see why I am surprised we won like we did! Not that I am going to complain though as it is a win we need in our run for the title, very pleased!

Also other good things happened...

View attachment 397482

Chelsea messed up against Everton! We are now 5 points clear of Chelsea meaning that if we win 1 of our 2 remaining games we have won the title! Wooo!

Also proud to announce Derby have been relegated! What a shame...!

-----
-------------------------

Next Update

Up next will be the update for the 2nd leg of the Champions League Semi Final... will not be fielding full strength as due to the 7-1 win the 1st leg I don't really have to worry about us not getting to the Final!

Chelsea vs. Newcastle United
(1 - 7)

Champions League Semi Final Leg 2

View attachment 397480

MOTM: Javier Hernandez (Chelsea)

Even though we lost we are still through to the Final! We probably should have won this leg as well and would have got a draw if Borini did not sky his penalty, but still, it does not matter!

View attachment 397479

Manchester United could only manage a draw meaning it will not be an all English Final as we shall come head to head with Barcelona (who we played and beat last season in the knockout round) with the tie being played at the Millennium Stadium!

View attachment 397478

------------------------------
Next Update

Next up will be the league clash with Chelsea... remember if we win we win the league! Come on!!

Chelsea vs. Newcastle United

Premier League

View attachment 397477

MOTM: Andre Ayew (Chelsea)

Uh oh... seems like the previous defeat of us has fired them up as they beat us in a game which we definitely did not deserve to lose! I mean we had as many shots and target as they had shots overall! ****.

View attachment 397476

So we are now only 2 points clear with 1 game left... we have to face Arsenal and they face Reading, so we need to basically assume they are going to win... BUT! If we manage a draw and they only win 1-0 we would still be champions! Cannot see that happening though so we need to win basically.

------------------------------

Next Update

So of course the next update will be the final league versus Arsenal which will decided whether we or Chelsea win the league.... lets hope its us!

Newcastle United vs. Arsenal
Half Time

Premier League

View attachment 397475

So just after half time things are looking good as we hold a 2-1 lead and are looking the much better side! We definitely need to ensure we keep this up and win though as Chelsea are winning 4-2!

Newcastle United vs. Arsenal
Full Time

Premier League

So with us leading 2-1 at half time and Chelsea winning 4-2... it meant at that time we were still on track to be crowned the champions of the premier league... well the 2nd half...

I dont know how to say...

View attachment 397474

MOTM: Ross Barkley (Newcastle United)

We went on, scored another and got the win! After an excellent performance from Ross Barkley we did what was needed of us as we get the win that ensures we are the league champions!

View attachment 397473

And we only just did it as Chelsea won their game as well! But for a while it was still just between us 2 but we were the teams who managed to do it!

WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

We have now won every competition available to us except 2... the FA Cup and the Euro Cup (Although we won the Champions League anyway so...)!

Up next will be our game with Barcelona to see if we are able to retain our European Crown!

Barcelona vs. Newcastle United

Champions League Final

View attachment 397445

MOTM: Neymar (Barcelona)

So we were unable to retain the cup and lost in extra time... its not even that annoying as Barcelona are a good team, what is annoying is the way we did it as we were the better side in my opinion and it should have at least gone to penalties! But to be honest if I had the choice between the league and the champions league I would choose the league anyway so...

We will come back stronger next season!

------------------------------

Next Updates

So that is it! The season has come to an end and what a good season it has been! We win the league and 2 cups!

Next updates will be the usual end of season updates in regards of the club, England and the rest of Europe!

End of Season Review - Newcastle United

So as usual up first is the fixture list!

View attachment 397424

So as you can apart from our little drop in form over September, other than that we have literally been incredible as we tended to go on incredible runs of form, lose a game, then go on another incredible run! Definitely I think down to the fact that my back up players were also very good and perfectly able to perform! Also like last season, our longest streak without a win was just 4 games which is amazing!

------------------------------

Squad

View attachment 397423

Everyone except Anita managed a rating above 7 which is amazing and obviously shows that we weren't relying on just specific players to help win us games as everyone contributed!

Also good to see we didn't just rely on one person to score goals for us as even though Volland scored 31, Borini and Welbeck contributed with 17, Barkley with 16 and Gauld with 15! So happy that we have multiple players who can score for us!

------------------------------

Summary

All in all we had an absolutely excellent season and I really hope that we can play this well next season!

End of Season Review - Premier League

This update will be looking at what teams were promoted, relegated and who finished where in the Premier League!

Premier League

View attachment 397404

So as you already know we won the league! With Chelsea, Man Utd and Man City being the teams who filled the other remaining Champions League places!

Also if you remember we relegated Wolves, and alongside them, Derby and Reading will be heading down to the Championship!

The biggest surprise in my opinion being Everton finishing down in 15th!

Premier League Stats

End of Season Review - Rest of England

Now to see what cracked off in the rest of England!

Championship

View attachment 397391

So our rivals Sunderland who were relegated at the end of the 2013/14 season make a return to the Premier League as do Leicester and Watford after they were relegated last season.

Ipswich, Charlton and Barnsley are the 3 teams that will be dropping in to League 1!

League 1

View attachment 397390

Yeovil and Birmingham make a return to the Championship and will be joined by Brentford while Crewe, Stevenage, Walsall and Colchester will be the 4 teams dropping down in to league 2!
League 2

View attachment 397389

So looks like Portsmouth are trying to make a return to what they used to be as they are now promoted into League 1, alongside Swindon, Accrington Stanley and Luton!

Looks like bad times for Braintree and Northampton as they are the 2 teams dropping out of the football league!

Quite a surprise as Forest went on to win the Capital One Cup after beating Swansea in the final... quite a shock that is with them beating Chelsea on the way to the final!

FA Cup

Manchester United won the FA Cup as they beat Liverpool in the final, and quite upsetting is the fact that they beat us on the way to the final! ****!

Community Shield

An all Manchester final saw the red side come out happier after the final whistle after they win the Community Shield!

Next Update

Next will be the update regarding the rest of Europes leagues and cups!

End of Season Review - Europe

And finally the reviews end with a final look at what else happened throughout Europe!
Leagues

France - Ligue 1

View attachment 397383

So AS Monaco ran away with the league as they won it by 17 points! Quite shocked at how bad PSG did especially with how much they spent!

Germany - Bundesliga

View attachment 397377

Bayern take back the title after Dortmund won it in the past 2 seasons as they win the league by 11 points!

Italy - Serie A

View attachment 397373

Juventus win the league for the 5th season in a row as they easily win the league by 11 points! Fiorentina appear to have dropped off a bit now as they end the season in 4th.

Spain - Liga BBVA

View attachment 397371

So the title switches to the other giant in Spain again as Madrid only just win the league by 3 points... looks like it was a very close and entertaining season!

Cups

Champions League

View attachment 397370

So as you already know we lost in the final to Barcelona and from the looks of it they also had a very good run up to the final as they put 5 past Man City, 7 past Fiorentina and 4 past Man Utd so well done to them!

Euro Cup

View attachment 397369

So Juventus added to their league win by also winning the Euro Cup! They also had some good wins on the way there as they ended up scoring 20 goals in 4 games!

Super Cup

View attachment 397367

Of course you already know this as we won the Super Cup with a very strong convincing win over Arsenal!

Next Update

So that is it for this season... it is over! Now we are heading into the next season with the following aims:

- Challenge for the league title
- Reach Semi final of every cup

Safe to say my aims are pretty simple... basically to outdo ourselves!

With the right transfer I believe we can do this!

Next update, unless there any surprises etc. will be at the start of pre-season!

Start of Pre-Season

Our friendly fixtures have been organised...

These are all very easy teams and we should be able to register some very dominant wins against them!

Squad

So this is the squad we are heading into the next season with...

Looking very good!

Current/Transfers

GK: So very happy with ter Stegen and Baumann as back up but may look into bringing in a younger back up who has room to develop so Baumann may leave.

RB: Of course very happy with Mayke but will need to bring in someone else, maybe someone who can challenge him for first choice.

LB: Very happy with Shaw and Santon so no improvements needed here.

CB: So very happy with our centre backs but there is interest in Yanga-Mbiwa and if the right offer comes in he may leaves and there are 1 or 2 players I have looked at recently the would come in to replace him if he leaves.

CM: Of course happy with this but Anita was not brilliant last season as he was our worst rating player so it is likely he will leave and I do have a couple of targets in mind to bring in to replace him.

AMR: Very happy with this set up but if a good offer comes in for either of them or I find someone I want to bring, one may leave, whether that is Ben Arfa permanently or Salah on loan I am not sure.

AML: No one needed here thats for sure as Sterling and especially Gauld are excellent and this position will be theirs for years to come.

AMC: Of course Barkley is excellent but could probably do with a back up player as Ingram will go out on loan again and Vuckic is not good enough standard.

ST: So of course Volland is just... excellent and will remain first choice, Borini may leave as he declined over the summer and we could make some good money from him, same for Welbeck really so another ST is likely to be brought in, Vydra most likely will go out on loan again

Summary: So a few positions need to be boosted with backups and challenging players, but I will also be looking to bring in a good amount of youngsters for the future who will be loaned on straight after being brought in to get first team experience they require!
