European Championship

So during this summer the European Championship took place and England did quite well...

View attachment 397258

They won the entire tournament!!!!! Absolutely incredible!

Roy Hodgson decided to leave his post after winning the tournament... definitely be applying!

New England Manager

So with Hodgson leaving his post it left the position of England manager open...

And the new England manager is...

View attachment 397252

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer!

I did apply but apparently I only had an outside chance... ****!

End of Pre-Season

So before we started I predicted that we would be able to win every game... and...

View attachment 397150

We did! We had some very strong wins against the likes of Millwall and Havre and then also some good matches against Gladbach and Sampdoria, where I gave some young players a chance and we still came out with the wins!

These games included a lot of my new transfers (there has been a fair few!) and they all performed very well and are looking ready for the new season!

------------------------------

Next Update

If I remember correctly, like last time, before the transfer window closes, the Champions Cup draw is made, so that will be my next update!

Moore Goes International!

So after being unsuccessful with an application for the England managers job after it went to Solskjaer, Moore went on the hunt for another International job and came across one which he was offered...

Moore has become the manager of the team England beat in the European Championship Final...

Spain!

View attachment 397012

I have been given the expectations of easily qualifying from our Group in the world cup... but I think we can at least make the quarter finals, especially with this squad!

View attachment 397009

Still incredibly strong and definitely has to be one of the best in the world still!

Good thing about being an International Manager... can easily see good future players without having to scout haha!!

So wondering if people are interested in hearing about the Spain side or not? :)

Feedback pleeeease? :P

I have a question about your current Spain side....

Y U NO HAVE TORRES?!

Champions Cup Group Draw

So the groups have been drawn... lets have a look!

View attachment 396924

So just like last season, a lot of the groups seem to hand 2 stand out teams who will fight it out for the 1st place, and then 2 other teams who will fight it out for 3rd... except Group E... have to feel sorry for Grasshoppers!

So you can see we are drawn with Barcelona, Sporting and APOEL... why did we have to be drawn with the team we lost in the final to! Not fair! But I still think we can make it out of the group in 1st as we have beaten them before! And we should easily beat Sporting and APOEL.

My Predictions:

Just looked at how my predictions were for last season and...

In the whole thing I only got 2 teams wrong that went through!

View attachment 396923 View attachment 396921

Only ones I got wrong were Bordeaux went through over Shakhtar in Group E and Anderlecht went through over Juventus in Group G!

Time to see if I can be that accurate this season!

I think they are good predictions, we shall see next season if these were right!

Up next, unless anything else happens, will be the transfer update... and there has been ALOT!

Transfer Update!

Okay... so I have decided that I am going to be doing this in 3 separate updates due to the high amount of players that I have brought in!

These updates will be:

Current Players - Players that have been brought in to feature for the squad now

Youth/Loan Out Transfers - This will consist of players that have been brought in that are young and are now either on youth contracts or have been loaned out

Future Players - Players where deals have been agreed for them but they cannot join yet (foreign age rulings)

-----
-------------------------

So here are the transfers overall:

Completed:

Future:

------------------------------

Next update will be the current transfers!

Transfer Update - Current Transfers

So here they are... the people I have brought in to hopefully help us have another great season!

View attachment 396764

5 main players left over the season which means there were a fair few holes to fill, therefore 8 players have been brought in!

Lets start at the very back shall we!

GK:

I saw this guy and wanted to bring him in straight away, Ter Stegen is still my first choice, but Baumann will be leaving as soon as possible with this new guy becoming my main back up.

View attachment 396763

Jeronimo Rulli

View attachment 396762

An excellent young goalkeeper who still has room to grow! He will first of all be back up to ter Stegen but you never know, if he performs well he may be able to push and I could end up having to constantly rotate the 2!

RB:

Now with Debuchy leaving last January I spent the back end up last season with just Mayke, so I made sure I brought in a capable RB to back up and also challenge Mayke (who has had a lot of interest in him with bids of 20+ Million from clubs such as Bayern and Barcelona! All rejected of course!)

View attachment 396761

Gino Peruzzi

View attachment 396760

2nd Argentinian to join our ranks this summer as we bring Peruzzi in for just 7.5 Million. I already have great confidence he will be good for us and will be a player who can challenge Mayke!

LB:

No one brought in as perfectly happy with Santon and Shaw!

CB:

With Yanga-Mbiwa leaving for a wopping 31 Million, I thought it would be a good idea to bring someone else in! 2 great young players come in to challenge for those 2 first choices!

View attachment 396757 View attachment 396755

Thiago Casasola | Jonathan Tah

View attachment 396754 View attachment 396753

Of course you already knew about Casasola as his deal was tied up in January, but the other newcomer is Tah, a big German powerhouse who I believe was an absolute bargain at 6.75 Million! Can see Tah challenging for a first choice but I think Casasola may leave on loan for this season.

CM:

As Anita was sold and Thorne left on loan, this left my quite short handed in the middle of the park, so I brought in a player who I think will be excellent now, and for many years to come!

View attachment 396750

Nabil Bentaleb

View attachment 396749

At just 21 I think he is already a fantastic player which is why I paid 22.5 Million for him. He will definitely be a main choice for me this season but with already having Romero and Kovacic, he has a lot to do to prove he deserves it!

AMR:

In the end I decided Salah just wasn't up to my standard anymore and thought it would be a good idea to bring someone in who is good now but also has a lot of room to grow and develop... step up...

View attachment 396746

Alen Halilovic

View attachment 396744

An absolutely class young winger who I can definitely see challenging Ben Arfa for first choice, especially with Ben Arfa into his 30's now, Halilovic is definitely the future right winger for this team.

AMC:

Thought Barkley was exceptional last season but thought it would be a good idea to bring someone in who can provide back up but also challenge him for first choice... in came...

View attachment 396742

Ravel Morrison

View attachment 396740

Another class young English midfielder is brought in, and he is definitely capable of challenging Barkley! Had to fight the likes of Man Utd and Man City to sign him, but he chose us and I am glad he did!

AML:

Perfectly happy with Gauld and Sterling here, definitely will not need to sign someone in this position for a while to come!

ST:

Well with Borini leaving for a whopping 26 Million, 23.5 Million profit! This left us short handed with just Welbeck as Vydra has gone out on loan again, and when I saw how good this young man already is and the potential he has... I just had to have him!

View attachment 551344

Richairo Zivkovic

View attachment 396734

Even though they got 30 Million for him, I believe Bayern have made a big mistake in letting him go to us as he is already a very good player and will most likely be my 2nd choice behind Volland (Welbeck 3rd) but he also has the potential in my opinion to become one of the best in the world! Really cant wait to see him play!

------------------------------
Summary

So overall I am very happy with my transfer dealings, especially with the how cheap I got the likes of Tah, Peruzzi and Halilovic, all of who have the ability to be great players, but also how much I managed to get for the likes of Anita, Borini and Yanga-Mbiwa, all of who were becoming back up choices!

------------------------------

Next Update

So up next will be the update regarding the younger players for the future that have come in, including ones that have been loaned straight out as well!

Transfer Update - Youth Players

So this includes all the players who are more youth players and aren't likely to feature for me for a few years yet, including the few that have been loaned out to get the experience they need.

View attachment 396732

So first coming in was...

View attachment 396731

Mark Maxted

A good young centre back who defintily has a promising future. At 16 and already playing for the u19s, he clearly has great talent, will most likely be loaned out so he gets the experience he needs.

------------------------------

View attachment 396730

Thomas Halabi

Predicted to be even better than Maxted, as another young English left back joins our club, already playing for the U21s at 16 which I think is incredible and can definitely see him challenging Shaw for first choice in a few years! Will go out on loan when possible.

------------------------------

View attachment 396729

Tarkan Harrison

Another young Englishman, this one a CM and also already features for the u19s. Was happy he was able to go out on loan to Doncaster where he is already in their first team, good looking future for this kid!

------------------------------

View attachment 396728

Ismael Extebarria

One of the most promising youngsters around, currently in the Spain u21 squad, and as current Spain manager I can definitely see a positive future for this kid, will definitely be loaned out to get the experience he needs to become the great player he can become!

------------------------------

Now the most promising and best of the lot in my opinion...

View attachment 396727

Riccardo Uccelli

I had to fight with some of the best teams in the world to get this guy (Barce, Madrid, Bayern, PSG, Man Utd, and many more) and I so happy he came to us! An absolutely incredible player at 19 and he is already in the Switzerland first team and already has 6 first team caps! He is out on loan at Atletico Madrid for the season where he is already a first choice in their squad!

------------------------------

Finally coming in....

View attachment 396726

Marcel Kaiser

Another incredible young German goalkeeper joins our ranks and was an absolute bargain at 1.5 Million! Will definitely be my future goalkeeping choice when he is good enough and can definitely see him becoming back up to Ter Stegen in a few years!!

------------------------------

Summary

So I am definitely happy with these youngsters being brought in, all of them have exceptional potential and will all become great players for us in the future, I am sure of it.

Obviously as some are on youth contracts they cannot go out on loan but as soon as they are 17 they will go out on loan to get the 1st team experience they require to develop!

------------------------------

Next Update

The next update will be of players we have agreed deals for but cannot join due to being too young... stupid age rules!

Transfer Update - Future Transfers

So now finally onto the players we have deals sorted for but cannot join yet due to age rulings!

View attachment 396723

Only 2 players! Both look very good and promising though and at least where they are they get play time!

View attachment 396722

Alejandro Jair Trevino

A good looking centre back who will be joining us on the 1st January 2017, looks very promising as well and at 17 he already has 7 caps for the Mexico u20's! Will be loaned out straight away when he comes here so he can get the play time he needs to develop!

------------------------------

View attachment 396721

Tayfun Acar

Another very exciting looking prospect who will be joining us on 9th June 2017 and I cannot wait for him to join us! Has the potential to be an amazing player and will be loaned out also!

------------------------------

Summary

So that is the end of the transfer update, I cannot wait to see how these players develop and perform for us this season!

------------------------------

Next Update

My next update shall be of how we got on in August where we played Manchester United in the Community Shield, and also had our first 3 premier league games!

Transfer Update - World

Almost forgot to do this! Show you who else was bought in the world by other clubs!

June

View attachment 396720

PSG being big spenders again as they spend 52 Million on 2 players, probably hoping they don't do as bad in the league as they did last season! (3rd) Also as you can see I got the majority of my transfers done early!

July

View attachment 396719

So this month it was Madrid who were the big spenders as they spent 61.5 Million on Yanga-Mbiwa and Suarez... 2 incredible transfers who are added to the galacticos squad!

August

View attachment 396718

So this month we were the biggest spenders! But some very good players going to teams such as Fischer to Barce and Lucas Digne to Man City!

August

Perfect start to the season!

View attachment 396713

View attachment 396712

MOTM: Adnan Januzaj (Manchester United)

So we started out season off brilliantly as we won another piece of Silverware in the form of the Community Shield! Man Utd will be annoyed as they were probably the better side but we did well to come out with the win! Yes!

------------------------------

View attachment 396710

View attachment 396709

MOTM: Ross Barkley (Newcastle United)

Probably should have won this game a lot more convincingly than this, but still a good win! Slightly disappointed that we were not able to hold on for the clean sheet though!

------------------------------

View attachment 396708

View attachment 396707

MOTM: Kevin Volland (Newcastle United)

Another very strong performance where this was probably the right outcome as we were very good and deserved the strong win but Cardiff also played well enough to at least get a goal!

------------------------------

View attachment 396706

View attachment 396704

MOTM: Alen Halilovic (Newcastle United)

And we top off a great month with an incredibly performance against Stoke as we completely played them off the park and I was very happy to see all 4 of our goals were scored by new players! Lovely!

------------------------------

League

View attachment 396698

So after our excellent month we sit in 1st already and I hope we can keep this position for the rest of the season... we definitely have the ability to! Our 3 great league wins got me this...

View attachment 396695

1st Manager of the Month award this season! This I am sure will be my first of many!

------------------------------

Best Player of August

View attachment 396694

Ross Barkley

Ross was in great form this month as he scored 2 goals and provided 2 assists as well! Morrison is going to have to do a lot to get the chance to play over Barkley!

Spain - World Cup Qualifying Group

So we are about to have our first fixtures as Spain manager... they will be in our qualifying group for the 2018 World Cup!

This is our group...

View attachment 396693

We should definitely be able to qualify through this group, very easily as well!

I will do quick updates to show our progress in matches!
