The winning run goes on. Hearts gave us some worrying moments, however.


SPL

Motherwell get some point some the board. The story of the season so far is Celtic. What is going on with our usually closest rivals


Champions League

We fought on with 10 men for over 80 minutes to win at home against PSG. In our 2nd game, Man Utd had the lead and were taking advantage of our terrible start. We had equalised before Man Utd got a red card which was the biggest factor in our late rally of goals.


Scotland

A defeat in Germany wasn't tragic. The draw in Ireland was.​

Fixtures

We have our toughest game of the season away to Rangers predictably right after a tough Champions League away day but they were in the same boat. Were also on the way to the League Cup final next month where we could reach 100 league games unbeaten.


SPL

Celtic pull themselves together at last. Dundee Utd still having a slow start. Ayr meanwhile may have their best-ever start

We are still perfect despite a scare in Leipzig and worse of all in the thrashing of Maccabi Tel Aviv Guner got injured for another 3 months less than 5 minutes into his comeback


Scotland

Everyone was rotating players bet good results in any case but we won't be retaining the Nations League​

The game was won in the 1st half winning a 3rd league cup on the bounce and 6th in 7 races.

One of our best months ever with thrashing Celtuc & Hibs with 6 clean sheets along the way.

Our first defeat of the season. Juve was the better team and their squad is worryingly hitting its top-form​

Fixtures

The perfect domestic run ends at Parkhead with a 1-1 draw. We should have scored plenty more when 1-0 up but leaves us waiting another year to try that achievement


SPL

The gap at the top is still 20 points. Celtic are sneaking up on Rangers for 2nd while Dundee Utds Champions League form has not happened in the league. Motherwell to the shock of nobody look in trouble.

We finish with 2 wins


Table

We top the table and Celtic join us in the last 16. Dundee Utd are in the playoffs and Rangers finish in 30th and are out.

Fixtures

We kicked off the shortest month of the year in dominating form which totally fell off a cliff needing an 89th-minute winner to get past 10-man Rangers. Ayr then held us till the last 15 minutes. Youngsters got another run out against Forfar and impressed again. Some will be going right into the 1st team next term.

Celtic and Rangers are tied for 2nd while Dundee Utd have come storming back up the table after the Scottish Cup and Champions League exits

Fixtures

SPL

Its 9 in a row! This has a 100% record of the team going for 10 in a row and losing the title. Celtic in the 60s, Rangers in the 90s, and Celtic in the 2010s

Back to the league and we do have some things to settle. Rangers and Celtic are still fighting over 2nd place as they have been for most of the season. Dundee Utd and Hibs are fighting for 4th and the Europa League spot and behind them is a 3-team fight for 6th and a Europa Conference spot. Motherwell are rooted to the bottom and will almost certainly go down again. Queens Park & Kilmarnock are tied for the playoff moment.

The youth and backup players come out to play and stay unbeaten for a month.

Ranges won the race to 2nd place and Dundee Utd got the Europa League spot. Killie spent the whole split 1 point behind either Hearts or Queens Park. Of course, they end the season 1 point behind both and drop to the playoffs.

PSG led twice and i thought that our run of success was over. One man who didn't was the oft-injured Andy MacIver who did manage to stay fit tonight and score the two goals that got us into a 3rd final in a row

In the final were looking to make it 3 Champions League wins in a row against the last team to do so. Real Madrid who beat Bayern on penalties to reach the final​

We dominate the biggest game of the year. Madrid was torn to shreds in the first half. They pulled one back but the game was long lost and we scored a 4th rather than the 15-time champions getting back into the game.​

SPL - Winner
Aberdeen hit the much cursed 9 titles in a row but this team is the best Scottish side ever. Rangers & Celtic go toe to toe all season for 2nd place and the improved Rangers side take it. A bigger gap back to Dundee Utd who return to the Europa League after a couple of very profitable seasons in the Champions League. Hibs & St Mirren take the conference slots with their top 6 finishes. Ross County and Ayr were just off the top 6. Ayr definitely ran out of gas as the season went on after a very impressive start. While Motherwell looked like finishing bottom of the table all season the next 3 teams were exchanging the playoff spot and Killie just ended up falling there.

Managers​

Both capital teams made a change. Hibs rallied. Hearts got worse. Motherwell's manager change made no difference.


Europe
Celtic had one of their best Champions League seasons getting to the Quarter Finals
Dundee Utd massively overachieved and got out of the Champions League group but lost the playoff to AC Milan
Rangers Finished outside the playoff spots in the Champions League group
Hibs Had an impressive run to the Europa League quarter-finals losing to Celta Vigo
St Mirren got to the conference last 16 losing to Lille.
Hearts Started their conference group with 2 wins then lost every other game as their season collapsed

Again the Premier League supplies the weird outcome of a team getting relegated and winning a European trophy.

They have a crazy 10 teams in Europe next season

Squad Review


Goalkeeper

I have no idea what way i am going with these keepers/ Both want to be No1. Both deserve to be a no1. If someone bids on either keeper i will probably have to sell.


Defense

The regular back 4 is reaching its end with left back Villareal now 31 and ancient by my standards. Cummings had one of his worst seasons under pressure from the many youth players pushing for time in the first team


Midfield

Martinez also turning 31 and Alvarez became the starting midfield with new signing Jimenez did enough to comfort me as a future starter.

Attack

MacIver & Dujakovic are locked in superstars/ Cuellar was their backup but after a poor season, he was sold. We'll be looking at the youth team and players on loan to be the backups as Bavidge is past it and Craig and Kerr are not good enough yet.

The Dons won a 3rd Champions League in a row and a 2nd domestic treble. The summer of 2041 was a summer of change with an unprecedented number of players looking for a new challenge or getting passed by the backup kids


Squad
It took till the last hours of the transfer window but i got bang on my 25-man limit. Here is our class of 2041


Goalkeepers

More upheaval in goals. Ajayi won a stay of execution after Mna Utd offered ridiculous money for my other 1st choice keeper. The plan was to loan out Lawrie but nobody would take him. What is the point of two feeder teams in the 2nd tier if he says no? Anyway, he is back up and i hope Ajayi doesn't get injured.

Defense

The time has come to feed into the team the abundance of youth players that have cleared 20 years old and are still 5* potential. Nicu will be the new starting DR with any of the 3 other 5* players DRs waiting for their chance. Spoiler it will be Langton eventually. The left-back also sees a change although less planned. I was hoping to move on Tremble but the offers for him were pitiful so the better player Villarreal left but now in his 30s it was almost time. CBs stay the same and except for Antonio Jose the bench is all promoted or u18 youngsters.

Midfield

The big news of the whole summer was us smashing our transfer record to bring Dimitar Petrov back to the club with the end result being a 40m profit for the Dons and a winger back in his prime. That huge upgrade aside the midfield stays the same. If Guner stays fit. Strong competition in MC and ML going forward.

Strikers

McIver and Djuakovic will lead the line again but backups Soumah & France are far better than what we had last term. Speaking of which Bavidge is on his last legs and had 2 up and coming strikers to contend with for scrap appearances. I need to get him signed up as a coach soon.

We will speak more about the Dons efforts later but let's take a moment to see Celtic cash in on two Brazilian prospects while Hibs sold a player for 23m who never rated higher than 6.81 for them. St Mirren to brought in a 9m profit for one season work with Sean Wyan

Only 3 players join and only 1 for the first team in this summer of upheaval.

Dimitar Petkov

Dimitar spent 4 seasons at Liverpool and despite always having a rating over 7.20 they sold him for a 48m loss. He makes our attack even stronger than last season.

2 Youths this year. I am trying to cut back combined with a brilliant lineup in the u18s

Out

An unprecedented selling window for Aberdeen with so much we'll kick off with the starters

GK Brahim Oudjani was always expected to see me bring in £50m for him or Ajai or himself so when Man Utd was negotiated up to £138m i was laughing all the way to the bank. Slavi Tzakov i thought was another steal but after selling him Petrov was the only right-winger who compared better. Filippo De Falcao had been starting right back for most of the last 10 years but with so much 5* talent coming through i was ready to accept offers. The same went for left-back Villareal who may have been the best left-back in the world but now at 31 and no solid offer coming from Tremble I have to take a chance that he can step up for us as Villareal moest to Real Madrid. Striker Cuellar and left winger Spasov had both maxed out a 3*s so they were moved on to give the youngsters more chances. 9 backups were shifted on for 135m. You'll hardly recognize any of them but they prove that the scouting system and u19s is working an absolute treat.​

Finish the group with 10 wins from 10 but there were a few worrying performances, Even against Norway we were behind for a long time before the turbos went on in the 2nd half.​

4th win in a row. Need one more to tie with Celtic's all time record.


Fixtures

Stand out result is our league record 14-0 win against St Johnstone. We only started 4 of our best starting 11 against what may be the worst SPL team in a long time.


SPL

As the above showed St Johnstone looks doomed. St Mirren and Hibs make managerial changes to try to get away from the army of teams at the bottom. Celtic have their best month of the year.

Rangers!! ****** Rangers ruin the perfect season. Usually business elsewhere with rotated teams with the biggest months ahead and a perfect season also in the toilet.


SPL

Rangers do not fall any further behind at the top. It doesn't look over yet, does it? The goal difference is just stupid. Celtic are still in touch too. St Johnstone are in big trouble as one of the worst SPL teams in a while

Rangers' fantastic season on the pitch is matched off the pitch pulling in a £20m profit from their best midfielder. Despite the smaller fee Ross County got the award for the sale of the window getting £14m for a defender who is off to Milan

As normal were at the top of the page with the biggest sales and purchases along with funneling money to our feeder teams.

Despite the high fees, i sign two players for the u18s. Alex Ockmonek was the best teenage winger in the world and will get his share of 1st team appearances this season before probably jumping into the first-team next season. Astrit Memedi goes right back on loan for the rest of the season.

Out
We more than made our money back selling former wonderkid Coelho never lived up to his talent and hardly ever cleared a 7.00. PSG stumped up £50m. If he does turn out to be class i will live to regret it and unlike Petrov & Martinez we are not parting on good terms so he won't be coming back. Levchuk was a failed buy-for-free sell for a huge project.

Alfie Bavidge to retire

The man of the save Alfie Bavidge has decided to retire after 19 seasons leading the Don's front line. Tragically he has no desire to go into a coaching role so we may only have 3 months left of the club's greatest striker

One of our best months ever as we went on a run of ridiculously big wins.


SPL

Celtic close the gap on Rangers for 2nd with Dundee Utd coming along with them and Ross County are also looking good for a top 6 spot. St Johnstone also have found a bit of form just in the nick of time. MacIver is very close to being in the running for his own treble. Leading the league in goals, assists, and Ave Rating.

We face the German Red Bul x1. Dortmund put Rangers out and Celtic has a tricky tie with Juventus​
