WHAT A FINAL!!!!! To be fair there would have been something wrong if we hadnt won against this lot but when they came back from 2 down I was a little worried!!! Neymar was selected despite being unfit and I took him off when the game was won.

Thats me won it twice in two years now with two different nations!!!

PRE-SEASON

So here we go again!! I was doing a live stream through half the pre-season so some of you will know what happened and most of my pre-season was for my yearning of the Spain job.

In the end Del Bosque did get the chop and I applied for that and the Portugal (who beat England 1-0 in the Euros final) job. Portugal got back to me first and I said no and then Spain gave Guardiola the job and Portugal didnt want me back so I ended up completing the Copa America with Brazil............

AND THEN I RESIGNED!!!!!!!!!!!!

No point being manager of them anymore. Tunisia and Nigeria are available and I may consider being them if the job is still available in November as the African Nations Cup is in January.

PLAYERS IN

Just the one for my first team. Javi Martinez wasnt interested so I decided I would just promote from within however I put in a cheeky bid for Ruben Pardo which got accepted. After a few negotiations I sealed the deal for £16.5m.

PLAYERS OUT

To make way for Pardo I let Iturraspe join AC Milan for £7.5m and at the time of writing I am trying to offload Ibai Gomez but he keeps rejecting moves away!!!! Other than that Iraola retired and joined the coaching staff and Marc got loaned out to Real Betis.

SUMMARY

There are a few changes. Castillo is promoted to replace Iraola as my backup RB while Isidro is promoted to replace Ibai Gomez as my sub versatile midfielder. Pardo will battle it out with Benat for a CM spot while I have stripped Benat of the captaincy and given it to Cesar Azpilicueta although Benat is the vice captain. Lorasque has been called up to be my backup keeper.

SUMMARY

A decent start to the season!!!! Due to injuries and the suspensions being carried over from last season some of my backups got a chance and they impressed greatly - especially Isidro!!!!

We won all 3 league games and held onto the Spanish Super Cup after beating Barcelona while Barca and Real Madrid have also already slipped up in the league.

In the Champions League we will play Paris Saint-Germain, Feyenoord and CFR Cluj.

Finally in the transfer window Javi Martinez is finally interested in joining us but I cant afford him so that was the end of that and leaving the club was Ibai Gomez who joined Sevilla on loan for £1.2m. Barcelona and Real Madrid spent big in the summer also...............

SUMMARY

Our good start to the season continued here as we came through the month without defeat. We managed to win the Vasco derby, draw against Real Madrid and have 4pts from 6 in the Champions League.

Despite the good start I know we can do better as Barandiaran has only had 1 game, Pardo a handful and Susaeta hasnt featured yet so we arent at full strength yet.

SUMMARY

What a difference compared to last month. Before the PSG game I called an emergency team meeting and it seems to have worked as we won every single game. Whats better is that we are back on top of the league as Barcelona slipped up a few times.

Several players finally found there top form - Muniain and Barandiaran you would expect to contribute but the likes of Nieto and Ramalho greatly impressed also however Ruben Pardo has been terrible as in 10 games he has yet to score or assist and his avr is 6.95!!!!

SUMMARY

Although this month saw us give away top spot in the table I am still happy with how things went. My backups came in and did the job in the cup while the big boys did ok in the league. The cup draws however have not been kind to us as we will play Juventus in the Champions League and Barcelona in the cup.

AITOR HERRERA APPOINTED NIGERIA MANAGER!!!!!!!

They didnt appoint anyone so I thought I would take charge of the upcoming African Nations Cup tournament. I would have picked Tunisia if I felt I could learn Arabic in 2 months lol.

Nigeria have some decent players like Moses, Mikel, Haruna and Taiwo so I think we can do a decent job!

Another fantastic month as we progressed in the domestic cup after knocking out both Barcelona and Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey and we won all 3 league games too!!!

Check out my Shakhtar story just got drawn against Bilbao in the Champions League groups for the new season, Munian joined Man Utd for £39million and they have Xabi Alonso as captain
