Dear diary,
Sorry about not writing again but since Wednesday I've been depressed. We lost 2-1 to real lesser opposition in Plymouth which forced us out of the league cup. No excuses, we were shocking and deserved to be eliminated. Keith (Fahey) got us a 90th minute consolation but the result was already set in stone. Things did brighten up today though, we travelled up to Preston in what we thought would be a tough game. It was a long trip up north and the team coach was in a very solemn mood following our awful midweek performance. The most entertaining thing occuring was the banter between Juanma and Nicky Eaden, they were making subtle snipes at eachother 'Whining ******' and '******* ****' were surpisingly the mildest phrases thrown. Me Cam and Johnno couldn't help laughing at their stupidity. Juanma was subsequently kept on the bench and his first team counterpart Seb Larsson showed us why he is just that! Didy grabbed the first goal before Seba delivered in a beauty of a cross for Roger to head home. Seb got our
third and final goal which in my opinion should have made him man of the match but the award was given to Johnno. A 3-0 victory was the least we deserved after dominating them all over the park!

Dear diary,
*Groan* Another expectant early sky sports news lookout and another disappointing omission
from the Chile squad. I am starting to become frustrated as there are players that I am performing for my club better than them yet they are picked ahead of me. I know as my great grandfather keeps telling me I am still young and that he was patient until he got his chance. I
think that unlike a few people say Alex Bruce and Darren Ferguson I haven't been helped with
my relation. It has brought the selectors to thinking that they will be expecting too much of me but I want that, I want to prove I am as good as my great grandfather but until I get my chance I cannot do it. I had a free day that the squad had off training. As usual when there was no
training there was fun! At around 8AM I got a phonecall from Jack. He wanted to know if I could
make it to somewhere... Next thing I remembered I was walking past the turnstiles and onto what is called towers street, it was my first ever visit to Alton Towers and as you could probably guess I was insanely excited. I forgot to mention that I had also brought along Connie, Cam and Johnno. Jack knows CJ from the England youth system but he isn't really familliar with Roger. As I expected they got on like a house on fire, Jack still has a recording on his phone of 'He's eighteen years old from Chile, Sanchez, Sanchez, he'll get the ball, he'll score a goal, Sanchez, Sanchez, we bought the lad from skilled Brazil and it's the net he loves to feel Alfonso Sanchez
Arsenal's number nine!' Although I am now nineteen and I play for Birmingham it is still a great song. At around 7PM we were back home, Connie looked
tired so we were in bed by 10. Not the most interesting night but nothing is compared to the next one....

Dear diary,
I arrived home from training today to be greeted with something that I hadn't been expecting! I walked into the kitchen when Connie said*

'Alf, I've gotta tell you something'
'What is it babe?'
'Well... I think I'm pregnant!'

My body went into shock mode, how could this happen?! Well, I know how it happens but how come now?! I managed a...

'Ok, that's a surprise'
'Is it a good surprise?'

As those words came out of her mouth it hit me, this is god's will and that this would be the right thing to do...

'Connie?'
'Yes?'
'Will you marry me?'

Her eyes lit up with joy as she screamed...

'Yes! Of course I will'

I swung her round in a tight embrace before she whispered...

'Ive got to tell everyone!'

and with a sexy smile left the room towards where she keeps her iPhone. I know that this was recklessly impulsive but I also know that as a Christian it was the right thing to do. I was overjoyed and knowing that I also have a child on the way is something special! Connie came rushing back into the room...

'Let's get married tomorrow!'
'Of course but how can we!?'
'I have contacts and with the publicity we could get I think it's possible'

We got straight to work, calling everyone to help. Cesc was the first person to call me in congratulation. I hadn't spoke to him for a while but he sounds like he's holding up well! A few hours later it was set, we had the ring, the venue, the bridesmaids, the best man (Cesc) and everything else Connie wanted. Tomorrow will be the greatest day of my life, it would be the day that everybody we know will finally say 'yes, they're perfect for eachother'

Write to you on my first night,
Alfonso Sanchez

Getting married. I am so proud of Alfonso :'( Making an honest woman of Connie

This story's so cheesy XD Nonetheless, it's so different to others and I like it.

Keep it up. Enjoy the wedding.. I know I shall ;)

Here it is!
_________

Dear diary,
I woke up this morning with a sense of 'Where the **** am I' as I regained slight conciousness it hit me where I was! I had taken the Arsenal plane to Italy ready for my 4PM wedding, it was almost 7:30AM so I had alot of time, also on this plane were Cesc, Jack and Edin. Cesc would be my best man and as he traditionally should will dish the dirt on me in his speech! I looked down to see the top of my iPhone flashing, I pressed the top button and the screen lit up; One message from Connie. It read:

Hey baby,
The wedding is at Castello Di Strossaldo, if you can get there by 3PM it would be great ***

My finger circled the reply button as I considered what to text back, as I racked my brains for the vows I had created yesterday Cesc tapped me on my shoulder. He was holding a sheet of paper, all I could make out was Andriy. From that I realised he had written his speech and that our 'eventful' night in Stuttgart will be mentioned. Cesc has always got on with Connie and has been supportive all the way through our relationship, Cesc handed me his blackberry;

From: Josh Gregg
Subject: Re: Alf

Congratulate him, I wish him luck for today and for his married life.

A few hours later the cabin assistant informed us we would be landing soon, Strossaldo was in
central Italy but the reception would be on the coast. Against the odds everything was ready, we had all the people here that we invited, we had our clothes, our venue and a caterer who specialises in Chilean cuisine. Edin, Cesc and Jack have been handed jobs by Connie. The first they have to do is pick up my grandfather from the airport when he arrives. As much as they moaned they went to do it, I left the plane in not time as I would have to take a hire car to the castle. Cesc gave me a number that confirmed my legitimate hire. He had ordered me a brand new Lamborghini for the day, I was over the moon! At home I drive an Audi A5, it is a
nice car but it's nothing compared to this beauty. I was handed the keys and off I went, it was easy to handle, quick on the gas and gaining respect from other drivers. Strossaldo was closer than I had anticipated and I was there in hardly any time at all. It was a rustic city with historically listed buildings, it is like what you expect Italy to be like; rivers, narrow streets and overlapping canopies. I felt like something out of a James Bond film as I took my Gallardo
round one of the sharp corners. I heard my phone go off but I couldn't answer as in Italy I could be banned from driving for answering a call. As I ventured through the tight streets in the distance I noticed it; Castello Di Strossaldo, a castle on the foliaged hill ahead of me. It was a large building with a luscious exterior I saw whilst locking up the Gallardo, I walked towards the *entrance when I saw a familliar face sprint towards me. It was my mother, I haven't seen her since I was 16 but she hasn't changed one single bit! She had dark hair cut into a neat bob, she has always had darker skin than me, she had a permenant tan whilst I has to lounge in the
sun to darken. She hugged me in a tight hold before blabbering to me in Spanish. She was going on and on, I had to get changed but I didn't want to sound rude by leaving. 'Ermm, I have to check in?!' I lied in a shaky voice. 'I know you, go on Alfonso, do what you need to do. I'll see you later' she chuckled whilst shaking her head. She has always been very observant, well she has to be as she is a human psycologist at Santiago tech school.

About half an hour I was dressed, it was five past two, fifty-five minutes before I was walking down the aisle. I just got a phone call from Cesc, he told me that he, Jack, Edin and my grandfather would be arriving anytime now. All was set, now all that had to be done was the actual ceremony. I left my suite and headed down towards the foyer, it was decorated with
balloons and the centre of the room was stamped with an ice statue of a lion, the lion symbolises the heart which symbolises love. The first person to greet me was my cousin Alejandro, he was always a friendly man and since we were children he always helped me with whatever I wanted. As much as I don't want to say it I wasn't the smartest of children, I would much rather impress girls than listen in lessons. My life changed on that day in Chile when the Colo-Colo scouts saw me, who then would have thought I would be marrying a former miss
Chile. As Alejandro started to move towards where the ceremony will take place I was ushered behind him. 'She's arrived!' I made out from the people waiting in expectancy. I stood at the altar when the wedding march started a quick glance behind me saw my great grandfather linking arms with Connie who looked more beautiful than I ever have seen her. She walked down the aisle and right beside me I heard my great grandfather whisper 'You'll make a good man of him' I knew it was ready for me to become a real man.

The attendees all 'Arww'd' as we said our I do's. A round of photo's followed before the most interesting bit of the wedding occurred; the reception...

To be continued

Dear diary,*
I helped Connie into the dressed up classic Ferrari as we drove off into the now setting sun, she was looking more beautiful than I have ever seen her look before. Dressed in all White the contrast between her and my all black tux showed. Although it was entirely different they worked together in perfect harmony and made us look the perfect couple. After talking for about an hour on what we will do in the future our driver told us we had arrived at where the reception was being held. It was a seafront building, I could make out where Jack and Edin were sitting but I couldn't see Fab through the glass panels. As my viewing angle changed I saw he was talking to my mother and great grandfather. As we arrived at the entrance you heard everything go silent, we entered to a series of 'Wheeey's' and the odd set of applause. Connie was whisked away by my mother as Fab made his way towards me. He greeted me with a 'Congrats mate' and I returned a 'Thanks'. Alejandro then approached me I mustered up a 'Alright?' and he could only manage a grunt. He sounded upset but as I learnt as I child when he is upset he is best to keep away from...

In January of 2000 we visited a carnival for the millenium. There were big rides and I was excited to visit them, Alejandro however had a phobia of height's that he kept to himself. He didn't want to go on but I forced him, he came off in tears, shaking in a quite frightening manner. I was teasing him calling him a 'Gatito' which let's just say is a female body part. He suddenly lashed out knocking me to the ground, he started stamping on my face until one of the security guards restrained him. About a month after that his father died, it was a tragic month for all our family and we still haven't found out how he died, ever since then I have stayed on his good side and he has been nice to everybody. It is also weird because it was almost as if the police didn't care about him randomly dying, we have moved on now although a doubt is always shown within the family when his name is brought up.

We spent the rest of the night dancing, mixing and frolicking about. I was in a great mood until Fab set out of murdering me with embrassment, yep, he was reading his speech. The repeating mention of Stuttgart always managed to squeeze a laugh from the crowd, hopefully Cesc will forget that soon as it is really embarrasing me. Jack started my chant and of course only me, him, Cesc, Edin and Connie knew it but it still got a few people excited. I was standing at the bar chatting to Cesc about how Arsenal are doing when Constanza ran up to me shouting for help! I ran after her as she lead me through a crowd of guests, my great grandfather Leonel Sanchez was motionless on the balcony decking! I was shocked as my crying mother turned blurting out 'He's not breathing' the entire party went silent, the only sound was the motion of the ocean as the waves crashed against the balcony's support. 'Call a paramedic' I screamed as Connie drifted towards me. 'Oh my god' she whispered in a shocked tone. 'What happened to him?!' I replied underneath my tears. 'I don't know I just found him here'*

Not again, another member of my family dying out of nowhere for no reason what so ever! I am sorry for not writing anymore but I am too distraught to talk about this at the moment, I'll next write to you when I feel like talking. Now I must concentrate on my family and my job, my two priorites in life nothing else matters really, I just need to enjoy myself whilst it lasts because as I've just seen, you never know when it will end.

Didn't expect that did you? :O

Dear diary,
Well, I was searching through my old things when I found this diary. How long ago did I last write to you?! It has to be at least four years. Well I am now *and three quarters, I have a four year old son who is named Leonel Sanchez Jr. His birthday is June 28th and he is in love with football, Constanza takes him to every single one of my matches, hopefully he can gain the success of his late great great grandfather. I now have eight Chilean caps and in those I've scored two goals. I currently play for Bordeaux in France but many English clubs are interested in signing me. I moved to Bordeaux this summer for*2.8 million. So far I have made 109 career appearances, scoring 13 and setting up 16. I think people forget I am still young but hopefully I can really push on this season and return to England.

Dear diary,
I told you that clubs are interested me but I didn't think they were this interested. I am currently in talks with Manchester City over a 10 million pound move to Eastlands. I am looking forward to playing in a team with such quality players as Carlos Tevez, Stefan Jovetic, Luka Modric, Filipe and Miguel Veloso. The clubs support is also fantastic and can only help me develop as a player!
