Former Alfreton town manager Nicky Law has resigned on mutual consent today, he told sky sports news " I have sadly resigned as Alfreton town manager because i saw it as there was no future for me here, its as simple as that. I feel i have took Alfreton town as far as I can take them now and I am happy to let someone else fill my boots and hopefully do a better job than me"

BREAKING NEWS!!!!

Unknown manager "josh woolley" gets the job as Alfreton town football club manager, its come as a shock to the Alfreton town supporters as we went into town to speak to some of them.
One fan said "ive never heard such rubbish in hiring a unknown manager to take control of a football club like this".
Another said "who is he".
so it seems that nobody knows who this "josh woolley" is but we'll soon find out when the new football season starts getting underway.

Try get Danny hilton on free transfer (if available yet cos im in 2012) he bags many goals or his stats aint great but Leon Green. He scored over 60 goals in 2 seasons for my team. BSN maybe be abit high for him tho. But would be a good sub.

aww shame, neil wood is also a good free transfer and still going well now. Center mid.... if he is on the database that is lol. looking forward to a pre-season update :)

overall assessment:

keeper - need to find a good one fast because he leeks goals and fumbles the ball too much.

defenders in general - solid backline, may need to buy or loan out one or two more defenders (fast ones).

midfielders in general - good midfielders, great wingers in Anthony Howell and Andy Todd scoring most of my goals, might need to strengthen in this department.

strikers - OK strikers, at-least every one of my strikers has scored at-least one goal in one pre-season friendly this shows they can do it.

Subscribed - have a soft spot for Alfreton ever since they had immense youngsters on 2001-02 version.
