Tottenham Secure Rugani Signature

Tottenham Hotspur have today confirmed the signing of Daniele Rugani from Juventus for a reported fee of £7,000,000.

With Tottenham looking to bolster their defence in the Winter window it is believed that the 24 year old Italian had been impressing Paul Clement over the past 4 months, despite only making 4 appearances for Juventus this season.

The former prodigy still has a lot of potential in the game but is more than capable of making the switch to the English leagues with the £7m price-tag looking like a steal.

Can Rugani bring a fresh lease of life to the aging Tottenham back-line?

Some good stats, as you can see his value has already doubled but to me that's not important..I need my back-line strengthened immediately if we are to look for a top 4 finish. But Rugani looks more than capable, only time will tell.

Even Honours at Lampard Arena

Not much to say on this one..We pretty much accepted that scoring would be a tough ask and opted to defend our own area, despite Chelsea's 15 shots they were unable to find a goal, largely down to the efforts of Hugo Lloris in the net, he made some brilliant saves to keep the Blues at bay.

Although a point is a good result for us, Chelsea are above us and so a defeat would have been costly.

Clement Sacked by Tottenham

Paul+Clement+Paris+Saint+Germain+FC+v+Marseille+-zeAeo4-YXel.jpg

Reports have today been confirmed that Manager Paul Clement has been dismissed following an emergency board meeting with Chairman Marvin Lacey, it is believed that many players had expressed their concerns following altercations with Mr. Clement, something that Lacey has not let go unnoticed.

Despite the good performance in the league, cup and Champions League the Englishman has been dismissed..Our closes sources are saying that Clement's refusal to play a midfielder who wasn't fully fit had led to his termination, along with unhappiness from Ross Barkley and Federico Fazio.

Clement's spell in charge of Spurs lasted only 5 months, with the Englishman having taken over from Pochettino back in August.

David Moyes is among the favourites to take the job at New White Hart Lane.

This is how Paul Clement's career looks so far in terms of numbers:

The fate of the Englishman remains uncertain, especially due to his reluctance to speak to the media.

How about that for a twist in the tale? I generally thought I was doing a good job at Tottenham but clearly a couple of players (Barkley, Ajer and Fazio) are more important than me, despite my good standing in all of the competitions at this time.

I'm disappointed..I've had nothing but misery managing in England and to tell you the truth the reason for this sacking seems a bit odd, I played Ajer against Chelsea in the Semi-Final of the Capital One Cup and the game against Manchester United yet he still claims I'm not playing him?

5 months is pathetic, but that's what I get for resigning from Newcastle United..

What's going to happen now? Who knows...

Do I continue the story, or do I let it end here?

Carry it on! look abroad then maybe try England again after couple seasons?

Time for a trip abroad?

I think it might be! Luckily I have plenty of leagues loaded!

Carry it on! look abroad then maybe try England again after couple seasons?

All part of the managerial rollercoaster eh? One day I'll win the Premier League, it's been an aim of mine since I started playing Management games! (CM4)..11 years no BPL win. :(

Moyes Takes Charge at Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur have today confirmed the arrival of David Moyes as the clubs new manager, the news comes only 72 hours after the dismissal of previous manager Paul Clement.

The former Swansea manager has been under speculation since the dismissal of Clement but has played off the chances of taking the job at New White Hart Lane.

With Spurs currently sitting 4th in the Premier League, Moyes has certainly joined a great bunch of players and will be looking to build to bigger and better things.

Swansea City are now looking for a new manager.

With Moyes taking the job at New White Hart Lane it's only fate that his former club have made an approach for me, as much as I think Swansea and Brentford are great clubs I think it's time for me to leave England (And Wales) for a while.

Nice to see I'm in demand though, my managerial skills are certainly attractive to some.

Manchester City Win Capital One Cup

Manchester City have won the 2018/2019 Capital One Cup after beating Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 at Wembley, goals from former Spurs winger Erik Lamela and Patrick Roberts secured the trophy for the Citizens as Spurs were unable to turn the game around.

Having only been in charge since February this was David Moyes first chance to win a trophy, but the Scottish manager has fallen short of his first triumph with Tottenham (Which makes me happy).

City were definitely deserved winners in terms of control and the clinical nature of their finishing, Spurs on the other hand were perhaps a bit wasteful..

This is Manchester City's first League Cup triumph since 2014.

Besides the defeat David Moyes has made a good start at Tottenham Hotspur, having reached the Final and currently sitting 4th in the League.

where you realistically looking at going?

I'm not too sure! Maybe Holland, Portugal or Italy? Somewhere I can start anew as I look to build up my reputation in the game, Sporting CP/Ajax would be nice! But we'll have to see. :)

Could a Newcastle United return be on the cards? The club approached me earlier today following the sacking of Mark Hughes with the Magpies currently sitting in 9th.

I built a great squad there but I'm not sure..I think I need to try a new league...A new nation.

A return to Newcastle would be great for the story! Abroad is also interesting! I knew Tottenham would sack you after a few bad games (As you've seen on my story!) They don't give you any time! But I suppose thats realistic with Spurs

Former Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur manager Paul Clement has today been unveiled as the new Manager of Juventus. The Englishman has been the target for a lot of big clubs throughout the Summer as the likes of Atletico Madrid, Arsenal, Manchester City and Porto all targeted the former Tottenham Manager, but ultimately Clement chose to take the job in Turin. The hiring comes only 3 days after the sacking of previous manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Chairman Andrea Agnelli released a statement expressing his delight at the capture of Clement earlier today, the statement read as follows:

A.Agnelli: "I'm excited. Mr. Clement is a man who has proven to be a fantastic coach throughout his career but has also taken huge strides in the World of management, despite not winning a trophy he has done incredibly well in his short time as a Manager. We are delighted to have him here."

With Juventus having finished as Runners-Up in last seasons Serie-A for the second year in a row can Paul Clement lead the club back to league winning form?
