Hey Raikan great tactic, began using after i was around 4 games into my 1st season with Southampton and I'm now on a 7 game win streak! Do you change the strategy at all when your away against tougher opposition?

Clearly cheated! Spurs cant afford all they players!

lol bud, yes they can! if you know anything about business you will see that I actually brought in more money from transfers than I spent in the first season :) meaning the club is already making a profit, that is excluding gate receipts and the interest I earn on having over £1m extra in my wage budget :)

play a game with Spurs and try do exactly what I did, you can even ask me exactly and you will see that it is very easy! as I mentioned, Dortmund were relegated in the first season for some reason :)

if you have nothing constructive to add, don't comment

Sry but what it mean -> about their midfilders and atacker -> closing down?presing?

in opposition instructions before the match, close down all mids and strikers and show to weaker foot....

awesome mate, well done! counter and rigid :)

modern :) I dont know, seems as though it does, changed back to modern though!

I sticked with classic, since it's perfect for my not so talented squad. The only problem I have in some matches is the high number of misses. I think the problem is the talent of my strikers and wingers. In some matches I have 20+ shots (on and of target) and 5 CCC, but still I win only 3-0 or something. I am glad with the win but I also want sometimes a 7-0 or something.
But on the other hand I win most of the matches. I don''t have an exact record here, but I lost 1 match in the last 20 matches and had 2 or 3 draws.

Hey, first time poster, long time lurker.

Firstly, I would like to show my appreciating to everyone for asking or stating things that then get addressed by Raikan, so I dont have to ask myeslf, so thanks :)

Second, I would just like to give a wee update on how the tactic is going for myself:
I am playing Wolves, just the first season, have had interesting results, losing to Tottenham and Arsenal by one or two, and then bashing Man Utd 6-1. I am actually quite excited for this tactic, to see if I can get it to work out a little better overall once I have a few decent players in :)

On a side note, there is one question I would like to ask tho, and I know this has been touched on in few ways by earlier posts so I will phrase it slightly differently:

When playing this tactic, I generally use it on counter as I am cited as a smaller team, therefore most people are favoured against me. Is there any time against bigger teams you would even consider changing it to attacking or overload? Or just keep it on counter until I become one of the "bigger" teams?

Thanks once again for all the help I have found on all the forums on the site

cheers bud, glad to help!

yes, at home if you wanted to! and if you are one or two down as well! use look for overlap shout as well, works well!

keep it on counter for most of your games, if you play Norwich/QPR/Swansea or any of the "smaller" teams, then I suggest switching to either control or attacking! but not a good idea against Chelsea or City away from home!

good luck and I look forward to your updates :)

Hello. i have another question about shouts.

You show that You are using but i need to save them and use just after game begins?

What about corners?

what about half time team talk? same?

also i have to change opp instructions thru out the game, right?

thanks.

hey bud, when they make a sub, use the opposition instructions on him as well! you can apply them at the start as well :)

same works well, even though its the SAME :) see what works for your players

save the shouts, apply them in team talk screen pre-match!

M8 how to apply them before match start?I can only apply after the match begins :O

Ok sry i got it :D

Looks really good, i had a formation the same, and got the same results (nearly) in my first season with Man Utd, changed it cause i didnt want my team to get found out.

Would you say that its best to always put all the opposision midfielders onto thier weaker foots?

Hi raikan:
What do you recommend my Sheff wed team for starting strategy home resp away?

cheers

it depends on the tactic mate and style of play :)
