Can I send an excel spreadsheet as my transfer form if it has the exact same data as your template?
 
Just finished my shortlist. 26 players, with 88k left in transfers and £445 in wage. :O Now for the staff....

Remember, you're only allowed one because of second division rules so it's not that bad that you don't have one!

So if say 10 people had the same player on there shortlist, it would go to the person that submitted the transfer forms first?

Might be difficult when selecting players as we won't know who has already been taken…. especially as it sounds like a few chairmen have already selected there squad shortlists

Adds to the challenge, that means you get to pick more exotic players. However, players can optionally announce their signings once I've confirmed it, so you guys should get a better idea of who's not been picked. Before the window even starts though, we need opening press conferences and registration to finish before that!
 
Also, So guys I've been testing a lot of games recently and it seems that managers negotiate new contracts and loan/transfer list players. Would you be alright with managers negotiating contracts and then the ones that they don't negotiate you guys can do at the end of each season for expiring players? Or, every time a manager transfer/loan lists a player, do you want me to go in the in-game editor and reverse that?
 
I'd say leave then too it. We've picked the managers so if they make a good or bad call it's on us.
 
I don't want my manager transfer listing/loan listing a good young player because he's to dumb to recognise their potential! That will not do at all.

What about this? Since I'll be publishing a save every 3 months in game... when the save loads, you guys can tell me if you want any contracts or transfer/loan listings reverse and ill in-game edit them out (to be realistic you can claim it as the Chairman stepping in on the manager's decisions). However, if you like what they've done, just leave it and say that you and the manager came to an agreement. Deal?

Sounds good. On a side note, two of my staff earn more money then my manager. That's not going to cause any problems at all...
 
I'm down for the manager to do as he pleases or for you to edit it after. The way I see it is I've hired and personally picked a manager to run the club. He is there to manage the players/tactics and pick transfers as well as transfer listing the players if he doesn't think they are good enough.

Don't put too much pressure or work onto yourself though mate.

Wouldn't be doing it if it wasn't fun :) but yea I see what you mean that's why I gave you the choice... also it will be hard for managers to sign players as I've placed a transfer embargo on all clubs so that the league can function as I saw it (Chairman has more direct role).

Also guys, won't be doing this anytime soon, but stadium expansions will eventually happen and possibly even club relocations :)
 
Hmm I read the original post wrong like some people did. Time to scout for americans lol
 
Haha yea we only need two more people spread the word so that hopefully registration can close soon!
