Ah....then you're in the same spot as I am with Macheda. Yeah, Rooney at AMC/support is your best bet, though on second thought I'd think about using Neymar as an attacking AMC with Rooney up top as Complete/support. That's my 2nd formation, with Hazard instead of Neymar.

I just don't like having two small, fast guys up front I guess, a bit redundant.

keep them mate, no need to stress, if he gets injured you have Chicho and I am sure he will keep Mechada on the bench just like it happened to him, depth is the greatest form of variety (just made that up)

Rooney could even be trained to a Cm if you like, he would be great in that position too! if you want to have the two poachers upfront, as everyone said, you need to have someone who is going to get the ball up to them on the floor, direct and into space! you can play:

play Valencia, let him do well and he will start gaining interest! sell set his asking price to what you want but have him off the TL a week after you offer him out and put him back to a decent role within the team, wait for more interest, offer him out again!
 
i offloaded him in jan for 12 mill along with park-ji-sung and now have made no loss this season on transfers with me spending 29.5 mill and gaining 29.5 mill which is awesome signed sanogo in jan for 5 mill gunna be awesome especially since berba got injured and he's getting game time, i'm playing 4-4-2 diamond like above but need to train fletcher to be a dmc cos i have to play Hargreaves who is actually great tbh (not injured yet) rooney is in the hole below the two up front but as i'm playing sanogo what role would you sugest for him? i was thinking target man attack
 
Board just agreed to expand the stadium hello gate receipts!!! hoping for around 15-20 thousand increase but that is quite unlikely

They gave me just about the same........Old Trafford up over 91,000 seats.

And I never thought Valencia would be a key player for me, but he's just been so good......I actually ended up selling Nani instead for big money instead, though that was mostly out of boredom.
 
started my next season got 80 mill budget sold beba for 15 mill as he wouldent sign a new contract and trying to get rossi as replacement need a new keeper though as renan is not ready for first team football at the moment any suggestions preferably experienced so he can tutor renan? thinking maybe sebastian frey
 
Frey's Eccentrecity is a bit high for my liking.... (but he is a good keeper)

Isn't Adler the natural fit for Man U? That's who I got.......he speaks english, has MU as a favored team. Costs a bunch, and if you have a star keeper waiting in the wings maybe it isn't worth it, but he's perfect.

Had a strange problem with my team. Every match I was getting a message something like "many players are finding it hard to motivate themselves with Rooney as captain". I think it was because he was saying he'd asked for a transfer a few times, saying he'd achieved all he could....though each time he backed down and stayed happy. After the last time he did it, I got a worse message "most of the squad is really struggling to motivate themselves with Rooney". So I finally changed captains and promoted Vidic.....and ****** off almost the entire team, crushed morale. It was OK after a few matches, and Rooney is actually playing better (though I'm not on his favored personnel anymore). But anyone had to deal with this before?

well i had to sell a great captain by the name of cees kok (not joking that was his name) for the good of the team........until they complained that we had sold a star individual and i had to buy another star CB to keep the squad happy
 
I have played 7 happy seasons with Utd on my game.

This is how my current team pans out.

Adler, Rafael, Evans, Hummels, Regen, Sanchez, Anderson, Regen, Bale, Rooney and Neymar.

with Chicarito amongs others in the wings, Very happy with my side, Debts all cleared, Stadium standing at 100,00 seats, really is happy days.

I got Adler for £12m. :) He's amazing, often gets 'keeper of the year. Got Butland waiting in the wings for him plus a regen.

Chicharito is just amazing in this game. His best season has been 60 in 53 games. He started the next season with 9 in 3 till he got injured for 4 months. >.< Also brought Rossi back home on a free transfer, who has also been phenomenal.
 
i brought rossi back but so far he's played best on right wing what do u play him as? just got adler on a free coming end of second season currently in jan, 2nd place

DLF - support. Or sometimes I use him in as the main scorer with Rooney supporting him. He scores and assists for fun.
