My best buy is Neuer. He is insanely good.

I'm 32 games in and have only conceded 15 goals.

EDIT: One thing on how FM can improve. It decides if you are lucky if the other team have had more shots and possession etc. I just beat liverpool away and it said I was fortunate.

haha, good season mate :) I won the ECL in the 2nd season and the League again (two years in a row now) by about 12 points or so as well :)

I have been saving up for the past two years and I have brought in more cash than I have spent so this year I wanted to do a bit strengthening with 3 players that I have never bought before (well Neymar once on Fm10 and barely played that save) especially after his brace last night against Scotland :)

if I adjust my wage and transfer budgets now still, I have about 60million (had 120m) but I think that this will be all the transfers for this season....

Pastore, Neymar, Krasic :) I have sold 93m in players so I have literally only spent 24million :)

I offered for Bale (20million) as I sold Fabio (he was good, just never improved stat wise and suffered on the defending part of the game) he is injured for 4-6 months so he failed his medical....

retraining Evans for cover (Bochetti and Santon are both accomplished there as well)

True and this match was very important for me, beacuse if I would have lost that game then I would have ended up being 2nd in the group and would have drawn against some big European club rather than getting Ajax in the KO round.
 
As Valecia and Nani are injured shoud I get Antoine Griezmann???

I have decided to change to your tactics after 3 years in charge of Utd without winning a major trophy. No idea how I stay have the job.

GK- Neuer
LB - Bale (Always injured)
CBs - Vidic, Evans, Hummel, Sakho
RB - Rafael
CMs - Pastore, Sissoko, Fletcher, Canales, Anderson
Wings - Lucas, McGeady, Chamberlain
Strikers - Rooney, Hernandes, Huntelaar, Macheda

Haven't lost in the 3 games with your tactics. I changed because I was sick of these results with my old tactics.

So since I have uploaded your tactics. Nothing has changed. I have dominated teams and getting 0 luck. I've nearly had it with this game. It's too scripted. It's no where near as fun as it use to be.

I'm not digging at your tactics. Because obviously from the feed back here they are very good. I just have no idea why I get no luck. I give away tonnes of penalties, loads of red cards and yellow cards. I just lost to Arsenal after dominating the first half, and in the second my team didn't turn up and we kept hitting the wood work. It's just terribly scripted. Very rarely will it let you stuff a top team out of sight.

I remember going to Chelsea on an older FM with Man U and beaten them 6-0 because I by far better than them. It couldn't be done of this game no matter what team Chelsea put out.

would be sweet if you post who's best for each position.

i'm currently looking backups for evra, giggs, fabio. doesn't have to be wonderkids or young players cause the board just got me 66M to spend :D

here is an update of my team this year :) spent quite alot of cash :) attached is also my latest tweaked 4-4-2 tactic which (due to the new signings, I have put as Rigid and Control) using the touchline shouts:

1) Retain possession
2) Get stuck in
3) work ball into box
4) pass into space

Well I'm around 12 games in my united save using my own tactics. I normally go 4-4-2 at home and 4-5-1 away from home against the bigger sides and in Europe. I'm 10 points off top spot in the premier league in 5th place I started off well then had a bad patch losing to wolves and Blackpool!!

Berbatov just doesnt seem to perform so I dropped him and played Hernandez regularly he now has 8 goals in 17 games (12 starts).

I'm thinking of selling berbatov at the end of the season and releasing Owen and just using macheda and welbeck as my 2 replacements would they be good enough? Welbeck is doing really well for Sunderland 9 goals in 10 games.

Also who is better smalling or Evans? I really don't know who to have as my 3rd cb behind rio and vidic i prefer smalling as he's a natural replacement for rio who I have tutoring him too. But Evans seems to have better stats?

And I can't get a consistent rb rafael is normally my first choice but he's bot playing the best and I'm thinking of selling either brown or O'Shea leaning more towards selling brown as o'shea is a good utility player.

Also this might sound stupid but when playing with united I don't like signing players they haven't signed in real life lol it just doesn't feel right to me. So when i get to the end of my first season I'm going to wait over the Summer and see who they sign hopefully de gea, sneijder, ashley young.

Who would be best to partner sneijder in midfield? Fletcher Anderson or carrick? I was thinking fletcher as he breaks up the play more. I would of thought Hargreaves would be my first choice but he gets injured way too much.

Also has anyone kept cleverly after his loan at wigan? They guy is a real talent i think but is he good enough to push for first team starts after first season ?

thats not bad mate :) yeah get rid of Owen, Berbatov can be awesome if played correctly ;) I got the best out of him in the 1st season :) using my tactic in the OP, it was sort of created around him and Rooney...

Welbeck is class and so is Mechada, but look to bring in someone better as 1st choice replacement, like Vagner Love or Guisseppe Rossi or

O'Shea was good for the 1st season, used him to tutor some youngsters, but you need someone better, look atDavide Santon- Inter (available for free in January 1st season) or someone like Daniel Schwaab - Leverkusen

Smalling is better than Evans, I personally think Evans is the Shittest and most mistake prone defender in the EPL and I hope Fergie can see how **** he is and sell him before thinking he can replace Ferdinand or any other player for that fact...

Fletcher most definately, as he will destroy the midfield and get the ball back for the creative Sjneider :)

I sold Anderson to Real Madrid in the 2nd season for around 17 million as he was getting injured and not playing well... i got Jeremy Toulalan instead for 4.6 million to rotate with Fletcher as I also bought Pastore for the 1st time ever :)

yeah I did for the 2nd season, he was ok, nothimg special though.... sold him to Sunderland for around 7.5 start of the 3rd season.....
 
hi raiks great guide n tactics was just wonderin about tutoring have oshea tut hodson hargreaves tut mutch but was wonderin who should tut smallin and i bought toloi from goias who you recomend tut him plz ?
