Im using the original v2 with a Anderlect side that nearly only consists of talents (no regens). Squad average age is 22 and im doing great! If I can keep evolving my squad, without losing anyone too important, I will have a back to back CL winning side within a few years, im sure.

Players I have that are well on their way to becoming beasts: Aleksandar Mitrovic, Luciano Vietto, Massimo Bruno, Eder Balanta, Gaston Gil Romero, Jonathan Silva & Fernando (from Shakhtar).

Yes, everything else is as Sean wrote.

Edit: Some screenshots about my 4-2-3-1 tweak after season 3 (won Serie A and TIM Cup):

As you can see in the last pic, this tactic averaged 3 scored goals per game, while conceding about 0,75 goals per game.
The tactic works in 14.1.4 ?

Do you thing it would do a good job to change the advanced playmaker into an attack duty instead of the support?

Hi guys, sorry not been on this thread much recently. I am currently working on an updated version of this for the new patch (in the original 4-4-2 format). Likely to be updated in the next couple of days.

Cheers.

this tactic currently works for me in the new patch. with Aston Villa.

Are people still having sustained success on new patch?

Sean, what kind of tweaks (if at all) are you looking at for the new patch?

Using the 4-2-3-1 version at the mo and strolling the league with Ajax each year but struggling in the Champions League at times furthest I've got so far is the Quarter Finals. Into my 4th season

what's the 4-2-3-1 version ?

hi mate, tried this tactic in FM13 and had much success! gonna give it a try this year. and btw will you upload filters for the specific players this tactic needs, like last year?

where is the 4-2-3-1 version mate? prefer that formation because it covers every bit of the pitch

hi in 4-2-3-1 version : left foot on left side or right side?

So I'm posting my results again, because I'm simply amazed.
Third season with Hellas Verona:
- Won Italian SuperCup
. Won Italian Serie A
- Won Italian Tim Cup
- Lost Champion League's Final

I'm using my personal tweak of this amazing tactic, a deep 4-2-3-1 which uses the same settings as Sean's but "play higher tempo", which I'm probably going to add next season (I am also using a DCB since finding decent BPD is too hard for me):

I don't think it deserves a dedicated thread, and all credits go to Sean anyway, so I'll just post it here if anyone wants.

this is it. post 277

I want Seanhrfc's new tactics.
