Same. Where is the V3?
Which one is is the best for you guys?

Yeah i was thinking of doing that with the treq but couldnt remember if it was just a normal treq or if there were any tweks to add.

I been looking at moving the wingers into AMRL positons too so it becomes a deep 4231. Do you reckon it'd work?
No need to change the formation of course as the original tactic is awesome but i just like the look of the 4231 deep!

So I have been trying some tweaks, I thought a deep 4231 was leaking too much at defense, but here as the results compared to the normal 442 so far:

I set one of the DM on defense duty, the two AMRL are on support and the AMC is a trequartista. The FC is an Advanced Forward even though maybe a Complete Forward with attacking duties would do better.
Edit: now that I think of it, I'll probably try with a supporting complete forward and 2 attacking wingers, as it originally was.

80% Fluid

Sean, what do you mean by tactics 80% Fluid to change training?

You mean all tactics bar should be at least 80/100 or the full bar at middle high?

Thanks!

Having success using the tactic with Villa, but having some real trouble with discipline.

My two first-choice DM's (Westwood and Diarra) have received a combined 27 yellows and 3 reds, with my second-choice (El Ahmady and Sylla) on 13 yellows and 2 reds. Fullbacks aren't great either, with a combined 18 yellows and 1 red.

We've also had 7 penalties awarded against us.

Has anyone else had this problem and if so how have you got around it? I've got everyone in defence down to 'ease off tackles', but am still receiving on average around 4 yellows a game.

Am still using the V1 formation for Ajax and it's working well but might give the V2 a go for maybe the champions league campaign

There is no V3, also the differences between V1 and V2 are very small, just set piece changes and marking settings.

I've just completed 3rd season in the prem with Boreham Wood (2020/21) and won the quad - League, C1 Cup, FA Cup and Champions League.

which version use?

Are you guys changing the match prep from match to match based on your opposition scouting reports?

Or just sticking with the Def. Positioning?

So I'm posting my results again, because I'm simply amazed.
Third season with Hellas Verona:
- Won Italian SuperCup
. Won Italian Serie A
- Won Italian Tim Cup
- Lost Champion League's Final

I'm using my personal tweak of this amazing tactic, a deep 4-2-3-1 which uses the same settings as Sean's but "play higher tempo", which I'm probably going to add next season (I am also using a DCB since finding decent BPD is too hard for me):

I don't think it deserves a dedicated thread, and all credits go to Sean anyway, so I'll just post it here if anyone wants.

Hey Sean! I Have a few questions. I Just started with Boreham Wood like you and im in the beginning of December and I love it so far, currently sitting in 1st in the league 3 points ahead of Whitehawk, got knocked out of the FA Cup 1st round against Hyde 1-2 which was really frustrated because I was leading until the 85th minute, I also got knocked out of FA Trophy 3rd round against North Ferriby 2-3 which was even more frustrating, I was really counting on the financial incomes in these competitions for the financial status, aside from the FA's everything is going great. So here are my questions and i'm hoping for some tips from you.

1. About some good regens wasn't it hard to spot some good/great regens when you are such a small team? I see your 3 beasts and they are really a BEAST! I was just wondering how was the best way for you to spot good regens when you are such a small team?

2. And number two, do you recommend any signings like when or IF i get promoted to the Skrill Premier and even above?

I am most concerned about getting and even spotting great regens when you are such a small team and your scout isn't the best.

Hoping for an answer, Regards!

Nice work mate! Have you implemented the changes you mentioned with shout and defender or are you doing that next season?
