@aimleeds, I did a successful season with Spurs too and I never play them together. Only if I was chasing a result, I put Adebayor as CF (Strength and more powerful) and Defoe as AF. Worked well and always get the effect that I want :)

Do you still have Sigurdsson? He was a beast in CF role. He scored around 25 goals in all competitions playing there. Also, with his set-pieces stat, is a bonus have him in the team. He perform well in the wings too, when needed.

Is Pepe still in Juventus? I bought him in January and he's quite good. He plays on many positions and has excellent tactical attributes. On more tough games I always play him, on right or left. I know it's crazy but in some games Bale was in the bench (in favor of Pepe and due to some injuries) because he loses too many balls and defensively isn't that good with teams taking advantage of that.

good to hear that man. agree with that, but the thing when adebayor as CF, he always to deep when the crosses are flying in the box. haha.. but yeah they both did well though. never tried sigurdson as CF, but he was solid as winger, alwasys cutting in scored a few great goal from outside the box. will give pepe a look, but maybe a bit too old for my liking.

yeah man.. a left back, left wing as back up to bale, right wing probably better than lennon, and both striker. i got this problem that i am not quiet sure which is defoe n adebayor prefer position. i always rotate them because they did not perform consistently. in one match defoe as cf and adebayor as AF, and the other way round. dembele did very well as CF though.

destro would defo suit the CF role, without a doubt !

i dont know why, but destro is not performing well at now. his form is always around or 6 or even below. i have been talking to him about his form twice now.

cheers man.. end of 2nd season trasfer window, i mangged to get in quiet a few, alaba, andrew ayew (i wish i get yamalenko, but he chose united), destro (free), ademilson, shawcross, crisetig, bochetti and butland. and i sell quiet a few as well, dempsey, benoit ekotto, dawson, falque, gomes gallas etc.

maybe because of that the team performance has been below par. still winning but draw 1 with real madrid, and lose 1 to liverpool. but all the win is a narrow pure luck 1-0, 3-2 etc, but win is still win right. hopefully the team gel, and kick start the season as soon as possible.

thats a huge squad rotation, so yeah, give it some months to gel and it will work nice

focus training for tactic and intensity for high, prematch training for attacking and you will see good results, it works for me in Benfica Lisabon and now in Bayern Munchen :)

as you can see i had an injury issue. you can say it is just a bad luck but if i have a big match next week, everytime two or three of my key players get injured in training or previous match. Sneider, Selcuk, N'Djeng, Jem, Peruzzi, Burak are my key players, but as you can see in critical matches i posted, you'll only see some of them.

i am extremely satisfied, your tactic is the best tactic for this patch. My team plays well, i keep my staff happy and i am pretty sure i will conquer europe in following years.

and to those who have complaints about this tactic; the problem is not the tactic

I played out the 2nd half and as expected we completely dominated, but missed more good chances and went on to lose 2-1. Had i drawn, i might have had it in me to continue, but its just one loss too many for me and so that's me done.

I just don't understand SI's thinking when it comes to FM anymore, who do they really think want's to put so much time and effort into a long term save when this is the only way the AI can be made to challenge???

This is "normal " this year I lost lot of games like this my team have around 20 shot on target 4-5 ccc opponent have 1 or 2 shot and my team lost after fatal keeper bug. Yes I still have great result but for me is this worst FM ever and not realy enjoy

Truth is, if you look at the AI controlled teams, you WILL find that they both win and lose these kinds of games and may well even out over a few seasons, but this is simply not the case for Human controlled teams. I must have played close to 300 matches in my most recent Norwich save and i can honestly say that i'm lucky to nick even a single point over a season, whilst i easily drop 20 or 30.

In my experience (talking to people who are both on and off the forums here and at SI) I've had loads of conversations about how much more random this patch feels. I witnessed it much, much less in prior patches, but this one does appear unfathomable at times.
 
Is this tactic ready for the latest patch? Sorry if you´ve already answered but didn´t see...Starting with QPR anyone sugest any players?
