He started as a novice coach and in 3 years... has become the best manager in the world.
Let's list his major achievements;
3 x PL
2 x UCL
1 x FA
1 x LC
Rey has achieved this in THREE seasons.
He has taken a talented, yet mentally naïve squad and made them into the finest team we have perhaps ever seen. Their style of football is breath-taking and still so solid from a defensive aspect.
Thierry Henry is his right hand man and looks after all aspects not related to the team. From media to pressers and of course the training aspect.
But when it is time to focus on the game, Quraishi is in a league of his own. He has stated about wanting to stay, but what more does he have to achieve?
The bright sunshine will become more tempting in different locations, and should he leave...
What we have achieved this season is a 'moment in time' as they say. All the chips fell our way which contributed to a quite stupendous season, coupled with the high quality and consistency of the squad.
However, this would not be possible without your support and being our "twelfth man" when we were in tough moments - you all thoroughly deserve to celebrate, enjoy and party all summer.
We will need you when the season starts again, without you, the fans, we will not succeed!
With the returns of Nelson and Maitland-Niles respectively, this has increased the English numbers to 9 in the 25 man squad. I am always eager to keep the core English as it passes the homegrown rules when registration of squads.
With the sale of Bissouma, White has stepped into the DLP position which allows Ibanez to start in the team. Apart from that, not any further changes to the first XI.
Some late business as we were able to sign Declan for 70m - another English asset to add to the ever growing list of homegrown talent.
Content with the season so far, comfortably in the pack and the team are gelling as assumed. The aim is of course the PL and another competition is a bonus of course.
A very healthy GD will likely have an influence in the coming months, thus happy for the team to keep up their ruthless nature.
MAJOR INJURY
The talisman is out
Absolute heartbreak as the Norwegian is pretty much out for the the season - devastating!!!!
Got to share this mans unbelievable statistics to date;
Always great to beat Spurs and retained our Carabao Cup...
The PL looks a long way off as MUN have been very consistent and we have had some treacherous injuries, but can still get another trophy in my opinion.
