So if we go for one who could we go for as i am stumped for names?

What do you think?

With Manuel Almunia the Club’s only recognised fit goalkeeper, the manager says he is looking into the possibility of an emergency loan. But conceded he is yet to contact the Premier League.

“Szczesny has a dislocated finger with a tendon problem,” said Wenger. “We need the assessment of the specialist to see where we go from here.
“He had a scan last night. He is out for a while, for how long? I couldn’t tell you.”

Dida on a free transfer or maybe someone from abroad but not sure who.

EDIT : Shay Given could be in with a shourt or Kushack (sp) from Man Utd

Shay Given is the first goalkeeper that came to mind when I saw this. He would be a great shot-stopper for the Gunners, and give them that stability they need between the sticks.

His lack of playing time at Manchester City has opened doors wide open for him to join other clubs, and Arsenal should be one of them - if not top of that list.

Brad Guzan? :D Dunno... Mignolet or Gordon from Sunderland? City will surely not allow Given to go to Arsenal.

Isn't Given injured? He had surgery?

I wonder who Arsenal would get

Seconded, I've been saying it since the emergence of Joe Hart at the start of the season tbh

Given is the name in the Rumour mill...

He'd be a very good short term solution to our GKing crisis, although I can see AW going for someone low key and just playing Manuel.

Given would be the best option but it is unlikely Mancini would allow him to join Arsenal.

Why not loan standard's SInan Bolat?

He's bald, goalie, and when in attack in final minutes scores a goal with his head (Refering to match Standard Liege - Az Alkmaar which ended 1:1 cause of his goal in the last minute)

It has to be a premier league goalie

I would be highly surprised if it was a big name, I mean, look at who Man City brought in last season when they needed an emergency loan keeper, it's not like you can just go out and loan a world class keeper.
