So the we were knocked out of both the Spanish Cup and Champions League within 2 Months. Poor Performances at home from the team in the cup competition. The most disappointing performance being the loss at home to Valencia. We had 33 shots where as Valencia didn't have 10. Poor finishing overall.

As you can see this season was hard for us to challenge for the title. Madrid went unbeaten for 26 games and only lost once in the league. My team did the best they could. Real Madrid broke the record for most points in a season in the league. That just shows how good they were this season.

With Rojo and Miranda leaving and Godin being close to his 30's, some young talent needed to be brought in, Marquinhos will be a first choice, most likely alongside Alderweireld, with Papadopoulos being a back up.

As you can see some results from the other 2 best teams in the league as Madrid have won 1 drawn 1 lost 1 and Barcelona have won 2 lost 1 meaning we are now above them, so if we continue to perform like we did in 2 of the games this month, the league will easily be ours!

Going well the only transfer i didnt agree with was Raul Garcia out, he was amazing for me and would have been just as useful as his replacement Canales? Rest of the signings are really good, Im glad they finally gave us some proper money to spend.
He started being really mardy :/ especially when Romero and Roberto came in, started moaning about squad size etc. and wanted to leave, probably would have kept him if he didn't moan!
Yeah was good to have some decent money! Of course the money from Rode helped a lot though!

I need to apologise for not being able to fulfil my duty of the PTP however I could have done nout about it.. the 'Incredibly fast internet' in my hotel room was exactly the opposite.. in other words after 10 minutes of trying to load a tab it would give up and claim it couldn't recieve data.. i tried every day to get on to explain and justify myself but it just wouldn't load. i could not be more sorry. i am gutted that i couldn't work alongside cool and duzzy and i hope you two accept this long winded apology

This man is just absolutely incredible... 26 goals in 25 appearances so far this season as I cannot see a reason why if he gets lucky and doesn't get injured why he can't hit at least 40, maybe even 50 this season overall!!

Everyone has featured for us this season (except Arevalo who is a youth player) and everyone has been absolutely incredible as they all have at least a 7 average rating so far, and its also good to see its not just Costa scoring as Herrera has 11 and Turan has 10!

David Villa, the 34 year old winger/striker has finally decided to retire at the end of the season which has seen him have an illustrious career at clubs such as Barcelona and Valencia scoring 242 goals and making 491 appearances and will hopefully be able to hit 500 appearances before he retires!

How we only scored 2 I genuinely have no idea... we had over 40 shots with over 20 on target! Was an incredible performance for us and really think we could have got at least 5 if we could hit the target!

This man is just absolutely incredible... 26 goals in 25 appearances so far this season as I cannot see a reason why if he gets lucky and doesn't get injured why he can't hit at least 40, maybe even 50 this season overall!!

Everyone has featured for us this season (except Arevalo who is a youth player) and everyone has been absolutely incredible as they all have at least a 7 average rating so far, and its also good to see its not just Costa scoring as Herrera has 11 and Turan has 10!

So i had a bit of money to play with but ultimately my 2 signings were based on transfer offers that came in. First off Martin Montoya joined Monaco for just over ?10 Million and Leo joined Granada for ?10 Million too along with a few loan deals out.
So first off i made a bit of a boo-boo i brought in Ocampos from Monaco for ?3.5 Million as a replacement for Leo but now i realise we gave 3 foreigners in our squad already(The maximum you can register in La Liga) but when i was doing the transfers we were playing in the Spanish Cup so i never thought about it as he played. Yarmelenko is part of this rule but im pretty sure the Ukraine join the European Union on the game some point soon?

So the bad news so far has been top goalscorer Diego Costa has only played in 3 games since Christmas, Hes scored 6 goals in that time but 2 short term injuries have kept him out of the side for most of my time in charge this time round.

The start of January doesnt look good with all the draws but 2 were against Real Madrid in the cup and we did manage to beat them on penalties and go on to win all our other cup games, which their are a ridiculous amout and make it to the final were we will play Barcelona.
We had a couple of terrible results in the league drawing with Sporting before Bilbao beat us comfortably as i tried to get back into the swing of the side and tactics but after the loss we went on to win 7 games in a row without Diego Costa for most of it with Arda Turan key and David Villa showing hes still got it despite retiring at the end of the season.
We then had a bore draw with Villareal before losing to AC Milan in the Champions League Knockout round 1st leg but ended the month on a high with a big win against rivals Real Madrid and Diego Costa returning to the team and smashing in a brace against Levante.
