9 wins out of 11 with an impressive victory over Barcelona before going on to grab a point against local rivals Real Madrid. Diego Costa couldnt stop scoring again this month as he managed 10 goals in the 8 games he played in.

Equal points and goal difference with Chelsea but they top the group having scored one more goal than we have and we get drawn against Juventus in the Knockout stages.

So the club is around ?48Million in the red so despite not seeing any of the money that will come in i thought i would let a couple of players go due to big interest.
Goretzka was moaning a lot about not getting game time so i decided to cash in, hes only worth ?8Million so when Man Utd offered ?28.5 Million i snapped their hand off the other deal was out of my hand as a young centre back called Ryter will join Barcelona after they activated his ?15Million release clause that i had no idea about but at least these two deals will put us back on the right financial track for the new year.

6 wins from 7 as we thrash some poor teams in a month were we face a lot of rubbish teams but despite this still manage to drop points in the league to lowly Rayo.

As we already know due to high spending last year the board have limited us with the budget however that didn't stop me ;)

Rodriguez was sold for a tasty fee of 35M, however as the board are stingy I barely got any of that. So I re-invested the money into another left back. I originally went for Jonathan Silva on a free but he renewed his contract so I went for an average yet capable of first team player. Plus side is he is spanish. Bernat was signed from Bayern Munchen for a fee of 7.5M. That's like 27.5M less than what I sold Rodriguez. Good bit of marketing there if I say so.

As noted before Goretzka and Rytter were sadly out on their way but none to worry, are squad is big enough already. The next signing was made so that our Belgian back up keeper could go next season as he's a little whining b*tch. So I signed a Argentinian GK for 3.5M called Leonardo Bossio who is 20 years old with 4.5 star potential.

So January was a great month both in the cup and in the league, Diego Costa again at it like always with goals left, right and center. I wasn't so impressed with the Granada match which ended 3-3. It was frustrating. We scored, they scored, we scored, they scored... we scored, they scored. However we f*cked them in the 2nd leg, so all is good. We also b*tch slapped Real Madrid in the cup so that was good too.

yeah haven't really checked our finances that much but we have been royally f*cked this season. We've got 100M+ from sales this season yet only spent 16M with only 8M left to spend.

Overall good set of results. I changed the formation before the 2nd leg against Napoli to pull of a comeback but it wasn't meant to be. 4-0 is too much to comeback from.

YES! We have won the league for the 3rd time and now twice in a row. The team were strong attacking this season and Costa as usual got Top Goalscorer.

Squad

So before any transfers have been made and after loaned out players have returned the squad looks like this...

So we do already now have 3 foreign players in the squad:

- Leonardo Bossio

- Eder Alvarez Balanta

- Lucas Ocampos

These are 3 very good players and I have decided to keep Ocampos at the club and use him for at least the first half of the season.

As you can see the squad is quite poor in terms of back up in defence so a few players are needed here:

Transfer Aims:

RB: Maybe bring in someone who is of better quality already than Danilo and Manquillo, it is likely that one of these will be leaving, or bring someone who has potential in but has enough quality to be back up to Danilo.

LB: We only really have Digne and with Balanta being a main CB he cant really cover this position, so a player with potential but can also be a good back up shall be brought in.

CB: We only really have the 3 main ones, as Crooks is still young and doesn't really have the quality yet so will go out on loan.

Also Alderweireld is about to hit his 30s and his contract is up at the end of the season. Most likely bring in a young centre back, good enough for back up but also has potential!

Summary

So, overall I believe we only need 3 players, all of them to be back ups to current players but also to have potential to become first choice in the future.

The 3 players (RB, LB, CB) are all very likely to be young (less than 21) so may cost a bit but I will be paying no more than 20 Million for a player.​
 
I wouldnt buy even more youngsters that are not going to make the team as backups just for the sake of it, i think the RB's are fine, just maybe a left back to replace Rodriguez and an older CB? Whats the balance looking like compared to the transfer budget?

Only kidding haha, good analysing. We are strong in midfield and upfront. Strengthen the defence but the young CB's shouldn't be loaned. They improve more at the club when played 10 games a season. Also if you buy a RB better than Danilo then Danilo will need to go as he's on 90K.

This is all advice though, do what you want, after all thats why in a parcel save you get control for 6 months ;)

I'm not going to sign anyone unless they can get into the team in some way. Issue with RB is that Manquillo isn't exactly "quality" and with him being worth 10 Million, if I can find someone good enough to bring in that's worth it and will actually be useful then Manquillo can leave.

I am looking at a couple of older CB's, but for some reason the clubs want ridiculous amounts for them, so gonna have to keep looking!

I already a LB lined up that is gonna be challenging Digne for first choice, already quality and 19 as well, also quite cheap as well!

We are currently 30 Million in the black, so I won't be going over that, I am selling off some of the deadwood in the side that are never going to play, but we are also estimated to end with more than double

Yeah our midfield and upfront is incredible, will not need to bring anyone in for those positions for a while!

Think I may keep the youngsters here, doesn't seem to be anyone around worth bringing in in defence at the moment so Crooks may get a chance!

Doesn't seem to be that many players that are better than Danilo around at the moment, most of them e.g. Rafael, Lahm, Azpilicueta either want rediculous transfer offers or are getting into their 30s anyway!

We shall soon see what happens ;)

We seem to like to make it hard for ourselves! We should have won this in normal time as we were the better side, but after the red card we made it even harder on ourselves!

So in that aspect I am quite surprised we even made it to Extra Time!

At least we got the win to get us through to the next round where we will be playing...

We were incredible in the 1st half, taking a 3rd minute lead and then controlled the game from there! But in the 2nd half... they came out fired up!

They attacked us constantly and we were very lucky they only scored once!

We are the winners of the World Cup after beating Brazil 3-2 in a very entertaining final!

Once they went 1-0 up so early on I thought that was it... they were going to tear us limb from limb, but I guess my half time team talk was inspired as came straight out the traps and got the equaliser!

Then an excellent piece of tactical excellence from me as I throw Morata on, and he scores with his 1st touch!
