A very solid tactic. Into my 3rd season with Crystal Palace, finished last season 7th in Prem so scraped into Euro qualifications. In Dec now and topped my Euro group with Hannover, Anderlecht and PSV! 4th in the prem and scoring between 2-4 goals a game. The only problem is I draw too many games. I find that I go 2-0 up early on and then let in 2 in the 2nd half, is there anything to stop this? One of my best games though was against Liverpool away. They were top and I brought my STR back into AMC and dropped my def by 2 notches. I won 3-0 and had 5 ccc. I tried this against Stoke the next game and drew 2-2, why is it so inconsistent?

hay thanks for getting in touch Razorone, yeh this tactic Isnt Perfect I will admit that, but you are doing brilliant with them and to be Constantly Improving Im sure you will beat the inconsistancy soon. You wont win every game, Atleast its not Lots of losses.

I have a couple of questions

Who is in your team ?
What have you tired so far to counter the inconsistancy ?

I find that When playing Away Im not as strong, But i have being trying the ( "Drop deeper, Exploit the flanks, Moving the defence notches down some too ") I dont score as much away but Im not Dropping as much points as i have done before.

After a slow start my Newcastle team has settled in to the tactic and getting some good results, beat Arsenal 3-0 Chelsea 4-2 drew with Man Utd 1-1 but dominated and missed a pen. Team is normally;

CM Cabaye
RW Ben Arfa/Obertan

Some Nice results Billy, Plus not making many trasnfers can have a great effect next season, you will have some more cash to spend On trasnfers.

Like ive said the tactic is far from perfect, it does Have a Very good Fluid attacking style, Often gets Batterd on the counter when the defence isnt great. So im expecting teams with Average Defences to let in more then normal, But you will score a Tub full of goals.

Currently working on a More defencive version, Im keeping Plenty clean sheets and still scoreing lots.

Before I start, two things need to be said. One, yes I acknowledge I am Man City, but I am bored and absolutely destroying teams is epic. Secondly, this tactic is godly. You say it's far from perfect but it's much closer than you think! This is from my first season in charge of them. I managed to win the Carling Cup, the Premier League, the Community Shield at the start of the season as well as coming Champions League runners up (lost 7-5 in the final to Barcelona).

haha thanks Davey thats a fantastic season. Ul on the champ laegue, Barce can be a ***** to overcome. Im porto the now played 9 scored 47 let in 1, barce beat me in the Super cup 2-1 which has been my only loss all season.

I know the tactic Is doing really well. But there is always room for improvement :)

Look forward to seeing your resuts next season with Citys 100m Transfer Kitty ahah.
 
Haha, thanks. I signed Gotze for Nasri's position and also Hummels, also monitoring Ronaldo for the right for a possible bid in January. Will post season results at the end of it! :)
 
After using your tactic for my Juventus team, I could say that you did agreat job mate!!

Still only few games but the tactic works fantastic, well till November of 1st season still unbeaten, only 1 draw against Napoli despite played the game brilliantly..."highly unlucky" as the report said :)

Also, asking your permission for I'm gonna try your corner setting and a bit of your player instructions for a tactic I created before :)

After that I have a lot of young players who arent quite ready yet, just trying to break them in over the next season or 2. Where do you think I need to improve first? I have got about 2mil to spend in the coming transfer window and already have De Groot coming as LB.

I have tried moving the STR deeper, tried exploiting the wings and dropping the defence slightly deeper. This only seems to work for a game or 2, then I draw again. I am still playing above what is expected but would like some more consistency. I never seem to have much possession and the opposition always manage more shots than me?

Being one of the Prem new boys and probs Be expected to Fight Relegation each season, ur doing really well to get to where you are. the Consistancy will imporve as the team does. I promise you that.

Fierro and Destro are fantastic, Nam Tae Hee gibson Good too.

Defence is quite Shocking tho ahah, Could try and get a Few in on loans from bigger teams. But Im sure you will do just fine :)

Q, What year are you in now ? may be difficult to recomend players

Cheers Ill have a look at them when I can. Im at Jan 2014. I know my defence is pretty poor, but im reluctant to spend big as ive got 2 young french CBs and a young keeper who are all going to be brilliant, they are just not ready yet, another season or 2. Destro was quality as I got him on a free and he has got 11 in 16, Fierro has 23 in 32! Up to 3rd now after beating Wolves and West Brom 5-1 in consecutive games, then lost 3-0 to Man U. Wasnt expecting anything there though.
