Mario Balotelli has been named the best young player in Europe - and claims he hasn't heard of second-placed Jack Wilshere.


The troublesome Manchester City striker won the prestigious Golden Boy award voted organised by Italian newspaper Tuttosport and voted for by journalists across Europe to recognise the most talented player Under 21.


Highly rated Atletico Madrid goalkeeper David de Gea - wanted by Manchester United - is third, but it is runner-up Wilshere who got Balotelli scratching his head.

Mario needs to keep his mouth shut- If he carrys on like this, NO Club will want him and his career will be ruined. He's nowhere near the standard of Rooney & Fabregas yet- Maybe in 4/5 years time, but for now he needs to focus on his career and play well. For a lad coming to a new country etc and he has had hin injury problems also. Fabregas this season for me has been disgraceful, you can clearly see hes head is somewhere else. He is the kind of player i would have liked Chelsea to sign, everyone seems to hate most of our players anyway so he would fit right in lol.
