So glad your doing well with it and it's good to see people using it with lower league teams. Cant wait to see the screenshots. Cheers mate
Mate, Not normally one to go and download someone elses tactics as i believe it takes away from the game but upon reading about your results that you got with Xavi I had to give it a go. I gave it ago with sporting gijon and im in February atm and im second in the league, was predicted as possible relegation candidates and now find myself in the midst of a tittle battle. This tactic is superb , the RB role is excellent get constant 8 ratings and it mimics dani alves barce role perfectly. The xavi role is superb miguel de la cuevas is leading the assists chart and is 2nd in average ratings. Congrats mate absolute quality, will post screen shots when i have the time.

Mate no offence but, if you are winning games thats all that matters not if you win by 2 goals compared to three. How about trying something yourself what do you want him to do. Come round and play it for you ?

Good tactic! But make it any difference if you change STC (Messi) to trequartista and give him a free role to play?

worked great on 2 teams, but after 1 season it stopped working! not sure what i could have tweaked but i think the AI twigged it after a season ( did win the premier league and get to champions league final though).

A very mean tactics. Suitable only for strong teams with world-class midfielders.

Yeah but the wider the formation is, the harder it is to implement a short-passing system

Actually not. You can easily play short passing possession football with wide width and quick tempo. I managed to do it.

Wouldn't it help to change iniesta to "central midfielder - attack" cause i think i read somewhere that its not good to have more than one playmaker on the field.

has anyone tried this tactic with another team? can it work? the reason i ask is because i am trying it in a new united game and i have never played so poorly :-0

Ehm well I downloaded this tactic and edited it to a 4-5-1 formation with 2 flank inside forwards and 3 Midfielders. Now these 3 midfielders -> Iniesta, Xavi, Ganso -> Iniesta & Ganso are Advanced Playmakers with attack, Xavi is Deep Lying one with support. Messi alone in forward as trequartista. Now the results, well 18 Games played in La Liga, 15 Won, 3 Draw, 0 Lost. 4 conceded goals :P

So at least 3 playmakers work for me :)

but one of the epicest things in this is that Valdes sometimes gets more passes than Xavi. :)
And Pique is always like the leading passer with 80 passes or moar..

Ive been reading a lot on this site and SI with passing and moving and somehow come up with this. its the nuts really is, but he only got 63 passes against At. madrid, so it looks like the smaller teams he can do it.

Hahaha

Could you tell about what you've been reading cause im interested in achieving this myself in my 4-5-1? But i want to do it on my own from the start, not using others tactic and changing. so please help me with how you got to these instructions and other important information

Used this tactic with Leicester, managed to achieve 108 complete passes for Faurlin in his first game against Scunthorpe, bravo!

Just lots of different post i cant name them all sorry

No problem, then i would like to ask, if i make a possession based tactic myself, and put in the xavi role, would he make the same amount of passes, cause you said in a post on the second or third site, that it's the role and not the player who are making those passes?

Dont know to tell the truth i think it the way the whole team is set but you more then happy to find out.

Hi Mate. Gonna try this tactic after work.
Just a quick question.

I'm using Chelsea yeah, was just wandering whether Lampard / Paulo Henrique can take Xavi's Place on MCR position?

Cheers

I would use Paulo Henrigue there and Lampard on the MCL

My Left Back made 99 passes completing 93 of them while my MCR connected 24 out of 26.why is that? :D

Cheers mate, I just did that and used this tactic yesterday. No tweak at all.
And won 3-0 against Everton away..

Essien got the most passes with 50 passes, not sure if that's a lot or not? gonna examine this tactic again today..
My GF disturbed me yesterday so I only got the chance to play one match..

Thanks so much mate :)

i feel the same way. the results you've achieved with barca alone is amazing, but it's really unbelievable how effective it is with any other club in the game. i'd really like to take a look at your research so i can feel the satisfaction of creating my own tactic.

Just to let you know, I took over as Chelsea manager and my god this tatic has had me dominating for the last 2 and a bit years. I would have won every trophy for 2 years on the trot, if it wasn't for injuries and my rotating policy. Trying to blend my youth in.

In match preparation, I have set this to defensive positioning, and I very rarely concede goals. I have played 28 games so far in this current season and I have only conceded 11. Congrats man, this is one of the best tactics ever to be created.

Probably to do with throw ins mate. My RB and LB seem to make the most passes in every game I play. Although my CM makes 60 passes every other game. I haven't hit anywhere near as much as a 100 though. The highest I think I got was 73.
