Thanks mate, i knew this was going to get harder as i went on but i feel as if gave up the title this season because i played too many youngsters in the supposed easier games and we ended up with draws.

We started the month with a poor draw against Alcoron which just summed up our season with too many draws against rubbish teams, we then won our last 3 league games of the season to set us up nicely for the Champions League Final

Real Madrid had a nervy end to the season meaning that the 1-1 draw against 17th placed Alcoron was even worse than i first thought as we give up the Title by 1 point for the first time in 3 years.

A brilliant performance by centre back Bartra who got the man of the match award and scored the second goal after Traore scored an early opener. We easily secured my 3rd Champions League Success since taking over in our 4th Final.

So in recent months we have been playing a few friendlies, 5 in total against teams i was told would suit the games we would play in the group stages, we won all 5 and one was my 50th game in charge of Spain.

So the big changes from the most recent tournaments with Spain are some of the ageing players have been left behind, the likes of Jordi Alba, Diego Costa and Sergio Busquets did not make the team but i still chose 11 players over the age of 30 as the media pointed out but it shows theirs not a lot of good players coming through.

Well we were really expected to win this match but had a shocker, Isco missed a penalty right before the break and we then had a player sent off right after half time in which they took advantage immediately with 33 year old Alexis Sanchez scoring the winner 2 minutes later.

So we went from 2-0 up to 3-2 down before they missed a penalty and it was a real turning point for us as we then equalized before holding our nerve and winning on penalties.

So along with the games already mentioned we had a good start to our Champions League campaign beating Dortmund and Steaua both by the same 3-1 scoreline but didnt fair so well in the league.
We only managed 4 wins from our opening 6 league games losing to Valencia and Granada with our ownly saving grace being that we beat Real Madrid in our next match after the Valencia defeat.

Thanks mate, ive never seen a lot of the Barca youngsters become stars on my saves so it was nice to give them gametime, didnt think Montoya or Traore would get as good as they are

I'm a Barca fan myself and I once tried something like that. I made an editor file in which I returned every player who wasn't Spanish in his previous team, but I kept players who had Spain as their second nation. (Messi for example) It was quite fun!

I think you should allow yourself to buy Spanish or Catalonian regens, in order to to complete the HG challenge.

Perfect start to the Nations League campaign as Spain dominate the game but we win 2-0 away from home! Spain do look like they have gone back in time bringing Diego Costa, Sergio Busquets and Thiago all back in despite being well into their thirties.

Yes its definitely something im going to look at in the future, as some decent regens are not coming through my youth intake at all but i felt it would lose the point of the story? Could set myself some rules like only Spanish players, Have to be under 21 when signed and so forth.

So first off in the Champions League we beat Lyon in back to back European games home and away 4-2 and 2-0 before beating Dortmund again to secure our place in the next round with a game in hand.
We fared much better in the league these past couple of months winning all 9 league games beating the likes of Sevilla and At Madrid and putting 6 past Almeria.

This is still fantastic. Personally I'd like to see you stick with just academy players wherever possible, but maybe if you're desperate then signing one or two young Spaniards would be best. Or maybe if you get a feeder club and set a rule that you can only buy young players from your feeder teams.
