So theres two ways the starting 11 is going to change either Miravent on the wing and Halilovic in the middle or Halilovic on the wing and Nicieza in the midfield, their will be plenty of rotation.

Not the way i wanted to start the new season but Miravent did look good on the wing even if we did lose the Cup.

Oh ******! Halilovic out for 4 months! This was going to be hard enough without Traore and Roberto but now Halilovic will be missing til the New Year we could struggle.

So we lost the 1st leg of the Spanish Super Cup 4-3 against Athletic Bilbao but we stormed back in the second leg smashing them 5-0 with 3 of our goals coming in the opening 15 minutes.

So along with the Super Cup games i have already mentioned we got our defence of our Champions League Crown off to a good start beating Plzen 3-1.
5 wins from 7 league games and 2 draws sees us start the league campaign unbeaten after 7 games with former youth intake players Nicieza and Miravent in fine form.

Thanks mate, yeah Traore was pretty amazing start to score goals for fun too and could have seen him taking over from Messi as our second best player behind Neymar.

Not sure what im going to do to be honest, they are probably past it themselves now 31 and 33 years old but may look into swelling the youth ranks, as long as i sign them before 18 they can become homegrown for the club i think

So we had a pretty busy time of it with 6 games in the Euro Qualifiers in around 2 months, We rattled off impressive 4-0 wins against Austria and Serbia before only managing to ****** a very late 2-2 draw against Hungary, We got back on track with a 4-0 win against Azerbeijan and then beating Austria 3-0, we ended the campaign with a shock 2-0 loss to Serbia but i had changed the starting 11 quite a bit as we had already qualified.

So a 22 year old English player whos never made the squad before rejected his call up from an injury because he wasnt in the original squad, so ive immediately stopped scouting him and kicked him out of the National Pool, Sonny boy will never play for England again.

So not the best of months, first off lets talk about Europe, we started off getting smashed by Marseille 4-2 with Sergi Roberto coming back to haunt us before getting back on track with a 1-0 home win against Porto, we then lost 3-2 to Porto back at their place 3-0 down at one point until Messi and Neymar netted to make it interesting before beating Plzen at the end of the month thanks to a Rivas goal, but were currently in 3rd place with 1 game to go in the Champions League groups.
Only 4 wins from 7 in the league as we lose to At Madrid and Atletic Bilbao whilst managing to some how hold Real Madrid to a 2-2 draw, it was a real topsy turvy month going from back to back losses to smashing 6 past Real Sociedad, the shining light is that Rivas has really found his goalscoring touch now.

Not too bad considering the month we had just 4 points off top spot in 3rd place but still a place and a point ahead of Real Madrid.

So we ended the Champions League group stages terribly as we lost to Marseille and got knocked out! How can you go from back to back Champions League Winners to not even making the Knockout stages!

We did have better luck in the Club World Championships as we smashed an Egyptian side 4-0 before beating Mexican side Tigres in the Final to secure my 26th Cup and 33rd Trophy overall.

thanks mate, was always expecting something like this as my youth players find their feet, my current team goes from one extreme to the other in terms of half my squad is under 21 and then 6 players are well into their thirties, not really got anyone in their prime but Halilovic right now
 
Hey guys i have got the rest of this season to post up but after that was wondering what people would think if i changed the rules up on bringing players in, would only sign players that i dont have a decent youth for anyway so Perez, Miravent, Nicieza and Rivas should stay in the team but was either thinking sign players 21 years old or younger or signing players that are Spanish and trying to get as many Spanish National team players in my side
 
ya.. Spanish U21's... and ex Barca players... also 35+ players who would take up coaching roles to tutor the young players... you need them!

Spanish Cup

So we managed to beat Gimnastic in the 2nd leg before beating Real Madrid in a massive 5th rnd, we then managed a narrow 4-3 on aggregate win over Rayo before setting up a big Semi Final against Valencia.
We lost the first leg 2-1 before going on to lose the 2nd leg at our place 3-2 and head out of the Spanish Cup.
We dominated this when i first took over with 7 straight Spanish Cups now we havent even made the Final for 2 years

We did smash the record attendance for a Europa League game with around 20,000 fans more than the previous record

So the Spanish Cup games have already been talked about but we did fair better in the other Cup beating Dortmund 4-2 in Germany before a 0-0 draw back at our place set up a next round tie against Tottenham.
We had a much better time of it in the league with 7 wins from 8 only dropping points to Rayo in a 2-2 draw.

A. Bah - that guy in the team of the year is a Regen? how are his stats?

what you can do is buy Spanish young players...
but you also need to see that you are losing players in their prime, and you can't just replace them with a team full of youngsters..

something like... replacing an outgoing player with a similar Spanish player? any age.. but fee less than what the player went for...
